Alex Blackthorn is a sexy dark haired bad boy. Serena finds herself unable to ignore their attraction
Serena new she could never be in a relationship, but Alex has her starting to wish for more but Alex is his own issues, can they get past them together?
Have you ever asked are you good enough? Serena has a long history with self-esteem issues which makes her wonder why Alex would accept her for how she is.
I loved this Story, both damaged yet still willing to fight the fight, our Bad Boy can’t really be labeled that for long, because he really is sensitive and sweet to Serena. But be prepared this is an intense rollercoaster ride, but isn’t life as well?
Layer upon Layer of great Story telling you will feel you are along for the ride.
I am looking forward to the next chapter in this Story. I would highly recommend it

This novella gave me more insight to jack and a connection I didn’t feel before. And prequel to Stewart Realty series. Which is a very successful series, which I have also read.
If you are a fan of Liz's Stewart this is for you, you will love this.
I recommend this book, and the entire series.

I also thought it was a glimpse into a real-life blended family atmosphere, with all the fantasy mixed in that the fans love.
I would highly recommend this book

I must say that I am certainly a sucker for MC books and this one did not disappoint. It is the first in this series and I am looking forward to reading more from this unruly bunch!
It begins with Nicole and she is a frustrated college student who feels that she has fallen into a rut, she feels as though the world of fun and excitement is passing her by. She begins to envy the escapades of her lively and carefree roommate. She decides to throw caution to the wind and venture out to a biker party and check out what she has been missing.
She is enticed by the men , bikes and lifestyle from the moment she is thrust into it. She is enthralled with Jase from the first encounter.
Jase is a strong, sexy, street smart VP of a biker club. He is fed up with the revolving door of impressionable woman that have been crossing his path. He has devoted most of his free time to reestablishing the club into a cleaner and safer life.
He begins to think that everything is going as planned until all Hell breaks loose. He meets Nicole and unfortunately the chaos surrounding the club begins to come to a head and unravel around them. They are thrown together in the middle of the drama, deceit, danger and mystery. They begin to see each one for who they truly are.
Jase begins to surprise Nicole with a strong sensitive side and Nicole is quite full of spunk , loyalty and a gritty sassy personality that begins to shine. They also have that undeniable sexual attraction that has them unable to stay away from each other.
I look forward to the next installment of this group of characters.

A very well written story that in present day has believable characteristics
I enjoyed it’s funny moments, although bad choices were made, just like real life. And filled with real emotions, like just real life.
I thought this author did a great job with this story and would look forward in reading more.
I would highly recommend it.

Per Miles programming, he has to protect Alexis, he shouldn't be able to override Alexia's commands. However, he defies her at every turn.
Can Man and machine live by one another, technology has created a world where the lines of are blurred, when Alexis is attracted to Miles. And are Androids supposed to have these feelings? She soon finds out.
A futuristic short Story, but fast paced and filled with sexy intense scenes that will leave you wanting more. Well written and leaves room for more to come. You will love the story even if Sci Fi isn’t your normal read.
I would highly recommend this book.

The book incorporates, suspense, romance, action and well written and so were the sex scenes so should appeal to most readers.

I also thought it was a glimpse into a real-life blended family atmosphere, with all the fantasy mixed in that the fans love.
I would highly recommend this book

I must say that I am certainly a sucker for MC books and this one did not disappoint. It is the first in this series and I am looking forward to reading more from this unruly bunch!
It begins with Nicole and she is a frustrated college student who feels that she has fallen into a rut, she feels as though the world of fun and excitement is passing her by. She begins to envy the escapades of her lively and carefree roommate. She decides to throw caution to the wind and venture out to a biker party and check out what she has been missing.
She is enticed by the men , bikes and lifestyle from the moment she is thrust into it. She is enthralled with Jase from the first encounter.
Jase is a strong, sexy, street smart VP of a biker club. He is fed up with the revolving door of impressionable woman that have been crossing his path. He has devoted most of his free time to reestablishing the club into a cleaner and safer life.
He begins to think that everything is going as planned until all Hell breaks loose. He meets Nicole and unfortunately the chaos surrounding the club begins to come to a head and unravel around them. They are thrown together in the middle of the drama, deceit, danger and mystery. They begin to see each one for who they truly are.
Jase begins to surprise Nicole with a strong sensitive side and Nicole is quite full of spunk , loyalty and a gritty sassy personality that begins to shine. They also have that undeniable sexual attraction that has them unable to stay away from each other.
I look forward to the next installment of this group of characters.

A very well written story that in present day has believable characteristics
I enjoyed it’s funny moments, although bad choices were made, just like real life. And filled with real emotions, like just real life.
I thought this author did a great job with this story and would look forward in reading more.
I would highly recommend it.

