Easy read. Finished in 12 hours or so. Wish there was more chemistry between laya and Niko. Since there wasn’t full communication with them at first - it was hard to see that passion. Definitely interested in the next book to hear more about her story. I feel like that will be my favorite one yet
Kindle Unlimited: Yes Stand-alone: Yes*** Sisters of Wrath Book 2 Author: Sienna Snow Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Spiciness Rating: 3.5/5 🌶 POV: First Person Dual Perspective Main Couple: Layana and Nikolas Trope(s): Interconnected Series, Dark Mafia, Marriage of Convenience
Influence is Book Two in the Sister of Wrath Series. Sienna does a thorough job that this book could possibly be read as a standalone, but I would not recommend it. I think to get the full scope of this series you will need to read the books in order. Unlike with Legacy, Influence does not end with any type of cliffhanger. I struggled to connect with Layana as the FMC. Sienna’s ladies are strong, independent, and a force to be reckoned with. Laya is all these things plus fiercely protective of her sisters. I am enjoying the storyline of the Vitalis sisters and them reclaiming their heritage and getting vengeance for their family. Nikolas is a good fit for Laya. Their story does not feel as intense as the Legacy. And, the ending felt abrupt to me. However, I did enjoy reading Influence and watching the sisters plan move forward.
Layana Vitalis is on a mission with her sister’s to reclaim what was stolen from their family when their father was murdered. They have moved out of hiding back to Greece. They are aligning with strong families as they marry for the greater purpose.
Laya had already chosen Nikolas, but when he stepped up in Legacy to help them find Cali when she was abducted. His Italian mafia ties will add to their growing power.
Nikolas lost his mother and sister five years ago in a car bombing meant for his father and him. An arranged marriage is what he feels he needs because he never intended this to be a love match.
However, their connection is intense and powerful.
As they deal with the animosity coming from his useless brothers, the men in the syndicate who cannot let go and take ownership of their actions, their relationship blooms.
But, neither one of them counted on love being on the table.
This book is a continuation of an overarching plot line. But with its own couple. Niko and Layana have an arranged marriage.
What is meant to be a business transaction quickly turns into a full blown marriage. Layana is inexperienced in all ways. And that takes the focal point for much of the book. Once they take their relations up further it felt like an insignificant moment.
This book also deals a lot with Avra. Which is the FMC from the first book. Sometimes I had the thought that it was still her book with her taking front and center in moments and Layana appearing as more of a side character.
It was a good addition to the series. And brought to light more issues from the past and ongoing storyline. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
I received an ARC for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
ARC Review This was a very fast read, I think it took me maybe 3 hours. I don’t remember what caught my eye when I applied for the ARC but I think it was because of the Greek mythology. Since I love Greek mythology I was like yes, I would like to read immediately. It had a lot more references to it than I thought and I loved it to so much! It was very fast paced, didn’t drag, and I was having a good time through all of it! Will this book be for everyone? Probably not but I really enjoyed it! I loved Nikolas though. This man was dedicated all the way and was not sharing from the very beginning which was hella sexy. Also the woman in this book are so badass! I didn’t have beef with any of the characters!
Mafia romance with a Golden Retriever Greek Don! Niko was a sweetheart from the get go with a heart of gold. Laya was a self assured, strong woman who was looking for the perfect man to be by her side through an arranged marriage. The traumatic background of Laya was so deeply entwined in the dynamic of the growing relationship between her and Niko. Such a sweet story of love prevailing!
I cannot STAND the repetitive writing, the horny FMC and the horny MMC who are supposed to be cold. If the plot is so easy, what is the point? Where is the angst and yearning? The book is just an extension of the insufferable writing from book 1. Yes I know Avra is so strong and cool and badass and Layana has emerald green eyes, stop saying it three times in one PARAGRAPH. Jesus Christ. I DNFed at 7% because this genuinely feels like just Avra and Eli from book 1 rewritten with a little tweaks.
"Could it be that he (her Godfather) had influenced her decision?" OBVIOUSLY?? She grew up with him? You think she likes you? 😭 Is this supposed to be an intelligent character? What is this thinking process??
"It was something primal" Is he in heat, do you wanna be neutered?? how do you feel this by just looking at someone attractive?? Knowing damn well this isn't some normal marriage but a business transaction-
Sigh, they don't even write good angsty books anymore. The writing is giving me a headache - it's TELLING not showing. It's repetitive. The characters are repetitive, and I really wanted to read book 3 but not anymore.
