Should I Stay or Go?: How Controlled Separation (Cs) Can Save Your Marriage

Rate this book
Until now, couples facing the dilemma of deciding whether or not to stay in an unhappy marriage had three options: individual or couples therapy, separation, or divorce. Should I Stay or Go? provides these couples with a fourth option--the Controlled Separation (CS). Should I Stay or Go? explains CS and shows how it can be used as a tool to help couples make the best decision for both partners.

Last night I leaned against someone's cellar door which opened and I tumbled backwards down 10 wooden steps. The incident sums up my current state of being. My head is pounding along with my heart. I know that there are ups and downs - an ebb and a flow in all relationships - but how long do you wait it out? How long do you hold on to a mutual and tangible misery? When does one say when? I just don't know. And scratch that statement I made last week about being done with the self-help genre.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read up to the chapter that said, "If you're married to a passive-aggresive, alcoholic, disloyal ASSHOLE, consider youself finished with this book and just GO". Done and Done.