Alexia, an Artist is one of the few humans left, she is skeptical about the coexisting of humans and androids, when her job lands her on a list of people targeted by terrorists,
Per Miles programming, he has to protect Alexis, he shouldn't be able to override Alexia's commands. However, he defies her at every turn.
Can Man and machine live by one another, technology has created a world where the lines of are blurred, when Alexis is attracted to Miles. And are Androids supposed to have these feelings? She soon finds out.
A futuristic short Story, but fast paced and filled with sexy intense scenes that will leave you wanting more. Well written and leaves room for more to come. You will love the story even if Sci Fi isn’t your normal read.
I would highly recommend this book.

The book incorporates, suspense, romance, action and well written and so were the sex scenes so should appeal to most readers.

This series is about a journey of sexual self discovery after my divorce as I sought something new and exciting.
In her Forties, looking for something new, exciting and different. Will she find what she is looking for?
Wow I was hooked from the first page. I felt like I was reading someone's erotic journal. The story and the characters seem very real and believable. I thought the writing style was fun and easy to read. You could actually feel the connection between Summer and Mark. The Alphabet has never been more fun.
After book One you will download book Two so fast your kindle will smoke! And the journey keeps getting better, richer, more exciting. You connect, imagine, and fantasize about the characters. You won’t want to stop!
Definitely a book to put on your must read series list ! I highly recommend this book!!

This was a wonderful collection of stories by some amazing authors.
Love Me for Me by Lauren Hawkeye - This was an absolutely wonderful story. It is the story of Serena King and Alex Blackthorne. They met oustide of their American Lit class and immediately felt a connection.
After getting to know each other they realised that they both had secrets from their pasts which shaped who the are now.
Alex knew there was something in Serena's past which caused her to be very skittish around people, but he took his time to put her at ease enough to start building on their initial connection.
Their love unfolds as each secret is revealed.
This was my first Lauren Hawkeye novel but I doubt it will be my last.
House Rules by Liz Crowe - This story stars off with Jack Gordon Jr finding his mother on the kitchen floor, laying in her own blood filled vomit.
This introduces us to Jack's upbringing which shapes who he is in the future, a guy looking for a stable home life.
There is a big jump from the last chapter where Jack meets Sara, to the Epilogue where they are getting married, but don't worry, there are three more stories sold separately which fill this blank spot.
Great reading
No more wasted time by Beverly Preston - This was an absolutely wonderfully moving story.
We meet 44 year old Tess Matthews as she is seeing her two daughters off on their holiday to Europe. After seeing them off she catches her own plane to Bora Bora.
Next we meet 49 year old Tom Clemmins we he buys his way onto Tess's private tour in Bora Bora.
This is the start of a very intense but moving romance.
It was wonderful to read of an older couple and they way that an older family reacts to a new addition.
It was my first book by this author but it won't be my last.
Moving forward by Erika Ashby - This was a great read. We meet Jesika, a year after the death of her husband. She is finally coming back to the land of the living when she meets Derek at careers day at her son's school.
The connection between Jesika and Derek almost seems fated.
Their journey moving forward is touching.
I can't wait to read Mallory and Seth's story.
The Devils Tattoo by Nicole R Taylor - It was great reading a book based in my home country, I could actually picture the places and what they were like.
This story was a really good read. The main characters are Zoe and Will. Zoe suffered in her past relationship and has closed herself off from people except for Dee.
Will had a bad experience in his last relationship which has made him wary.
Their relationship has it's ups and downs but it was wonderful to see them strengthening as time went.
Sons of Mayhem b Nikki Pink - This is a book about the outlaw motorcycle gang, Sons of Mayhem's VP and a college student.
Nicole is a college student who has always been good and feels like she needs a change. She catches her room mate, Lucy, coming home on the back of a motorcycle. Lucy convinces Nicole to come to the next party at the clubhouse.
She meets Jase who is one of the VP's for the Sons of Mayhem MC club.
This meeting is the start of a whole new life for Nicole.
How he really feels by Lisa Suzanne - In this story we meet Julianne and Nick.
It was instant attraction for Julianne. She has a major crush on Nick, her new boss. Come New Years Eve she makes a resolution that she is going t be more proactive in her feelings.
Little does she know that Nick had already noticed her.
Their path together is not a smooth one. It is full of ups and downs and heartache.
I really enjoyed this book.
Inoperative: Cyborg One by Charity Parkerson - This was a short story about M.I.L.E.S and Alexia.
M.I.L.E.S is a cyborg who is given to Alexia to protect her.
I don't normally read these types of books but I must say this story intrigued me from the very start. I may have to have a look at more in this series.
Finding Home by Lacey Wolfe - This is a beautiful story of Julie who finds herself pregnant and alone after her boyfriend gives her an ultimatum.
Julie heads home to her mother's house and gets the shock of her life when she finds a half dressed man, Mark, in the kitchen cooking.
So starts a gorgeous story.
This is the first story that I have read in the Brookfield series but I think it won't be my last.
Skylar Tower by Khelsey Jackson - This story is about Evangaline Skylar, a strong, independent woman and the rich CEO of Sky Tech.
Evangaline meets Angelo when he comes to her offices hoping to get an interview with the gorgeous female CEO. There was an instant attraction between the Italian reporter and Evangaline which confused her as she had always guarded her heart. She didn't allow anyone apart from her bodyguard/driver Axel, to get close to her.
This is the start of a bit of a love triangle which ends up with more than one person hurt.
Great read.

