Polarity Reversed

Rate this book
Sequel to Polarity, #1

Susie is the sole survivor of a horrific plane crash – the mysterious chain of events that led to the tragedy is just the beginning. Much stranger events are about to unfold. Avoiding the two FBI agents investigating her survival is simple – outwitting the multiple plots of Them to kill her is far more intricate, but it becomes personal once They gruesomely murder a friend’s family. Determined to lead the authorities to the killers, Susie’s experience in the world of Polarity is one that is amazingly helpful, but also deeply cruel and unforgiving.

Then there is Dan.

Polarity. Some have more than others. Much more.

I did not win this book on Goodreads.com, but because of a book I did win on this site called "Polarity", I wanted to read this one, "Polarity Reversed". This book was as awesome as the first one. I really enjoyed reading this book and wished that the next in the series would have come out already, but I have to wait about a year. A person having polarity is someone who can, at a glance, know a person's past, present, and future, from the moment they are born until the exact date and time they will pass. It is a battle between "Us" and Them". There are a lot of twists, turns, and a few "duh" moments. When I say "duh" moments, I mean moments when I thought to myself, "Why didn't I see that coming?". I hesitate to call this book genre "Sci-Fi", but I'm not really sure what genre it is. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the "Sci-Fi" genre!!!

Like the first book in the series, this did not end the way I expected. I am so drawn to this series. Just when I think I figured things out, another detail is revealed and everything I've learned so far is just the tip of the iceberg. I know I sound really cryptic but I don't want to give anything away.

Can't wait for Number 3!!!

A fun book to read. Meraki is redefining reality with her fascinating "polarity" concept. A lot of questions from the first book are answered, but of course she ends with new big question (enough said, I do not want to spoil anything for you). The title of the book comes from the fact that "polarity" can be undone or reversed. With all of the problems that polarity brings to her life, I did begin to wonder why Susie doesn't want to try to get rid of it? Since it seems to be a possibility? Very thought provoking and entertaining!

I love this series so much!!!

There is so much going on and I love trying to piece everything together. Fast-paced plot that always keeps you on your toes.

I also really liked Susie's character much better in this book. In the first book, she was a very irritating character, but I loved her transformation in the second book and her growth and maturity as she got better with her Polarity.

I am already anxiously anticipating the next book in the series.

Fast paced, moves along faster than part 1 (and part 1 moved along at a pretty good clip!). The story has a few twists and turns along with a lot of action. This one had me not wanting to put it down wondering what was next. I would highly recommend to anyone that likes action/thriller novels and especially to anyone that enjoyed the first one. Can't wait for part 3 to see where this goes and what they will do.

I really enjoyed the fast pace and excitement of this book. I found myself racing through each chapter to find out what happens next! It was interesting to see how the characters developed and follow along with the main character to see how she dealt with her predicament. The twist at the end was also thrilling, too! I would definitely recommend this book and am very excited to see what the third book has to offer!

OH MY GOODNESS THAT END WHY IS THERE NO BOOK 3 YET OH MY GOODNESS.

One thing I love about this book is that the style--including the setup--is very similar to the first. We begin with Daniel and Father Crane and, while the story is focused on Susie working through her Polarity, there is a lot about Dan as well.

Nauseatingly too much.

Through Susie, we see the downsides of Polarity...but also just how beneficial it is.
We see how They and Us both commit "evil" acts (but what is and isn't evil is really in the eye of the beholder) in the name of "good." And thus, it's evident that real evil uses truth to seem good.

New characters include FBI agents Eddie and Vinny. Eddie sets my teeth on edge from the start and Vinny is a wonderful man who is accident-prone.

It IS weird to me that Susie is almost the only female in this book. It makes me wonder if full Polarity is supposed to be more common in men.

Susie just gets better and better. I look forward to seeing her again in the third installment. Down with Dan!
