This book is a rollercoaster of emotions—both hilarious and heartbreaking. The characters are raw and deeply compelling, pulling you into a story filled with tension, passion, and unexpected humor. The spice level is off the charts, adding to the intensity of the relationships and emotional stakes. While some moments made me laugh, others completely shattered me. A gripping, steamy, and emotional read that lingers long after the last page!

To say I loved this book would be an understatement!!!! I couldn’t put it down and finished it in less than a day!!!! The best ending…. A rough start…. Fighter fighters… betrayed….. The banter… the range of emotions this made me feel, can not count the number of times I laughed out loud…. The inner dialogue…. I cannot say enough good things!!! This was such a great spicy read!!!!

This was a great, quick read!
The spice was 🥵 & the storyline was definitely different from anything i’ve read before.
the ONLY complaint is i wish there was MOREEEE! i was getting so frustrated with Jolene because i just wanted that girl to open her damn mouth when confronting her ex fiancé & ex bestfriend. 😂

This book was the perfect mixture of southern sass and class! The book itself had me hooked by the title ALONE because with a set up and a description like what Morgan gave us I KNEW the drama was going to be goooood. I was wrong though, the drama wasn’t good it was INCREDIBLE.
I am a sucker for feminine rage and a good ole scorned character arc and I’m especially content when said trope is supplemented by a gorgeous MMC that saves the day!! Morgan gave us all that and then some served with a southern silver spoon and some crude language (the best kind). The dialogue between all the characters was incredibly satisfying and very emotionally understandable. Which made it very easy for me to connect with the characters and feel their emotions with them. The FMC speaks her mind and says exactly what I’m thinking in the moment which is an incredible connection to have between reader and character. I’m not sure what that says about me per se but I’m not even going to address that because I love Lena and she can do no wrong and neither can I.

I absolutely love Dak and Lena. As someone who grew up in the south, it was a very fast read for me, finished it in one day. I could hear the accents in my head. I usually read more dark romance but this was a nice refresher while keeping the romance there and my love for tattooed men alive. This is definitely a book I’d recommend to anyone who loves a good southern accent, hot firefighters, and cheaters getting what they deserve.

Fabulous, fun, flirty, laugh out loud romance. Only complaint the ending felt rushed- wanted a bit more of Jolene & Dakota at the end- can we hope for a part 2?! Jolene’s sass and Dakota’s one-liners, realistic and relatable. Hope this becomes a series.

I absolutely loved this book! The story line kept me turning the pages and I couldn’t put it down! The spice was spicing 🥵🥵 This book really sets the tone of what a relationship should be. Friendship is number one when it comes to love. Nothing better than loving your best friend. All men should take a lesson out of this book…Be more like Dak!

This book threw me for such a tail spin! The development for these relationships was something I wasn’t expecting. My love for Dakota is unmatched! Morgan truly captured the heroic energy for this man! I can’t recommend this book enough! I couldn’t put it down I read it all within a full day!

Ohmygoodness! What a wild ride. I couldn't put this book down & read it within an afternoon into the evening. Even though Lena & Dakota went through some hell at the beginning of the story, it was all worth it in the end. I love a love story with a non traditional start to a HEA ending! Bravo Morgan! I highly recommend this book & now off to read your others!

Who doesnt love some hot firefighters!!! Loved the characters and the banter they had throughout the book! It definitely had me laughing out loud which I enjoyed immensely!!! Some parts i wish there was more information or more backstory, but the plot was good and the spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Thank you Morgan McDaniel for this ARC! The snap backs in the banter was golden. I loved the premise of the love interest. It was like when the suriel in acotar said stay with the high lord but both Jolene and Dakota were with the wrong high lords lol. Dont get me started on the spice. Maam! I blushed. Blushing is not a good look. If youre looking for a spicy and fun firefighter romance, this is in my top ten to recommend yall.

