This book is such a great companion for anyone that has any experience with leaving a toxic environment and searching for independence (particularly in the context of religion). David's words and art are so beautiful, and I found so much comfort in them. Sophia's journey put my own journey into words so well. It offered hope and made me feel that I am not alone, that my experience is shared by so many others. Thank you, David! Highly recommended.

This book is beautiful. It's full of art, poetry, story, and dreams. It follows the author's journey from deconstruction from a place where he felt trapped, to finding freedom and all the fears that come with that, and then finding himself. I've gone through a similar experience and I appreciate very much David Hayworth putting this out for people like me.
