Esse livro foi presente de Tia Fátima, quando da realização em Salinas da 5a FIEL (Feira Intercolegial Estudantil de Livros - ?), nos dias 8, 9 e 10 de 1988. Não me lembro ao certo quem foi o idealizador ou como essa feira começou, mas havia uma agitação entre os estudantes para trabalharem no evento. Na edição de 1988, o lema foi "Livro não é a única fonte de saber, mas lendo bons livros você aprende a viver". Na ocasião Tia Fátima pediu para eu escolher um exemplar: "O Menino Selvagem" foi o que me interessou. Demorei todos esses anos para conhecer por completo a história, e ela me tocou como se estivesse ainda em 1988, conhecendo tão pouco da vida e aprendendo a viver. Como acredito que quando ganhamos um livro, suas palavras são as mesmas da pessoa que nos presenteou, agradeço Tia Fátima por se fazer presente e me ajudar a crescer. Bjs