What to Read After FSOG: The Gemstone Collection (WTRAFSOG Book 3) is a wonderful collection of stories from 11 of today's finest writers at an outstanding price. At this point I have only read one story however, if the rest of the stories are only a fraction as good as Love Me For Me by Lauren Hawkeye then the collection is worth every penny. I will continue to update my review as I finish additional stories.

Wow! This story just pulled me in and held me enthralled until the end. Such a touching love story of two damaged people who find each other and through their love begin to heal and grow. The characters were so wonderfully written! Alex is strong and loving in spite of his own personal challenges and demons. Although Serena is terribly damaged she doesn't come across as broken and weak. I love that the author used this story as an opportunity to speak about a health issue and provide the reader with a bit of education about the issue. So glad I read this story!

I held off from buying Books 1 and 2 of the What to Read After FSOG Gemstone Collection, because frankly the only authors I have read before was CJ Roberts in Book 1 and Red Phoenix in Book 2. With my backlogged book reads in my e-reader, I was hesitant to buy another boxed set. Since I have read both CJ's and Red's works in the previous collections, I passed on purchasing them. (Still, those collections are a great deal -- 99 cents each for full-length books.)
However, I only recently got into Lauren Hawkeye's work and have read her work since February's Riding Desire Biker Boxed set (no longer available). So when I saw her work in the third Gemstone collection, once again amongst unfamiliar authors, I thought this would be an awesome way to get one of her stand-alone books at a discounted price. So yes, I got a copy of WTRAFSOG 3 at $0.99 only so I can read Lauren's book, Love Me for Me, at a discounted price instead of its stand-alone price at $2.99.
What's even better than this sweet deal? I'll get to read other authors whose works I haven't read before at very little risk. I have no qualms I would enjoy reading their work, since I have enjoyed Lauren's previous boxed set co-authors. So I guess you can call me a fan ... with benefits. :-)

What a fantastic collection of stories at such a unbelievable price. When I got this collection I was not familar with all these authors but the authors I did know I knew it was worth so much more. These stories have all had such likeable charactors that kept me engaged and captivated with sexual tension and chemistry that heated my e-reader and kept me turning the pages into the wee hours of the morning night after night. These stories of romance felt so real and true you can't help but root for them, hope for them and fall in love with them. This has been the best collection of stories that I have ever read. I'm positive you will love these stories as much as I did. Starting with the first story by Lauren Hawkeye you will be captivated again and again.

Have only read one story so far but had to leave a quick review for it, then will add more as I read the others from the AMAZING Authors! I read The Devil's Tattoo by Nicole R Taylor and loved it! The story of finding yourself again after being abused and lied to is awesome. Zoe on stage kicks but, but off stage she is back to her same insecurities. Will has been hurt as well but is instantly taken by Zoe but doesn't do a great job impressing her. I loved reading their interactions and was great to see some walls finally being broken down. Great story, now onto the rest!

Finding Home: When Julie finds out she is pregnant, her boyfriend is less than thrilled causing Julie to pack up and head home for some much needed help from her mom. When arriving at her mom's house in Wyoming she finds her mom is gone on a road trip and Mark is renting out the house while she is gone. In a freak snow storm Julie and Mark are snowed in together for days. They both have a hard past that has to be shared if anything else is to come of a relationship between them.
This is a very sweet book of love and loss and the hope of finding love again.

Just love these sets. I originally purchased it for Lauren's book which I must say was fantastic. Im going to purchase the second book in that series now. The other books were enjoyable so it was a win win.

This is a fantastic set of books from some amazing authors. Each of the books I've read in this set has been a 4 or 5 star book. This is an incredible deal at only 99¢.
