As the dust settles on Sports Day, Reine sets out to thank everyone who helped her get through it! But when Reine asks Julius what she can do to repay his kindness, he suddenly tells her to become an S-Rank! But why now?! And what if Reine can’t…?
At Julius’s birthday party, Reine meets her dashing cousin, Cecil, who seems to know something about Reine’s buried history with Julius… While the plot thickens around Reine’s mysterious past and her possible future in this otome world, Reine tries her best to enjoy the present, surrounded by all her friends! …Which now includes Prince Theodore, who — it turns out — speaks!
2.5/3 stars. So many mysteries. What did her "bro" di, why is he using her, and why is she allowing his openly creepy behavior? She worries about them being siblings and holding hands, but he's just like... it's okay--no one knows we're sibs. Like...that wasn't her concern, but sure. It seems pretty obvious that they aren't related but why isn't he telling her? Instead asking her creepy questions like, would you like me if I wasn't your bro? Incest reigns here as she currently thinks you are and tells him, yes. Anyway, I'll follow this to the next bin.
NOTE: I got all these 4 volumes through Comics Plus (library app that one of my libraries gives me access to), apparently they aren't out, but they are on the app, so yeah, haha.
Quite a fun manga! Reine is cute! The guys are all fun! Julius is fun but he needs to fucking tell the truth because it gets icky! Great magic! And more!
Review for the first 4 volumes is coming in mid-March on my blog.
I was quite bored throughout this volume. Some of the potential love interests are starting to get a bit weird and Julius is downright creepy. Even if he isn't actually her brother, his behaviour is too obsessive.
Even with the hints that there might be more trouble coming in future volumes, it is not enough to keep me interested in this story. I don't think I'll be continuing with this series any more.
The sport day stuff seemed like it would potentially have big scholastic outcome but it didn’t. So that one guy is creepy huh? Glad it wasn’t just me before. But still wishing we were getting more of the family dynamic.
After the cliffhanger in volume 3, I was expecting some high stakes drama... But this volume was rather luke warm and fairly uneventful. Honestly, I felt a little bored.