Influence is book two of the Sisters of Wrath series by Sienna Snow, all set in Greece. The Vitalis sisters have a revenge plan to win back their family’s legacy and part of it involves each of them committing to an arranged marriage. This time we have Layana Vitalis and Nikolas Galanis in an intense and steamy story of undeniable attraction. Can she face the challenge and sacrifice her life to reclaim everything stolen from them. Loyalties will be tested, family drama brings serious consequences and as the couple fight for power the passion explodes between them. Is the love they feel worth the risk or will it be a weakness they can’t afford and just make them both more vulnerable to their enemies.
"When you entered my world, you became mine, Laya. Marriage is just a formality."
Layana choose Nikolas because she couldn’t ignore the attraction to him when they briefly met as he helped them rescue Cali so she saw him as an ally in their pursuit of power. Sister Avra and her new husband Elias along with Vik accompany her to meet him at his estate. She is hopeful her union will make her as happy as Avra is with Eli, who are totally in love with each other. She knows it is only a business arrangement but she finds him dangerously irresistible. The moment their eyes meet again, the desire burns bright. She moves into his beautiful house ready for the wedding and takes Calista with her, hoping the change of scenery will help her heal after her traumatic abduction.
He was captivated by her the first time he saw her, she was beautiful but lethal and formidable. Now he is finding it difficult to resist her. He’s confused and feels emotions he hasn’t felt before. He reminds himself their marriage is what he needs to do for the future of the Galanis legacy. He’s determined the relationship won’t involve love because he refuses to experience loss like his father did when his mother and sister were killed in car bomb.
Both an enigma to the other. Both mysterious with layers and secrets to unravel. She is surprised to uncover a deep rooted connection between their families. She knows the reasons behind her choosing him but why with his wealth and status has he agreed to marry her? They are both shocked by the undeniable attraction and chemistry sizzling between them. It gets very steamy and loud when they give into the passion especially when he starts teaching her all he knows. His two younger brothers start to cause him more problems than usual. They jealous of his position as godfather of the family and furious he marrying a Vitalis.
The marriage goes ahead and they have a wonderful honeymoon but come back to the reality of the consequences of the sisters revenge. Will the old men of the syndicate ever accept the sisters especially after they sought retribution. Will Nik accept his feelings for Laya and allow himself to love her? He is very protective over her but she is very independent due to what she has been through and fights him to be an equal in their relationship. Avra and Laya really hold their own when up against the men who betrayed their father. Loved how Eli and Nik had to admit how proud they were of their wives.
Frightening ending especially for poor Nik, when danger comes from an unexpected source. There are further startling revelations but wonderful news at end. I felt this book concentrated on the couple’s relationship and the sisters plan was more in the background. Intrigued now over what will happen in Cali’s story as she wants revenge against her captors and all three sisters know retaliation for their actions is going to come.
Layana is a Vitalis, the second oldest in her family. Her duty has always been to her family and her sister Avra and Cali. It’s time for the Vitalis sisters to make a comeback, to claim there birthright, what is rightfully there’s after there fathers murder.
To claim back there territory and solidify her family’s strength Layana enters into a marriage of convenience with Nikolas Galanis. There meeting ignites feelings that both have not felt before. Their close proximity gives them the opportunity to learn about the other.
But Nikolas’s brothers have a different opinion, both living the jet setting lifestyle, there father knew that they weren’t cut out for the role of leadership, a burden Nikolas accepted and one he thrives on well, and it is clear that Layana made the right choice when it came to picking a suitor.
Pleasure and passion ignite, when Layana and Nikolas give into both their desires and their feelings, claiming Layana’s virtue, and in the process many of her firsts. Following there wedding and honeymoon, Layana becomes immersed and entangled in Nikolas’s world a world she’s fighting to reclaim.
It’s evident from Layana’s interactions with Nikolas’s brothers that she can definitely hold her own, her quick whit and smart mouth giving her a deadly edge. But when an assasination plot against the Vitalis sisters is revealed does Nikolas take action, only to his detriment not involving his wife in the proceedings of the meeting that was called proves that both Layana and Avra have not only the influence to control the narrative but a steadfast voice that clearly indicate that the Vitalis sister’s will rightfully prevail on the backbones of those who sought to destroy there family.
Nikolas clearly underestimated his wife’s strength and resilience. She wields power and is a force to be reckoned with. When she is confronted by Nikolas’s brothers whilst on an outing with Cali, there recklessness causes Layana to be injured, forcing Nikolas to make a decision to safeguard his family and in doing so leads to a surprise that Layana and Nikolas never expected.
Overjoyed by the news of Layana’s pregnancy, Nikolas has everything he could want. The love of his wife, a future for their child and a legacy his parents and sister would be proud of.
