Being friends with the new guy in town seems to be going well until Jessie Duran and her brother Daniel find themselves questioning his true motivations. Who is Xander Reed? And why is he so unusual?
A good first effort from Leona, filled with different twists and time travel that can be confusing if you stop to think about it (hint: don't try to figure it out. It'll just make your head hurt). I wanted to see more of Daniel's backstory, as well as a bit more character development. It's a relatively fast-paced read, which is good for this kind of plot, and I'm sure fans of time-travel will enjoy reading it.
This was quirky read that left me giggling in places. There is wit, wisdom, and a journey that left me thinking about scenes long after. It was a good read that reminded me a bit of Douglas Adams in places. If you are looking for an okay book to read in your time off you've found it.
