Suggests a year's worth of dating ideas for couples looking to end the "dinner and a movie" humdrum, in a volume that complements each recommendation with tips for how to make a date extra special. 50,000 first printing.
Uhmm, okay. Some of these ideas you can come up with on your own. A few ideas were really pricey, and one or two was like nope. However, it is a great little book to give you some great little ideas.
Such great ideas in this book! There were 2 or 3 that I didn't have much interest in, but the vast majority of them I could see myself and my boyfriend doing, many of them multiple times.
I love that each date has advice on what you may need to bring with you, how to make sure you have the most fun possible, and ways you can take it over the top if you wish. Some dates are pricey, while others are totally free. There is great variety--everything from flying kites to renting limos.
And not only are the book's contents clever and amusing, the cover is attractive, the graphics are EXTREMELY cute, and the layout is easy to follow.
I just happened across this book at the library. It has some fun date ideas, but most of them are things that you would probably come up with on your own anyway. There were a few new things that sounded fun though. Some of them are definitely pricier than others, but there were plenty of cheap and free ideas too.
Some of these dates are inspired, some are mundane, some are impractical, and some are seriously scary...but this little book will get you thinking beyond "dinner and a movie." Pick and choose and add your own ideas. This might be just the springboard you need to liven up your love life (not X-Rated unless you want it to be)!