All things business Layana and Nikolas are equals, but in the bedroom Nikolas owns Layana’s heart, mind, body and soul. He is dominant, controlling and possessive. The way these two unraveled for each other was perfect and on point.
Recommend both the author and the book. Now onto book three - Power - Calista and Leon’s story and the final book in there story.
I received an ARC. Therefore, I am submitting a voluntary review.
"In the embrace of shadow and passion, I’d found my sanctuary. This was no ordinary love—our union was forged in darkness and tempered by desire. As the night deepened, I resolved to be the steadfast guardian of our fierce and tempestuous bond. This love illuminated even the bleakest corners of our twisted, beautiful existence."
I love Niko so much, and I also admire how protective he was of Laya and her family. My favourite scenes of the book are that when Laya matched Niko's energy, she's a badass perfect for Niko's cold image as a leader. The turn and twists of events were amazing, and I'm still in suspense if Niko will ever learn of the real cause of his mother and sister.
Niko's reaction to being called dramatic was the highlight for me😂:
“I suppose I should have been even more dramatic.
You should always have an army by your side, my love. If I had sent even more guards to protect you, none of this would have happened. But rest assured, this will never happen again. Not only will you be surrounded by a battalion of well-trained fighters, but you will never leave my sight. I promise to protect you to the very end if I have to.”
Ouh, and did I mention how overprotective he's?!🤭:
“I believe you misunderstood something, darling. They were going to be there whether you agreed or not. I protect what’s mine. I apologize if you thought my offer of protection was a request for permission. You are mine. Therefore, Galanis soldiers will accompany you wherever you go. See you soon, my love."
The whole aspect of the Sisters fighting back for what is rightfully theirs is very vital in this book and I love how the author captures it and brings it together, seeing how the Sisters are working together with the partners was just amazing!🖤. And the spice gossshhh. Niko and Laya can't keep their hands on each other "they're like rabbits" as Cali said!
Tropes: ✔️Dark Mafia ✔️Arranged marriage ✔️Marriage of Convenience ✔️Possessive alpha hero ✔️Virgin heroine ✔️Touch her and die ✔️Only soft for her ✔️Powerful heroine ✔️Overprotective MMC ✔️Surprise Pregnancy
After reading Legacy, the first book in Sienna Snow's Sisters Of Wrath trilogy, which was completely captivating, there was no way I was going to miss out on INFLUENCE. An enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, forced proximity, possessive hero, feisty heroine, dark romance, which was filled with secrets, betrayal, vengeance, action, and an unexpected love keeping me on the edge of my seat.
Layana, the second of the three Vitalis sisters, agrees to a marriage with Nikolas Galanis, a man she considers her enemy. Nikolas is powerful, dominant, a man who takes no prisoners, and totally swoonworthy. Laya is feisty, independent, strong willed, and pushes Nikolas more than he is used to, yet he admires and respects her for the way she stands up for herself. The chemistry between them is so far off the charts it burns, their banter was fantastic, and their spice was ... oh la la ... volcanic. As they spend time together, they grow closer but there are enemies out to stop their union. Who are those enemies, and are they closer than Laya and Nikolas think?
Once again, INFLUENCE was non-stop, action, drama, suspense, intrigue, and spicy, a superb addition to this series. The three sisters, Avra, Layana, and Calista are a fierce combination, a force to be reckoned with. I love that Sienna Snow has delivered such strong, determined, and self-reliant women, ones who are not afraid to speak their opinions or act when they need to. It takes a strong man to be able to love a woman like that, and Nikolas is just the man.
Calista's story, Power, is up next and I can't wait to meet the man who is good enough for her.
Sienna Snow always gives us incredibly smart, capable, tough women who are also kind, beautiful and interesting. The Vitalis sisters are definitely all these things. Influence, Layana's story, is full of action as the opposing families try to retain the things they stole from the Vitalis family. Layana, like her sister Avra from the first book in this series, has selected a man to marry who can help her regain the family stolen influence, business, lands, etc. Her arranged marriage is all about the business and being in a position to exact revenge on others. Love isn't part of any of her life plans.
Laya is as adept at her sister. She's smart, savvy in the ways of the world they were born into and driven. Niko is a good match. He'll use his own pieces of their worlds to assist her, she hopes. It doesn't hurt at all that he's also super smart, a great business man and HOT. She and Cali, who needs to recover from her abduction and abuse in book one, Legacy, move into Niko's amazing mansion once the wedding is agreed to. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, Laya realizes she's got it bad for her husband. The relationship progresses quickly through their mutual attraction and respect.
