I won this in a Goodreads giveaway.
The thing is, if this had just been a story about how a Christian woman's faith helped her get through the extensive and punishing treatment of kidney failure I would have literally no issue with it. But ultimately, that's not what this book is.
What this book is, is faith healing nonsense. And what's worse is that based on the author's own depictions: she experienced no miracles.
She broke a vertebra, which if she'd broken it severely enough could have killed her, but she didn't break it severely enough and she recovered from the break in a normal amount of time.
She didn't die, from her own depiction it sounds like she passed out in the CT scanner after a head injury and then woke up normally.
There's a lot of exaggeration and noticeable lying in the book which makes it very hard to believe any of the authors claims including those that I think are probably at least somewhat true.

I couldn't put it down!!
I read this book in one setting!! Heather's testimonies of God's presence and help in her life are compelling!! She is a hope dealer and a faith builder!! God's plan and purpose for her life ignites the fire to seek Him out at a deeper level. It's life and death for all of us because we have the same choices she had!! Thank you Heather!! And thank You God for putting it in my hands!!
