So this is the last book in the Affliction series. This final part was about my namesake, Rob the drummer.

I loved how each of the last 3 books was about a different band member. I could quite happily have read 3 books of each member.

Ms Cross has a talent for writing tortured souls who managed to put their demons to rest and look forward to a future. She can write a sizzling sex scene and as this is a series about a band, obviously the sex has been plentiful throughout. But the funny thing is, even though there's plenty of sex in all 6 books, the sex is actually all different with each bloke having a different style! I actually thought that was quite clever to remember that they all have different personalities but they would also all do something slightly different in between the sheets...or up against the wall, or in the tour bus or in the bathroom.....

These books are now in a combined book but to be honest it doesn't matter. Being in 6 books didn't affect the flow of the story.

I fucking loved reading about Affliction, and Amity Cross is is definitely an author I will be following/stalking!

Ok, found my second favorite couple in this series, Rob and Lilly. They are adorable and naughty and so desperately broken. Rob turns all "Batman" and saves Lilly from danger and the rest is history. A bumpy, sexy, dangerous ride. Lilly, "purple haired, tattoos, wannabe tough chick" has a secret and Rob "was just in the wrong place at the right time" has always been literally abandoned. Love these two. Individually and as a couple.

The build up was intense and the story just got more ad more interesting as it went on.

"I knew I said I didn't want to fall in love, that I didn't need it, but the more i thought about it, the more I realized I didn't have a choice."

The author did a kick a** job with this series, sad to be done but glad I got to experience this intense rock band and their...expertise... ;) ~ Krissy, 5 (sexy lopsided grin) stars

When I finished book five of this series I wrote that the next book couldn’t possibly be as good. Well I was wrong! This book was actually better then book five with no problem. Rob was feeling jealous because his friends all had someone and he was alone, actually all the other guys had family. Rob was totally alone and it was messing with his head. He leaves the studio one night and a woman with purple hair is screaming. There’s a junkie trying to rob her at knifepoint. This is how Rob meets Lilly and it’s pretty close to perfect. They feel comfortable with each other and fall in love. Lilly has secrets that could get them both killed. This story is sexy, hot and it had drama. Honestly of all the books in this series this one is the winner. I recommend this book highly.

I seriously loved Rob and Lilly's story. Rob is feeling left out with all the guys in the band finding their HEA. In a fit of jealousy he takes off and hears the screams of a woman. He finds Lilly being mugged and saves her.
Lilly is running from her past and she doesn't want to bring Rob into it.
I hate to see this series end it was so good. The writing was exceptional and this author knows how to tell a story to keep you interested and coming back for more.

It’s time to say see you soon, I do not speak that Amity stop writing (she is already preparing his next story), I am referring to Unexpected Series. Unstoppable is the latest book in this series, and in this story we have of protagonist to Rob Hackok, the main drummer of the rockband Affliction.
Definitely you’ll have to read the previous books because the story starts from where we were with Mick, Joe and West … Speaking about stuff guy .
If you have read the reviews I’ve published of the previous books, you knows that for me this books are compared with delicious candies. In this case the inspiration came to me thanks to a cake shop. A delicious cupcake blueberry chocolate with purple frosting represent this lovely book.
For me, the drummers are a mystery, but being honest the drum sound is what more I note when I listening to music, although I never noticed who is playing. So Rob, is a rockstar and yeah he has his fame but is the most mysterious of all with a story behind it. And the side of the Super girls we have to Lilly, who in this case will be to help us (and to him too) to understand Rob, she will be the frosting of that delicious cake. She will have a deep story behind it along with a strong emotional charge.
This latest book is certainly a gift from the author for their fans, is a little lighter than the others, certainly takes a different path that carrying something delicious on every page, without leaving any loose thread.
Our protagonist Rob gives us a glimpse of what is happening currently with the band and takes us to his life in this new way. Rob is the most kept their feelings out, its battery is your only friend at that time when it seems everyone has given them to be in a pink cloud of sugar laden hot moments. Until that a little misfortune for a girl becomes his escape to start knowing it and discover what you really he wants. Lilly is that girl, and she certainly help Rob … but as helping someone if you can not help yourself? Lilly comes with a suitcase full of ghosts, but these emotions and secrets is faltering because the fault of the sexy Rob.

Amity achieves melt a romantic story while still being erotic, play with the desires of each and shows us a different way to get that way with the help of the personality of each of the characters. The erotic goes in a sexy way and goes hand in hand with moments of great laughter and aside, the drama on who will be involved in this story.This book can be read very quickly, immediately I get my virtual hands on it and within 3 hours I had laughed, weeping in joy and especially remembering many things or moments of this series.
Definitely I loved Rob is the guy that every girl wants in the real life, is more natural, and for being honest is which uses more the head but despite the barriers that has managed to put correctly, his heart is the who commands . And Lilly I can to say! You kept me on a personal dilemma and perhaps without a doubt , of the whole characters of the series,Is to whom I understood more, kept me laughing and yep, at any time my eyes seemed to summer rain.