After a beautiful wedding and amazing honeymoon on Niko's private island, the two must return to real life and deal with the threats to the Vitalis sister's. The men who killed their parents and stole their businesses and land are incredibly misogynistic. As they demean and underestimate the sisters they are soon proven to be the fools they are. Much blood is spilled, power is hard won.
It's been great to watch these women grow into their roles. They've been well prepared by Vik but now they are tested and their resolve must prove up to the task at hand. They shine. Love and happiness were not part of the plan and yet Laya, like Avra before her, finds both in the man she's picked for her husband. They may have been raised ready to fight hard but they really have to learn to love and be loved. It's super rewarding to the reader to follow.
Influence is complex, intense and touching all combined. It was a very good read.
💍Book 2 in the Sisters of Wrath series and BABE, Layana did not come to play. She came to marry a mafia king, reclaim her family’s empire, and look lethal while doing it.🖤👑
What you need to know: 🖤 Marriage of convenience 🔥 Greek Mafia x Italian Mafia alliance 🖤 Virgin heroine x Possessive antihero 🔥 “Only soft for her” vibes 🖤 Touch her and die 🔥 FEASTS on the tension 🖤 Emotional slow-burn under all that smutty fire
Layana Vitalis is every bit the strategic queen I hoped she’d be. Cold when she needs to be, warm for exactly no one… until Nikolas Galanis.
She handpicked him for power, for position, for vengeance. But whew, when that man opened the door? It was over for her. And for me.🫠
Nikolas is dangerous. A brutal, calculating mafia don who runs his empire with sharp suits and sharper daggers.
But for Layana? He’s overprotective, obsessed, soft(ish) and completely unprepared for how deep this connection goes.
Their banter? 🔥 The chemistry? Volcanic. The bedroom scenes? Depraved in the BEST way & the whole staff and sister hear it. Their enemies? Dropping like flies.☠️
But this book isn’t just about passion. It’s about power. Loyalty. Control.
Watching Layana and Nik navigate this marriage turned partnership turned-oh no we’re in love was SO satisfying. And the layers?? Babe, we’re peeling back family secrets, trauma, and betrayal, one steamy, heart-wrenching chapter at a time.
Also, can we talk about how Nik gets called dramatic and immediately sends an army to shadow her every move like, “Sweetie, I’m not asking, I’m protecting my wife.” SIR. I folded.🫨
And Layana? She holds her own. She dares to challenge him. To lead beside him. To love without losing herself. It’s giving Beauty and the Beast: Mafia Edition and I am so here for it.
✨Final Thoughts: Avra walked so Layana could dominate.
Nik is a cold blooded king with a bleeding heart for one woman. And this book? It’s war, it’s lust, it’s everything.
And Cali’s story is coming next?? 🖤 I am not ready.
This is the second brilliant story in Sienna Snow's "Sisters of Wrath" series but it can totally be read as a standalone. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" could have been written for the Vitalis sisters. Forced to leave the country of their birth after the brutal murder of their parents they were given intensive training in martial artsby faithful, loyal Vik, they were trained to stand up for what they know was right and they were now back in Greece to regain the territory that was stolen from them and avenge their parents deaths. Avra, the eldest was now happily in an arranged marriage, and very much in love with Eli, this formed an alliance with the Xenos family, it was now Leyana's turn to strengthen the family by marrying Nikolas Galanis, a powerful Greek who had ties to the Italian mafia and a reputation of being ruthless. Laya had seen another side to Niko when he helped rescue Cali, the youngest of the Vitalis sisters when she had been kidnapped and put through hell, Avra and Laya were very protective toward Cali. An arranged marriage to Niko Galanis could have its perks, the fact that he looked like a Greek God helped. Layana Vitalis was beautiful, she was feisty and Nilo was magnetically attracted to her instantly, she would be his, love didn't come into it, he couldn't fall in love, everyone that he had loved had died, this couldn't happen to the beautiful Laya. This story follows Laya and Niko as they succumb to love and a passion that is combustive. Niko, Eli and Vik stand with the sisters as they bravely face danger whilst fighting the unscrupulous men who have stolen their land and vowed to eliminate the girls. This is a gripping story that give you a peep into the lives of the mafia families, their laws, their traditions and their unstinting loyalty. I received a free ARC for this book and my review is totally voluntary.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Sisters of Wrath Series. It is the story of Layana and Nikolas. My first thought was oh my goodness these character's all live in Greece. How amazing that would be. But I guess when your from a small town anywhere seems amazing to you. But something about the Greek setting just called to me. I was the same way with the first book. Since these books are all about sisters and their revenge you might want to read the first book too. It is equally as amazing. But, you don't have to read it before reading this book. Layana is on a mission to win back her family legacy. Each sister has to commit to an arranged marriage. Layana though chooses Nikolas. When Cali had to be rescued, she could feel the attraction she had to him. He could make an ally in their mission to get back the power their family once had. Nikolas is a man who has to have control in all things. He is the king of the Greek Mafia, demands respect and control in everything in his life. Though he can't seem to deny that attraction he had to Layana when he first met her. Agreeing to this arranged marriage she moves in with him and not only are the sparks flying but there are also things that are out of their control. Loyalties are tested, Family drama happens with serious consequences. She is one a mission and he is the man large and in charge. He is also a man that watched his father fall in love and when he lost it it was devastating. He is not about to go through what his father did and refuses to fall in love. I don't want to say more about the story and give something away. But I devoured this book. I loved these characters and the passion that they had not only for each other but for the things they believe in. They are really perfect for each other.
