NOOOOOOOO WHY WAS IT SO SHORT 😭😭😭 I WANT MORE PLEASEEEEEE. we got a lot of questions answered in this but now i have even more questions because wth!?!?!?

en and iichi were again, cute af in this, and i'm so FREAKING HAPPY that a certain thing finally happened, iykyk 🫠

for a second there i thought it was going to end, but thankfully is said "continued in volume 4" or i was about to be REALLLL mad because i was not fully satisfied by the end. this volume didn't give me the same feelings as the other two, idk exactly what it was but i feel like i needed more. more from the couple and more from the plot.

This is SO GOOD. the emotional trials the characters each face at their unique phase of "eternity" as vampires is so well done. One of my favorite takes on vampires.

The art is so fucking good I can't handle it!! And god Ichii?? Gonna make me act up.

I got so worried towards the end of this volume because something about it felt like an ending and I was like no way? That can't be how it ends? But then I saw the to be continued and felt so relieved. I think now that it's getting further into the story the cracks are starting to show and the plot feels a bit messy. Personally I'm here for the art and the romance so I'm not bothered by it too much, but I do hope the next volume builds it a bit better. The stuff with Megi just felt resolved too quickly. But the relationship? I'm eating that shit up. I love En and Ichii so fucking much. I just felt like this volume went by so quick. I wanted more to happen, but now I patiently wait for the next one.

This wound was the entrance for light.

I continue to really enjoy this manga, and as always, it's mostly because of the romance. This is only the third volume, and not a lot of time has passed, but the mangaka has done a great job of making me feel like En and Ichii are totally made for each other. They manage to inject so much personality and genuine feeling and bits of humour into even the simplest scenes. Ichii is turning into a fave, even though there's so much we still don't know about him. I love that he's so kind and soft to En, when everything makes you THINK he's going to be a boring typical alpha top. I've said it before, but I really appreciate that they don't turn into different characters during the sex scenes. It's always sweet and sexy and funny in ways that feel particular to them.

I will say, sometimes I just have to run on vibes with this manga, because I'm not always able to tell what's going on? Something about how the composition style clashes with the art. I sometimes have trouble figuring out what I'm looking at, with the way things are boarded. Especially during sex scenes. At one point I just had to give up. But it was fine; it didn't really impact my enjoyment.

The plot stuff was interesting. A little harrowing for a while there, but thankfully Ichii came to the rescue. I hope we get more scenes with En and the other vampires/human families. I think I need to reread the first two volumes, because I kinda forget some of the side characters. The villain isn't very interesting to me yet, but hopefully that'll change soon. Looks like the next volume will give some answers, and some worldbuilding on vampirism. I look forward to it!

I think this might officially be my fave bl manga... I just love them so so so much I love their dynamic i love the world I love all of the characters UG

I think this is the end of Ichi/En's story, though I think its going to continue with other characters?? I'll probably pick it up but I loved this ending for I/E <33

honestly, i rarely give 5 stars to the manga, because i find it a bit subjective and it ont really like books, hopes you get me UNLESS I loved it above all, especially the whole series, like now ???

first, when i read the erotic tag i was already at the end of my life, because it was going to be like the other full smut bl to embarrass me and make me fall asleep on it, but i tried because the art is still INCREDIBLE just look at them. and even more when they tell us that they were vampires

AND GUESS WHAT?? THAT’S ACTUALLY A MASTERPIECE??? even the erotic scenes, it's okay, it's not their weird scenes and, they even the thing to their relationship

THE STORYTELLING, I’M IN LOVE??? i was really into it, and i was having a really good time trying to understand and everything, honestly i really liked it
anyway, let’s wait for the volume 4!

I am both excited and sad to have read this. It was great but not enough at the same time and to know that I will likely have to wait another TWO years to read the next volume??? This is unjust.

**Some Spoilers**

Still too many things to be revealed, but many were explained. We saw Ichii past (a part of it) and how he was part of a harem where he was used by a vampire for 50 years(30 years already passed from that time now). We don't know if he was also sexually abused in there, but his "master"(Megi) wasn't kind and for sure drank his blood and hurt him physically. He was able to escape by poisoning his master, but in doing so, he condamned his fellow companions in the harem to death, bcs that man sucked them dry to heal himself from the poison. This vampire it seems was the one who not only turned Ichii, but also EN. More things were revealed at the end of this volume, and we saw two characters we know well, go to Megi and delete his memories. They are the blonde/silver and dark haired couple we saw at the start of Fangs, and it seems they are Captain and Highness(don't know if prince or king).

Interesting, waiting for volume 4.

Ichii and EN get mated.

4.5 stars bcs this plot was a bit boring, but still seemed too short.

A lot of questions get answered in this volume, which was nice to see but also left me with a few more. I'm glad the relationship between En & Ichii finally came together to what it was building to since book one. I found this well placed in the story, not too rushed, but I also wasn't rolling my eyes that they just don't become a pair already. Got to learn more about the incident 30 years ago and more on Ichii because of that which was also nice to get a little bit of the mystery revealed and made for the moment of them becoming a pair more impactful. Was nervous with how the loose ends got tied so neatly at the end that it would be the final book but I was glad to see there will be more! Excited for the next one.

Once again, I absolutely adore En and Ichii! Their devotion to each other is the heart of this series and watching En genuinely want to understand Ichii and his history is so heartwarming.

Many of the questions I had from earlier volumes finally get addressed and we see significant character development, especially as En and Ichii’s bond deepens in meaningful ways. 

