A short, sweet, fluffy read
If you need a palate cleaner, this will do the trick. It's a short book, mostly fluffy, and the guys are all in when it comes to the FMC.
Lena is a bunny shifter whose life has been pretty great. She has supportive brothers, lives in a beautiful, quaint little village... however, when she was young, her parents were killed by a group of humans who go after shifters. Ever since, she's been reluctant to let anyone too close to her for fear of losing them as well. Even any potential mates.
Two wolf shifters and two dragon shifters have decided that Lena is the one for them. Their mate. They're hurt that she doesn't seem to acknowledge it, however. Finally, they decide to push her about it more and hope it doesn't backfire! They know she's skittish, but they're determined to make her theirs.
I read this book first since I saw it can be read as a standalone. I was left with some questions after reading, but it didn't really take away from the story. It just left me a little confused on some points. After going to the first book on Amazon and reading the blurb, I see they would have been answered if I had read it first.
The timeline of the two books overlap, I assume, as Lena gets a call from one of her brothers in this book, explaining he's found their mate and is bringing her over. Meanwhile, the first book (Voiceless) is about her brothers and their mate, Colette.
SUMMARY: If you want to read them in order, it'll probably make more sense! If you don't, you'll still be able to follow along! You'll just be missing some details. If you enjoy shifter romances, fated mates, and even some knotting, this will suit you just fine!
