This book kept me hooked and on my toes. I devoured it in one sitting. If you are into fairy tale spin-offs, this is perfect. Go read it today!!

A mix of little red riding hood, shes off to hide at her grandmas after someome starts threatening her to find out she has a wolf shifter stalking her after being cursed by a witch, but is her fated mate.

and then goldiclocks. When she gets there, she ends up finding 3 bear shiftera... ones, an asshole, ones a jokester, and one is just a little too serious... but they're also her fated mates.

She's an earth witch... with little to no power but has got a good weapon of castrating anyone who gets after her. And finds out her grandma has been hiding a lot of things from her. And she makes the most delicious mac and cheese and grilled cheese her mates have ever eaten 😂

It's chaotic and so many twists and turns and new elements you weren't expecting. But i absolutely loved it all. Small cliff hanger at the end that ties into the next book but also a HEA and definitely spice 🤤🤤

This isn’t your childhood little red riding hood story! Rhed isn’t your sweet little red from the fairytales. She is a take-no-prisoners ball buster who loves pointy things, and our bears are growly, protective and possessive!

I love the plot and all the little red riding hood themes. It was interesting and there were enough mysteries to keep you wanting more. Unfortunately, there is definitely some work to be done with the overall writing, in my opinion. For me, the writing was a bit all over the place, to the point where I found that it detracted from the story. However, the plot flowed nicely and the characters were interesting. Although Rhed’s story seems to be over, there are still lots of questions, so hopefully those will be answered in the next books in this series!

I enjoyed this, though I did find it a bit all over the place, it made more sense by the end on finding out that it is part of a larger world, carrying on in more books with new characters and crossovers. Loved Rhed, the ‘nutcracker’, she was sassy, loud and confident in her abilities, skills and sexuality. The bear brothers were cool, though there was quite a lot of them being unable to control their bears and getting tranq’ed, plus how they’ll all adapt to the whole money thing that goes along with Wolfie . I’m interested to see where they go with this, so I’ll be checking out the next book.

This story was chaotic and wild... it kept you on an adventure the whole story. Rhed is quite the funny character... she stands her ground and doesn't let anyone push her around which she'll need for her mates .. rhed has quite the mystery to solve and hopefully her mates can help her. Not to mention we have a mystery bad guy and a mystery wolf on the loose. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time... I can't wait for book 2 because I need more. The writing and world building in this book are amazing the author really knows how to draw you in with her writing she makes you feel immersed into the world

Fairy tale Mashups

Finding Rhed is a mash up of Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It makes for a very intriguing storyline that hooks you in until the last page.

Rhed goes for a check-up on grandma when she runs into three bears. They turn out to be her mates. They are grouchy, grabby, and very possessive, and they work her over very easily. Then in comes the wolf. He is a whole other twist and is being hexed by a witch.

This book has lots of twists and turns, and the amount of chaos that happens is insane. It does end open-ended with a kind of hfn, but I really would like to see where this story does go.

A fairytale mashup retelling, the right amount of spice, a kick-ass FMC (literally, you do not want to meet Rhed in a dark alley), and three to die for MMCs, and you’ve got one unforgettable story on your hands. You get drawn in, and it’s a tense, whirlwind ride from start to finish that leaves you wanting more at the end. (Totally not sitting here dyyyyying for book 2)! I loved getting to know the characters, they’re unique and complex. Not what I was expecting when I picked up a red riding hood retelling, in the best way. If you enjoy retellings that spice things up and turn things on their head, then you’ll want to snag this and drop it at the top of your TBR!

Finding Rhed is the first book in The Fusion Fable Series written by Elie Waters and M.A. Destiny.

💜 fairytale retelling
💜 fated mates
💜 mysteries
💜 witches, wolves, and bears, oh my!
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice

Rhed feels like someone is out to get her. But, why would they want to take her out? She’s just a low level Kitchen Witch with barely any powers. With one last surprise, and not in a fun way, she decides to high tail it to her gram’s house. What ensues is a whirlwind or events that she never saw coming.

This was a fun take on a couple of fairytales. Rhed is sassy and is not afraid to defend herself when needed. I think the world building was good. You can tell that there is a lot that is happening in other parts of this world when the events of this book is taking place. I’m looking forward to seeing the other stories that come out in this world.

This was an interesting retelling mash-up of Red Riding Hood & Goldilocks. Rhed was very sassy & stäbby lol. The way to her heart is thru food (same) & she can’t cook well (sometimes same) but at least her men can cook (also same lol). Her grandma passed on her nut obsession but hey, it works. Not really satisfied with that ending though. It said that was the end for Rhed & her men but I feel her grandma’s ending would be with Rhed in it but I guess we’ll see with the next book.

An interesting twist on mixing Little Red Riding Hood with Goldilocks and the Three Bears. From the scene descriptions to even character names, the melding of stories is fun to read.
Rhed is a strong and sassy MFC and is well trained in fighting. She loves pointy stabby things.
Her interactions with her guys made me laugh, worry, feel comforted and curious about what will happen next.
Danger is following her and she doesn't know why.

This book isn't adult version mix between Goldie locks and little red riding hood. You have a witch, who's going to her grandmother's house (in the forest), and encounters her mates- 3 bear shifters and a wolf that is after her. There is a lot of nut punching, tranq gun usage and plenty of steamy scenes.

A really enjoyable and fun story that is a mixture of Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks. Rhed was hilarious, stabby and a nut grabber. Her bears were so likeable, sweet and with the addition of a wolf, their relationship with Rhed became so entertaining. Loved Gram and the twists. Looking forward to more books in the series.

2.5 ⭐ This book was odd. It was funny in parts but a lot of it felt like forced joviality. The ending felt rushed and unfinished particularly when it appears as if the story moves on to new characters. It also hinted at MM, with a particular shower fantasy but then that never materialised?? All in all an ok read but felt unfinished.

This book was a mix of Goldie locks and the three bears and little red riding hood but instead she ends up with the bears and the wolf. There was a lot happening but I was still interested in finding out what was going to happen.

This was a good PNR read. There’s witches, bears, wolves, and quite a few steamy scenes. I really loved the beginning of the book but I felt the ending was rushed a little bit and I still have so many questions. I’m glad we will see the characters in future books so maybe my questions can be answered.

I loved Rhed! She is a strong FMC and isn’t afraid of some shifters. She always stands up for herself and won’t back down. The guys just help her get even stronger.

If you enjoy PNR then definitely give this a read!

This was fun twist on the fairy tales!

Rhed was sassy and outspoken, it was great. The guys in the story - the three bears and a wolf - were crazy possessive and protective of her, but sweet with her, too.

This was an interesting, twisty and spicy read. I enjoyed it!

This was definitely a very interesting story. A bit chaotic to me, a bit all over the place but I really enjoyed the plot line though.

Rhed was just checking in on her grandma when she ends up running into 3 grouchy bears. Who she finds out are her mates.

There is a lot of arguing & a bunch of grabby hands. But she slowly yet eventually gives into their charms.

But then there is a wolf who is hunting her despite being hexed & also feeling the pull to his mate as well.

Chaos ensues with getting him & saving Rhed. It kind of leaves it open for who the bad witch was that was trying to nab Rhed. The ending was very open ended leaving room for more. I am rather curious as to what will happen next.

This was a pretty good read, Rhed’s sassy nature was pretty hilarious but part of me wished I saw more of their future together. But that’s just me I love a good epilogue.

Amazing job!