That said, this volume also left me with even more questions! Like many other readers, I found myself craving more!! More plot progression, more romance moments and more time with this pair.

Another strong cliffhanger to keep me on my toes!

Obwohl die Story hier ENDLICH anfängt, ist sie auch MEGA schnell wieder vorbei òó und irgendwie bin ich sauer, weil es nach viel Drama klang - das hätte man so schön ausführen können, hielt aber nur ein halbes Kapitel, bis Ichii zur Rettung kam, damn it.
Ich bin gespannt, ob wirklich noch ein 4ter Band kommt

Yes… YES!!! I have nothing more to say. And thank God, we still have a sequel coming. I’m never getting tired of this series. Ehem, Fangs is being even more defined in this volume.

Something about the language in this series still feels weird. Is it the translation, or is the writing itself trying to be ultra-poetic and coming out stilted? I'm getting the impression (from the author's note as well) that it's the latter, and it's starting to annoy me.

For example:

What is immortality? His Highness says, "Immortality is a curse." But human flesh is weaker than a curse. Immortality comes with a curse over time, but some lives fade away without even being granted time. The race of humanity who suffered and agonized, gained knowledge instead of scales. And with that knowledge, they created scales.

?????? What do half of those words even mean? What on earth are scales? Is this a term introduced earlier that I've forgotten, or something we're supposed to find out later? Or just...fancy language that doesn't mean anything.

The heavy emphasis on keeping things Mysterious is frustrating me as much as it does En. One of my least favorite narrative choices is withholding information from characters (and readers) simply to drag things out. There are bits and pieces of the backstory unfolding in this volume, but various characters keep cutting themselves off partway through an explanation just to drag it out for longer. Poor En, honestly...all he wants is for people to be honest with him, but he keeps getting dragged into situations where he has no context and no control.

At least we're finally learning a few things. My theory about who bit En was wrong, and this version definitely makes a ton more sense. Megi sired both Ichii and En, something like 80 years apart? And in both cases, he was trying to build a "harem" of vampires he could use to do his bidding and purify his blood. Although I still don't really get what his endgame is...he's trying to make a whole bunch of vampires so he can turn himself back to human? If he wants to die so badly, can't he just walk out into the sunlight? Why do they keep talking about being so immortal they simply cannot kill each other or die, when one of the main characters lost his partner to sunlit suicide? (And I guess alcohol poisons them, too?)

Ichii spent 50 years suffering under Megi's control, doing horrific and unnamed things without any real free will of his own. He eventually escaped by committing his own atrocity, mass-poisoning the 100-strong harem of vampires who'd been just as trapped as he was, in a failed attempt to take out Megi. That...sort of doesn't make sense the way it's ultimately explained, either, because in order to make Ichii less of a villainous character, it turns out to be Megi who found the poison and then killed all of Ichii's vampire brethren in order to punish him. But why would Megi destroy his entire power source for that?

Then the "Highness" reveal, and the way it sounds like this volume might've closed out Ichii and En's story, while we're going to move into a bigger worldbuilding storyline in Volume 4...this series has lost a lot of my interest.

The art is nice, and I liked Ichii confessing his love to En. That was sweet. But a lot of this volume just didn't hold up for me.

I'm starting to realize maybe vampire stories aren't really my thing. I'm seeing a trend of trying out one-shots or series, being really intrigued by the art and initial setup, then not liking the cobbled-together path the worldbuilding takes. This one's disappointing, though, because I hadn't expected the answers in this volume to turn out quite so frustrating and dull.

3/3.5 stars. Maybe because it's been a bit between the 2nd and 3rd, but this series lost a bit of luster for me. So much world building and backstory, then smexy relations that was not engaging for me. Maybe because I just read a romance where even the scene I ended up skipping part way through was more interesting. I perhaps am not in the mood to be distracted or entertained in that way. For those who are interested specifically for that, it's about a chapter long (or felt like it). And, it felt like a good ending. More wrapped up than so many manga series, but there is to be another? There were reveals at the end but unless the story drops the two leads to shift more towards the other characters, I'm probably out. There was also an ickiness factor in one of the leads constantly being described as new, pure, and innocent that reeked more strongly of virgin is better vibes that also made it a bit less enjoyable. It gave a bit of ick. I am remembering it was throughout the first two volumes as well, but mood, life, world change may have that trope be a bit more grating or icky now. Especially with the seemingly less than active agency the "innocent" one has around the others who are interested. Something about his body being "their choice" that just doesn't feel like escapism right now.

I don’t even know where to start, this volume was so freaking good it got me craving for more and more.

I understood well where both En and Ichii were coming from so the fact their communication issue was resolved here made me unbelievably happy.

All the characters in this story are so dear to me. They have different backgrounds, different ways to show love, different families and in the end, they all come together for the greatest cause. I love themmm.

The ending though, I need more, I can’t believe we have to wait for more but I’m excited.

Y lo mejor es que siempre nos dejan enseñanzas. En esta ocasión nos toco enfrentar la soledad y como se debe enfrentar el dolor. Ha sido muy bonito ver como los protagonistas conectan de nuevo, aunque para ello siempre deben pasar por varios obstáculos.

what a perfect volume. we get some angst, the male leads finally being a pair, and more lore about them vampires. i honestly thought this would be the last volume given the tone of the last scenes, but it said to be continued in volume 4 so. PLS RELEASE THE NEXT VOLUME PLS
