We read this book as part of a family Sunday School class at our church. We have seen this test and help families that have teenagers. Having younger kids myself, there was still lots that I learned, can apply, and implement for the future. This book addresses four specific “hooks” that the enemy uses to destroy the family and parent/child relationship. God is fighting for our children and expects us to fight for them as well. We are the leaders and examples to our family/kids and to others. We have to be prepared. Great book for parents who want to strengthen their relationship with their teen and to have a stronger family.

One of the best books on parenting I've ever read!

This is an amazing book for both parents and teens! Cary has something for each of us written right along side of each other. We used this as a Bible study that we went through as a family. It really brought my wife and I back into the battle for our children. The enemy is subtle, but God is our strength! Definitely a must read for every parent, especially of teens!

I highly recomend this book to any christian who is having a constant struggle dealing with Satan. It teaches about the tricks and deception satan uses every day to handicapp and ultimatly destroy the lifes of individuals and expecially teenagers. After revealing his deceptions it then equips you with the tools required to fight off satan and save not only your life but the life of those you might be ministering to, such as teenagers in a youth group.

This book was excellent! Perfect for the family. My family read it together last year, and then I read it by myself just recently. I highly recommend it. You can never get enough books about the family.