Book dedicated to fans of Amity, for those who believe in love, for those who believe in the erotic stories and for those who like sexy boys and rockers with a big heart. A great close to this rock band.

This is the last book in the Unexpected series and I'm so sad to see this series end...I connected with so many characters in this series and my favorite guy from this series is Rob Hancock, who's one of the main characters in this book. He was imperfect and broken, which I like because they're always a puzzle to figure out. I also loved Lilly, his love interest, although I didn't like her as much as all the other heroines in this series.

Rob Hancock had a rough life. As a teen, he came home from school from being suspended, again, for fighting and found this home empty and his mother gone. Having to grow up fast, he got mixed up in dangerous things until an event changed his life and made him want better for himself. Flash-forward several years and he did it. He made a name for himself and is doing what makes him happy, being the drummer for the world famous band, Affliction.

Only one problem. He's jealous of his friends. He wants what they have found. Love. Seeing them with their girls and talking about them all the time has him feeling like the seventh wheel. One day, while he was standing outside, needing space from his friends, he hears a scream from a frightened woman and runs to help her. He saves her from a bad situation and the two form a relationship.

Rob thinks he's found his one with Lilly, but there's something Lilly isn't telling him...and that secret can end up destroying their relationship and put them in danger.

I enjoyed this book so much! This whole series was amazing and again, I'm sad that it's ending. All these characters are people I can look up to and I'm happy I got to read about them. Such strong characters! And the plots are always interesting.

I recommend this book, and this series, to everyone!

I loved the story of Rob & Lilly. It was nice to see how much of a family Affliction was and how they were there for each other This played out great as to Rob's "street smarts" and how they came in to play to rescue Lilly. I also liked how Lilly actually came back to Rob without him having to chase her down.

The biggest part of this is how sad I am that this is the last the author has written in this series. I am hoping that she has a change of heart again and continues her writings on Affliction. It feels like their story is just getting started. I want to hear about the dynamics of how the women in their lives affect them especially out on the road. How do the guys handle all the "attention" they get from other females now that they are taken. It is getting harder to find good rock romance books and I wouldn't think twice about reading another Amity Cross book on Affliction!!

I lied. Rob is my favourite Affliction man. Strong, stubborn and sweet he is the man for me. I've loved every book in this series and this was no exception. Rob feels invisible, he's jealous of his band mates and dealing with things that happened to him in the past. Not one to talk about himself, he doesn't go to his band mates, instead he pushes them away. When he saves Lily from been attacked, he feels like she actually sees him. Wanting to protect her he finds Lily is keeping secrets. Determined to get through to her and show her he will be there, Rob keeps pushing. Although he doesn't do relationships and neither does Lily he has the odds stacked against him but he's determined to keep Lily for himself. Another brilliant book from Amity Cross

This book starts with a shocked meeting and takes you on a powerful journey of secrets and emotions. Rob, Afflictions drummer, and the last remaining single in the group rescues Lilly and what is to come will change both their lives.
Lilly wants to stay in the shadows,but her feelings for Rob won't let her.Staying together could be dangerous, but staying together may be just what they both need to let go of the past.
A beautifully written book that keeps you wondering what is going to happen next.

Loved to get Rob's story! It was so awesome to get his back story, which I won't say. But to finally understand why he's so quiet and then get to know him rocked! I loved Lilly and how they met! The whole relationship between them was beautiful. Then when the story got crazy, they were there for each other and risked it all! Loved this book! The whole series is a serious must read and enjoy watching this band grow internally as well as externally! ♡♡

This story is about the last unattached Affliction band member, Rob Hancock.
It is an absolutely wonderful story about rising above the bad to become great.
Rob meets Lilly when he saves her from being mugged by some crazy junkie. There starts a beautiful friendship. They both have issues from their pasts that they have to overcome to become more to each other but the road is well worth it.
I think Rob may have overtaken all of them to become my favourite member.

Ok, I know that I said Mick and Sasha's story was my favorite, but that has changed now. Rob and Lilly are now my favorites. I'm glad that the series ended on their story. Rob has finally been bitten by the love bug that has made its way through the band when he saves Lilly from a mugger. He finally tells everyone about his past. Lilly is on the run but what will happen when what she's running from finally catches up to her?

I officially have a crush on an Affliction band member! Joe was my favourite until I met sweet Rob! Wow! What a honey! A big softie hidden under a tough exterior, I loved getting to know the man behind the drums. He kinda walked to his own beat and I adored that about him. Lilly had a lot to hide but it turns out so did Rob. This story proves how a chance encounter really can change everything. A perfect end to the series!

Another page turner of a read in this amazing series. This book revolves around Rob and the girl he saves during a violent attack. I loved the story, seeing the dark side of Rob's back story was a surprise.