Tough, righteous women take on their world. After the murder of their parents, the three young Vitalis sisters were whisked away to safety in Prague. While hidden from their enemies, they were trained with military precision to one day strike back against the traitors. Fifteen years later, the sisters are back and ready to reclaim what belongs to the Vitalis Family. In Book One, Avra Vitalis has wed Elias Xenos, the head of the Xenos Mafia. In this story, Book 2, Layana Vitalis has chosen to wed Nikolas Galanis, also a powerful mafia leader. Niko’s base is an extensive and prestigious family vineyard, and it will become Layana’s home as well. Niko and Laya soon find their arranged marriage is going to work out well for them. They like and respect each other, and the sex is HOT! HOT! HOT! Nico likes to think he’s the “boss” because he’s a man, but he’s shown quickly that Laya will only be bossed in the bedroom. Turns out… that’s ok. The sisters' return incites the traitors who are responsible for the slaughter and takeover of the Vitalis Family holdings. Danger is everywhere, but the sisters plan to rain hell on the guilty and take back what were once the Vitalis holdings. The third sister, Calista, is recovering at her sister Laya’s new home. Her story will be featured in Book 3. I loved these three strong women. They never cowered, but instead, they were physically and mentally prepared for their comeback. Arva and Laya both chose wonderful husbands who decided to support their wives fully, and then fell in love with them. Niko is a good man and becomes a real asset for Laya. He does, however, come with two worthless brothers. This is a great series. Linda
Influence is Book 2 in the Sister of Wrath Trilogy. It's a standalone romance however i highly recommend you read the first book to get the full effect. 🖤Dark Mafia Antihero 🖤Arranged marriage /Marriage of convenience Forbidden love 🖤Possessive alpha hero & Virgin heroine Obsessive love 🖤Dark Beauty and the Beast Dynamic Found family 🖤Hero with a tragic past Redemption arc 🖤Forced proximity Touch her and die 🖤Only soft for her Hidden identities / secret pasts
This is Niko and Layana's story. An arranged marriage for the sole purpose of the sisters regaining their territories and power in the Greek Mafia. This trilogy is full of themes of loyalty, passion, and power. Niko and Layana believe in duty and protecting their family and their legacy. They expect to fight along side each other to claim (and reclaim) what is rightfully theirs. However, what neither expected was actually falling in love with each other. And their love? Their love is their deadliest weapon of all. Similar to book 1, book 2 is full of intrigue, passion and action. However, i feel this story was far more emotional - so deep in describing their feelings, their thoughts. There are parts of the book where one of the MC's inner dialogue goes on for several pages before there is any conversation. This at times frustrated me as I was so eager to "just get to it", however it would have been a big injustice to appreciating the story if i had skipped over these parts. Niko and Layana are so gone for each other! Their passion and lust in palpable. Both demanding to be incharge, but in the bedroom, the rules are clear. Niko is the one and only in charge, and Layana is here for it.
We are also given foundation for Cali's story. The author does a beautiful job of honoring her trauma and giving her the time and space to heal. Niko may be a ruthless, murderous mafia man, but his compassion and understanding of what his siter-in-laws needs is beyond what you'd expect from him. He's so thoughtful and respectful.
I received a free ARC of this book and this review is only my opinion
So is Layana’s hair a deep chestnut red as described throughout the first half of the story or is it now “raven black tresses” as described at the 3/4 mark? Is Cali still Layana’s and Avra’s baby sister as she was in book #1 and the first 1/4 of this book??… or is she Niko’s sister as she’s referred to a few times in this book?!?…(Nokolas’ sister is supposed to be Cora). Ok, I realize these are editing issues but these mistakes took away any previously garnered enjoyment and influenced my rating. Does this Author’s proof-reader have more than a 6th grade education? According to the numerous editing errors, I’d say it’s doubtful. Anyway …moving on.