I had the honor of being chosen to ARC read this spicy little rollercoaster love story and I ate up every minute of it. I had so many emotions in this book, I laughed , almost cried, I yelled and even laughed rolling on the ground. There are so many things going on in this book, we have betrayal, drama, anger, love and spice. Oh the spice is chef’s kiss🤌🏼💋. I had an absolute blast reading this book.
My favorite quote from Lena Loo: “Besides way less than 8 inches fucked my world up today, so I wouldn’t mind seeing what a few more inches can do”. It’s like this that had my jaw on the floor and me on the edge of my seat going what?!!! This book is full of the great Lena one liners and tons of banter. It had me rolling on the floor belly laughing at times.
Morgan McDaniel’s writing style was so good that I thought I was actually in the book because of how descriptive it was. With the candles I thought I could smell them or when Dak describes Lena’s parents house and says you should turn this smell into a candle I swear I could smell it. I love when an author can do that. It just makes me want to read more of their books. Speaking of I need the next book in my hands ASAP after reading this. I absolutely loved everything about this book.

Dakota (Dak), Jolene, Jace & Cassie have been best friends and couples since high school. Dak & Cassie are engaged to each other and Jace & Jolene are engaged. Jolene, is getting married at the beginning of the book!! Or is she??
Dak & Jace are firefighters in town. They both love their jobs. Jolene is making candles and work on her small business.
The wedding day turns out to be a disaster. Jolene takes off and Dak follows her to his fathers cabin up in the mountains. He knows she shouldn't be alone. Neither of them should be. There is also a winter storm coming and neither know how long they might be trapped up on the mountain.
Jolene and Dak seem to know each other well, since they've been friends for 20ish years. Jolene knows they are both hurting, and they both turn to each other for comfort. Although being in Dak's arms shouldn't feel that good should it? Jolene and Dak need to figure out what is going on with their now ex's but, neither of them want to speak with Jace or Cassie.
Jolene went back and forth in her head a bit much. If Dak isn't with her that means he's back with Cassie. If he's back with Cassie she should be back with Jace. Until Jolene finds out how long they have been sneaking behind their backs she knows she can't get either a second chance with her.

I very much enjoyed this story. This is my first book by this author. It was a quick read. If you don't want to read a cheating trope this is not your book. It's a read where two people are brought together by cheating xs. Their bests friends. Unfortunately Jolene finds out on her wedding day her fiance is cheating on her with her best friend. Dak is the best friend who's fiance cheated on him with the soon to be groom.
This story is exactly why I live soap operas. It's filled with drama and truthfully unrealistic scenarios. I found the Jolene and dax get together something one would see on a daytime soap. Unrealistic as it is I was sucked in. Good God it was addicting. I have dnfd books for less. But this was hands down daytime drama. There was a great deal of back and forth conversation and of course the total misunderstanding and the reading into stuff that makes the drama more drama filled.
So if you enjoy drama this book has it. From start to finish and all of the in between. Oh and bless your heart.

The friendship while they have made my heart happy even after the ugh moment of betrayal. # Trauma Bonding “I guess if you’re going to be brokenhearted, the best way to do It is with your buddy and some booze.” I love how feisty Jolene is. I loved the internal monologue and some of them had me cracking up. Moments of heartache, anger, laughter (legit was laughing out loud), love this hits It all for me. This very easily skyrocketed into my favorites category.
Very well done and I can’t wait to read more.

Ok this is the third book by Morgan McDaniel that I’ve read and OH. MY. GOD!! They just keep getting better and better!!!
There are usually three things that are indicators to me whether or not a book might be a good read: the cover, the blurb and the dedication. Enraged gripped me with all three of these so there was NO WAY I wasn’t going to read it!!
Now imagine on your wedding day — in the LORD’S HOUSE, no less — you find your groom and your best friend knocking’ boots. Right off the bat the drama has you hooked because who isn’t nosy enough to want to know the gossip when there’s cheating involved??!! So I’m there devouring this book because I want to know what happens with Lena and Dakota when they get stranded in the cabin. The plot and the characters were wonderfully developed and let me tell you, the spice was spicing!!
Finally, the southern mannerisms in this book had me ready to move from the East Coast to the South at the drop of a hat.
Can’t wait to see what other books are a part of the series because who doesn’t love a good firefighter romance? So if you love some drama with your spice, then definitely give Enraged a read. Trust me!!

