The Brightest Shop on Main

She came back to her roots to find peace and stability.
He's a nomad artist just passing through.
Nothing about this is a match made in Heaven.

Pearl never planned to own a glass shop, but when the opportunity fell into her lap right after a tumultuous relationship ended...she couldn't have been more grateful.
Back in her hometown, with her sister next door, Pearl is ready to take a breath and find her roots.
So when the glass blower she hired decides to stick around for a few extra weeks, Pearl is absolutely, one-hundred-percent, NOT interested in getting to know him.
Not even a little bit. Maybe. Sort of. Nope...no way. She's learned her lesson and she doesn't need a repeat, thank you very much.

Hutton hasn't stayed in one place for more than a couple of weeks in years, but the petite, dark haired shop owner has caught his attention and Hutton isn't one to be deterred so easily. He's worked hard to get where he is and he's determined to figure out what's so special about the bright eyed beauty.
Now if he could just get her to actually have a conversation with him that wasn't about work...he might just have a chance of breaking down her defenses.

When a break-in at the shop gives Hutton the chance to play 'hero', he decides it's time to grab on with both hands...and maybe plant both feet firmly in one place. For the first time ever, his heart is less in his work...and more in pinning down his wounded boss.

When she needs help, he’s the man for the job
Such a wonderful story with a mix of romance, a touch of mystery, and struggling with the past and the present. Pearl has returned to her hometown to open a shop specializing in glass decorations. To boost business, she has arranged for a popular blown, glass artist to do demonstrations in her shop. Little did she know she’d meet that artist, Hutton, as he is rescuing her from a burglar trying to get into her shop. When the vandal returns and the threat to Pearl’s shop continues, Hutton insists that he will protect and help Pearl through all that she is facing. As they work together to rebuild the inventory, find the vandal, set up his demonstration, and work through their growing attraction they find themselves being drawn closer and closer together. A wonderful read to enjoy. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

Pearl owns a decorative art glass shop and Hutton makes wonderful glass art. He’s been invited to town to help two shops, including Pearl’s, as well as his own business to promote Oregon artists. He’s fascinated by Pearl and even though her history at first prevents her from accepting his affection, she soon learns he’s being truthful. When another robbery attempt at her glass store brings family difficulties for Pearl, Hutton is there to help her handle it with grace and love. A HEA story I recommend. I received this book for free to review and these are my own thoughts.

We all need a man like Hutton…smart, brave, kind, unwavering, attentive, loving…what did I miss? Nothing! I read this beautiful story and KNOW why Hutton is all those things…on top of being Pearls’s Happily Ever After! Don’t overlook this addition to the Shops on Main series!

good romance

I really enjoyed the romance in this story. You can’t help but live “Hot Hut”. I loved how he treated Pearl. I did feel like this one lack the depth of story the other ones had. There was t much involvement from the friends.

Pearl longs to find love but has been burned in the past. Hutton feels the same. Pearl and Hutton are both so kind and I loved seeing them fall for each other. There is a bit of mystery in this book that draws them even closer. Great series and looking forward to the next book.

Hang in there—life does get better!

What an engaging storyline, with HEA! I love the entire series-gets you thinking how you would feel when things are going downhill, and then do you accept help, and love too?!’

Great

Pearl met the handsome glass sculpter when he came to town on contact. Hutton and Pearl had an instant connection. Together they figure out who is breaking into her store, which brings a whole other issue.
