Hal Clement's Hard Science Fiction tale about two astronaut's struggle with moon dust.
"…The [Moon's] surface material is one of the lousiest imaginable electrical conductors, so the dust normally on the surface picks up and keeps a charge. And what, dear student, happens to particles carrying like electrical charges?"
Harry Clement Stubbs better known by the pen name Hal Clement, was an American science fiction writer and a leader of the hard science fiction subgenre.
Even though I enjoy how Clement uses true scientific facts in this story, I however did not like the story in general. The mundaneness of it just killed me, and it seemed as if it just continued to drag on. It was hard to get into, and it never got better.
I do want to give Clement another shot, and will try to read another one of his stories.