Three sisters; Avra, Layana, and Calista Vitalis, continue to plot their revenge for the murder of their parents and the theft of their legacy, land and childhood. Nothing will stand in their way and this author reinforces the severity of their vengeance perfectly. So Layana Vitalis travels to meet the fiancé that she’s been matched with; the marriage that will propel the next phase of the 3 sisters’ plot for revenge. Nikolas Galanis will become Layana’s husband and together with her sisters, they will attempt to recover everything that was stolen from them.
This second installment lacked the drama and intensity of the three Vitalis sisters’ goal of revenge. This second installment was less about their vengeance and all about the new relationship of Layana and Nikolas. It was a book inundated with sex and steam that overpowered any story trying to break through. It was boring and monotonous and forced me to skip pages upon pages of the same sex scene on steroids. The final chapter of much needed drama…. unfortunately was over as quickly as it happens.
Niko and Layana have entered the chat, and the steaks continue perfectly from book one!
This time, it’s Layana Vitalis and Nikolas Galanis caught in a whirlwind of desire and danger. Their attraction is undeniable, but for Layana, the stakes are higher than ever—reclaiming what was stolen may cost her everything. As loyalties fracture and family secrets erupt, the line between love and power blurs. With passion burning and tensions rising, they’ll risk it all in a high-stakes battle for control.
Layana will make a choice, Nikolas, not just because of their brief encounter during Calista’s rescue, but knowing he will be the power they need. With Avra, Elias, and Vik by her side, she arrives at his estate hopeful their marriage will bring her joy like Avra’s with Elias. Though the alliance is strategic, she can’t deny the strong pull she feels toward him. Their reunion sparks an undeniable flame. Settling into his grand home before the wedding, Layana brings Calista along, hoping the change will help her sister heal from her ordeal.
Her fierce beauty and dangerous presence caught his attention from the start. Though he’s never faced feelings like these before, resisting her is growing harder by the day. Still, he steels himself—this marriage is a calculated step to preserve the Galanis legacy.
INFLUENCE kept me hooked with nonstop thrills, drama, and some seriously hot scenes. The three sisters—Avra, Layana, and Calista—are a tough crew you don’t want to cross. Loved every minute of it!
This was my first book from this author but it will not be my last. I loved the way this author told her story. It was beautiful and emotional.
Layana and her sisters are very strong women. They have been away after their parents' deaths and come back home. Layana has chosen an arranged marriage to give her opportunities. She did not want to marry for love. Niko is chosen for the marriage. He is a strong man who is also great at business. She feels he will be able to protect her. She moves into his house and brings her younger sister Cali. Cali has been hurt and Layana wants protection for her. The bond between the sisters was amazing.
Layana and Nico have an immediate attraction. Their chemistry when they are together is so good. It is building up to the wedding. After the wedding they travel on their honeymoon. Nico shows her where he grew up and spent time with his family. He is opening up his heart to her. Layana begins to care for Nico and surprises herself soon after when she tells him how she feels. I love how their relationship evolved. I also loved how Layana stood up to Nico and let him know that she was not going to be bossed around.
This is an amazingly well-written story of two people who come together and fall unexpectedly in love. I highly recommend and look forward to more from this talented author.
Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.
I just finished reading Influence by Sienna Snow, and honestly? I didn’t expect it to hit this hard.
It starts off like one of those arranged-marriage mafia stories — but it’s so much more than that. It's dark, emotional, and filled with power games, control, and chemistry that almost burns off the page.
💔 The Characters
Layana: She's fierce. Smart, confident, and not afraid to challenge anyone — even the man she’s forced to marry.
Nikolas: Cold, powerful, the kind of man who’s used to being in control. But when it comes to Layana, even he gets shaken.
Their relationship? Not easy. It's full of tension, danger, and passion. They push each other’s limits in every way — emotionally, mentally, and sometimes even physically. But that’s what makes it feel so real.
There was this one moment — I won’t spoil it — but it made me stop and think: “Is this love, or war?” And maybe that’s the point. Sometimes, the two look exactly the same.
🔥 What I Loved
The power dynamic — it kept shifting.
The writing — smooth, intense, and emotional.
The secrets — layered and revealed just when you think you’ve figured it all out.
And that constant feeling of What’s going to happen next?