Jolene (Lena) and Jace were set to get married, that morning she finds her best friend Cassie and him getting it on AT THE CHURCH IN HER MOMS OFFICE! WTF. I audibly gasped when I saw that. She leaves and goes to the cabin they grew up going to & his best friend/Cassies fiancé, Dakota, ends up stuck in the snow storm with her. Lemme tell you the mouth on that man 🥵. He knew he had to protect her even though he was hurting too and they grew together. Having them put Cassie & Jace in their place was the best feeling for both of them & I was SO HAPPY! Their love for each other after that with the two decades of history between them only made their love stronger. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHATS NEXT! Thank you Morgan McDaniel and her team for giving me the opportunity to read this. 🫶🏻

This book had such an incredible opening that immediately pulled me into the story, and I couldn’t put it down. Grab a glass of wine and settle in, this book is everything and gives chick lit vibes with a twist. From the onslaught it’s well paced, shocking yet riveting. The humorous tone and lighthearted approach to the complex situation Jolene (lena) and her child hood buddy Dakota (Dak) find themselves in, provide an intense, emotional, comical and spicy reading experience. FMC is a well developed strong, witty yet complex female protagonist navigating personal growth and life changing events, regarding what her future may hold. Their lifelong friendships are put on the table and boundaries are broken, some in beautiful unsuspecting ways. So settle in for a shocking wild ride, full of sarcasm, witty banter, that had me in laughing fits, that probably woke up my household! (No Spoilers)

I wish there was more! To get gut punched as fast as I did I had to put the book down and prepare for this! Wishing to jump a certain characters was a strong impulse!! The character build up was great, who doesn’t love a good firefighter story?! To have your life rocked so hard and still come out on top was fun to read! I wish good reads would give partial stars as this was truly 3.75⭐️ there were perfect moments and moments that I wish had more but just felt too rushed 🥺 I will definitely read the series!!

If you enioy soap opera drama and pure spicy inbetween your finger tips, this spicy firefighter romance x childhood friends is your next stop on your TBR. The way it's written how Jolene and Dakota get together seems unconventional but for these two it's definitely not. The 2nd and 3rd act had me wanting so much more and is the reason I finished in three hours 😆🫶. The fiesty banter between them both makes you want so much more.

This is my first book by Morgan McDaniel and I freaking LOVED IT!! The characters felt so real and relatable. The amount of times I laughed out loud and was like "well crap that is exactly what I would say or think". I LOVE friends to lovers and this was written exactly perfectly for that. It wasn't unnatural, there wasn't one sided pining. It was incredibly natural, Lena and Dak are a perfect fit that wouldn't have been known if not for cheating fiancé's. I only purchase physical copies of my most favorite books and this will DEFINITELY be added to my collection!

This is a cute rom-com. A quick read that draws you in with lots of juicy drama and spice! The characters could have used some further development but the story is ridiculously adorable! The story is predictable but in a way that has you rooting for the main characters (Lena and Dax). While this is a story of betrayal it is also an uplifting story about overcoming that betrayal and holding people accountable for their actions! The main characters exude self-respect and honestly what better revenge than making those whom betrayed you watch you be happy with someone else?! ❤

I highlighted so much within the book that I felt like I was a fly in the wall. The character development for Jolene and Dakota along with Dakota truly standing on BUSINESS tugged at my heart. My biggest complaint: I honestly could’ve read 150-200 more pages HAPPILY!!!!
