A heartwarming family saga that celebrates hope, sibling bonds, and small-town community.

After her world was shaken to its foundations by the loss of her husband and the revelation of his gambling debts, Vivian Owens has finally found steady footing again. With The Lighthouse Grill thriving and her grown children all living nearby, she feels a renewed sense of lightness, energy, and optimism.

She even starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to put herself out there again—especially when an older man named Alan starts showing up at the restaurant, lingering over his meals and flashing charming smiles her way.

But Alan isn’t the pub’s only new patron. Terrence Rawlins—the no-nonsense health inspector whom Vivian has butted heads with more than once—also starts to stop by for meals from time to time, and Vivian is surprised to find that she actually enjoys bantering with him.

Is it possible that both men are interested in her? Or are they each just looking for friendship? Is she really ready to open her heart again?

But just as she’s about to throw caution to the wind, she finds out that one of them has been harboring a secret—a lie that could threaten the life she’s worked so hard to rebuild.

As the Owens siblings rally around their mother, they’re each juggling their own milestones and setbacks. Dean’s health issues strain his relationship a bit, while Alexis seeks to satisfy a mystery pregnancy craving. And Julia realizes that Cooper is planning to ask her a very big question.

No matter what comes their way, one truth will always with the love and support of family, anything is possible.

Take a trip to Rosewood Beach, where the water is warm, the sand is soft, and the Owens family is waiting to welcome you into their lives! This sweet and uplifting women’s fiction series is the perfect bookish escape.

This was a good book, but it seemed the author was trying to tie up many loose ends from the prior books.

Narrated by Amy McFadden

More fun at Rosewood Beach, I am more than happy to visit anytime! Fiona Baker is bringing so much fun to Rosewood Beach as relationships bloom and others continue to grow. Vivian has her eyes on the health inspector, Terrence, the new restaurant is causing problems for the pub, Dean is insecure with his health issues and Julia is craving the craziest things. And I can't forget a possible proposal! The family is full of excitement and all the things that families deal with. I love them all as they work through secrets and problems, finding all the solutions through the love they have for each other. This town is one I love to visit, having each other's backs and keeping things running smooth and happy through any turmoil. Loved this one!

Amy McFadden continues her performance of this fun town, keeping all her voices consistent and full of the emotion this town brings. I love how she flows from character to character, keeping it real and full of life. She is amazing!

This is the fifth book in the Rosewood Beach series, a family saga I absolutely love, and it’s another outstanding addition. There’s a lot happening in this installment, and the story is both engaging and emotionally rich. Vivian is a wonderful and compelling character—her journey is heartfelt, moving, and deeply gripping. Terrence is enigmatic yet supportive, and I really appreciated his presence in the story. The Owens family dynamics are beautifully portrayed, and I loved the strong bonds and connections between them. It was a true pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces from the previous books. I’m very much looking forward to continuing this series. Amy McFadden did an excellent job bringing this story and its characters to life. #BlueNoseAudio

This installment of the Rosewood Beach series met the expectations left from the last book. I like that Ms Baker fills in the some of the characters details from previous stories. But she doesn't dump it all at the front. She puts it in as the character comes in the story or as appropriate. This story focuses on Vivian, the matriarch of the family. As a widow, she is slowing getting over her husband's unexpected death. Is it time for sparks to start for Vivian? This could be a real-life situation. Should you or when is acceptable to move on from the death of your spouse? In early-American times, there was a time that was socially acceptable for a woman to stop wearing black and going out in public. But in actually, one never completely gets over their spouse, but it gets easier to coop. I would recommend you add this entire series to your to-read list.

Book 5 in the Rosewood Beach series deals with matriarch Vivian Owens desire for love after the death of her husband. Two men, Alan and Terence, seem to be interested in her. Vivian is deceived by one of her suitors and is worried about the fate of The Lighthouse Grill. Other family members dream about their future. I especially liked pregnant Alexis's search for the perfect food to satisfy her cravings. It really provided some comic relief to the storyline. Fiona Baker deftly paints the portrait of small town life and its inhabitants. I loved this book !

This series just keeps on getting better and better. I feel like Fiona really nailed the love after loss trope without the book being overly emotional or just filled with over the top drama. It felt warm and fun and makes me love the family members and Rosewood Beach even more.

This was such an easy listen. I love how Fiona is able to blend multiple stories into one. Vivian's idea to opening up to a starting a new relationship, Dean facing relationship issues, Julia wondering if she's ready for marriage, Hazel having mom-guilt, and Alexis dealing with her pregnancy cravings. All are so relatable!

Amy McFadden continues to do an amazing job in this series!