🦋 Final Thought
Sometimes, love isn’t about sweet moments. Sometimes, it’s about surviving each other
⭐ Rating: 4.5/5 🖤 For the pain 💘 For the tension 💥 For the power.

Layana Vitalis isn’t just marrying into power—she is the power. When she agrees to a strategic marriage with Nikolas Galanis, she doesn’t expect the smoldering attraction, scorching tension, and deadly loyalty that follow. 👑💣
This book gave everything I love in dark romance: 💍 Arranged Marriage 🇬🇷 Greek Mafia 🔥 Dominant but respectful MMC 💃 Tough-as-nails heroine 🖤 Enemies to Lovers vibes 🏚️ Hidden family secrets ⚔️ Strong sisterhood 💥 Epic takedowns + mafia politics
Layana and Nikolas are pure FIRE. Their chemistry is off the charts, their banter is razor sharp, and the way they trust and challenge each other?? Perfection.
📚 If you loved Natasha Knight, Rina Kent, or A. Zavarelli—you’ll devour this.
Influence is Book 2 in Sisters of Wrath series and what a fabulous addition to the series it is! After the murder of their parents, the three young Vitalis sisters were given new identities and hidden away in Prague and rumours spread that they had died. While they were in hiding in Prague they were highly trained in martial arts and plenty of other skills, always knowing that they will fight back against those who murdered their parents and stole their lands. Many years later, the sisters are back in the public eye, ready to claim the Vitalis lands and holdings that were stolen when their parents were murdered. Book 1 eldest sister married Elias Xenos the head of the powerful Xenos Mafia and now in Book two, middle sister, Layana has chosen to marry Nicolas Galanis, who is also the head of a very powerful Mafia family. Laya and Niko have absolutely sizzling chemistry and they just can’t keep their hands off each other! They are faced with danger, betrayal, twists, drama, friendships, family, loyalty and love giving you a captivating read that you will just fly through from the very first page until the last. I can’t wait to read Cali’s story in Book 3 I received an advanced reader’s copy via BookFunnel and I am writing this review voluntarily
Book 2 in the Sisters of Wrath Series is here and it was more than I could hope for. Sienna Snow again gives us a brilliant, strong and fierce FMC in Laya Vitalis.
Influence is the continuation of the Vitalis sisters taking back the power once stolen from them. Laya agrees to a marriage that will provide more influence and ease their return back into business. She chose Niko, who besides being a very influential man, is hot, confident and secretly a golden retriever.
Niko and Laya are truly the perfect match, not just in paper but in real life. Their chemistry is off the charts from the moment they meet. Their relationship although initially agreed would only be based on convenience, quickly develops into a respectful and caring one in which we see Niko tear anyone who would try to offend his wife.
Influence is beautifully written, all the characters are so well developed and the plot is engaging to say the least. Laya and Niko’s stance towards their relationship migrates to being a true power couple positioning themselves to fight any challenge thrown their way. I enjoyed following the Vitalis sister’s interactions, especially Cali, she would make me laugh every know and then.
Sienna did a fantastic job continuing this trilogy and I’m excited for book 3 where we’ll follow Cali’s story.
The Vitali sister continue to show strength. This is 2nd sister Lyra's story. She is the more serious sister and has never indulged in having fun. As they continue to strengthen their hold, she chooses Nikolai to be her husband and merge both families together. Nikolai likes the vineyard life he leafs but cn be ruthless when needed. He still has power when it's required. Unfortunately his 2 brothers are nothing like him. They're determined to ruin things for him and derail their marriage. They're very evil and jealous of Nik. He also was marrying for a business deal, he will not love because after losing his mum and sister he can't go through that kind of loss again. They both really do have intense chemistry. At 1st I felt their relationship was just s3x4ual. But as story went on their was more of a connection. This story wasn't as dramatic and action packed as the 1st book but there was plenty of twists. I loved how both Nik & Elias being such strong men in power give the same support and power to their women. They never dim their light.. I loved the outcome after a disastrous event. They both needed that. I was glad to see Cali becoming her cheery self again slowly. Will be interesting to see what happens in her story.
Book 2 in the Sisters of Wrath Series! Releases 06/06/2025.
Layana Vitalis isn’t walking into power—she embodies it. When she agrees to a marriage of strategy with Nikolas Galanis, she doesn’t expect the sparks to come with stakes this high. What starts as a cold alliance ignites into a fierce, passionate partnership that neither of them saw coming—and neither of them can afford to lose.
This book owned me. The tension? Electric. The chemistry? Lethal. The emotional payoff? Everything.
