This would be a 4.5 if I could give it. It's full of practical and valuable things, but my one gripe with this series is that it is designed for privileged programs with lots of money. It does offer alternatives, but often ones that are not especially practical for programs with one director.

A great resource for middle school band directors. It covers a wide range of topics, and the information is very digestible. Just remember that you know your individual situation and program best, and that some of the advice given will be more or less applicable to you specifically. Still, most of the information here is helpful and universal.
