Laundry Letters

Merthur AU
Arthur found the note sitting atop a pile of his clothing, which had been neatly folded and stacked on the dryer in the communal laundry room.

I dried your clothes for you this time, but please keep in mind that others need to use the facilities. Also, that yellow shirt is heinous. I recommend burning.

Modern-day AU where Arthur and Merlin are attending the same university and living in the same residence hall.

Adorable how they meet first through snarky notes in the laundry room and then irl on campus.

Very sweet.

"Yes, greetings to you also, Benjamin. Pardon me if I don't reciprocate."

"Oi! Are you all right? I thought you looked like the sporty sort, but you're a bit on the clumsy side, aren't you?"

Damn Gwaine and his subliminal evil. Arthur always seemed to do stupid things whenever Gwaine was involved.