✅ Arranged marriage ✅ Mafia backdrop full of danger and depth ✅ A hero who’s powerful, dark, and still bows to no one—except her ✅ A heroine who is all bite, brains, and brilliance
What I truly appreciated was how Sienna Snow gave Layana and Nikolas the space to evolve together. While each book in this series focuses on a different sister, the interconnected storyline is masterfully woven—so yes, definitely start at book one to feel the full impact.
If mafia romance with complex characters, sharp power dynamics, and high emotional stakes is your thing, Influence delivers in spades. And trust me, what’s coming next? It’s going to be explosive. I’m ready.
“When you entered my world, you became mine, Laya. Marriage is just a formality.” “ I believe you misunderstood something, Darlene. They were going to be there whether you agreed or not. I protect what’s mine. I apologize if you thought my offer of protection was a request for permission. You are mine. Therefore, Galanis soldiers will accompany you wherever you go. See you soon, my love.”
“ in the embrace of shadow and passion, I’d found my sanctuary. This was the ordinary love – our union was forged in darkness and tempered by desire. As the night deepened, I results to be the steadfast guardian of our fierce and tempestuous bond. This love illuminated even the bleakest corners of our twisted, beautiful existence.” “I promise to protect you to the very end if I have to”
Niko was amazing so protective of Laya and her family. Niko and Laya are a power couple and complement each other well! And Laya so fierce and protective of her sisters! Loved the spice and they Niko and Laya couldn’t keep their hands to themselves 🥵
Dark mafia Touch her and ☠️ Marriage of Convenience Possessive alpha hero Virgin heroine Powerful heroine Only soft for her Overprotective MMC Surprise pregnancy
Book two is just as good as the first. Layana and Nikolas's story was non-stop and I couldn't keep myself from reading on any device within reach. I love these sisters so much. Their determination and strong will is so nice to read. Nikolas is just the man to handle Layana and their chemistry is off the charts! I enjoyed book two so much and I look forward to book 3 for Calista's story. ~Andrea
For an arranged marriage, Layana and Nikolas were perfect for one another. Honoring the sister's vow, Layana choose Nikolas to further help to bring the Vitalis power back to them. As Laya and Niko learn more about each other and their mutual passion for each other, the family heads are pushing to keep their territories. Niko's brothers are voicing their displeasure at Niko's choice in a bride. I love that the Vitalis sisters are all strong-willed women and should be feared. Laya and Avra are a force to be reckoned with when someone tries to stop them from doing what they want. The Galanis merger is one more step to taking control of their birthright. I enjoyed watching Niko and Laya hit their stride in life. I am anxious to see what is in store for Cali. ~Cindy

Thoughts: There was such passion between Laya and Niko, both in and out of the bedroom. I liked how Laya was a warrior in her own right but Niko still went above and beyond to keep her protected. The sisters were magnificent in taking back their birthright and mowing down any who opposed them. The partnerships between Laya and Niki and Elias and Avra showed them to be steadfast and loyal- the perfect team to rip back control from the betraying area heads. Be prepared for intrigue, vio!ence and growing love.

This series revolves around the three Vitalis sisters whose parents were murdered. They spent several years in hiding and have recently returned to home to get revenge. Technically can be a stand alone, but you will get more out of it if you read book 1, Legacy, first.
With the oldest sister, Avra, now wed to a powerful man, it is now Lyanna’s turn to do her duty and get married for convenience. She asks Nikolas Galanis;a respected vineyard owner and powerful man. He also has family connections that will come in handy on their quest for revenge.
Filled with strong characters, hot scenes, and a beautiful love story, Influence is not to be missed. I actually think I liked this better than book one. Laya is a fierce and intelligent woman. She seems innocent and shy at first but proves her strength for real. Niko is also a strong, brilliant character who proves he can handle a strong woman.
Ooh, am I loving this series. This story felt a bit different.
Layana is the second sister set to marry the leader of a Greek mafia. Sure it’s arranged but the spark that ignites between these two is undeniable. Nikolas (my favorite boy name) is like a quiet giant. He’s ruthless, sure, but he’s also incredibly kind and sensitive. When they married and take their honeymoon, you can see them finding small ways to open to each other, building that trust and bond. As they get closer, he learns of her revenge, learns about her plans with her sisters and is willing to help and support in any way he can. Sure the Vitali sisters want revenge against their enemies and take their rightful place in top..but who says you can’t find your HEA along the way.
This was such a romantic story. The slow build up, the explosive sex, very little actual drama, but a whole lot of tenderness under all of the violence, death, kickass-ness. This next story is going to be action packed. The sisters are so close to their goal, we can almost taste it.
