Somewhat crudely expressed, would have benefited from more descriptive prose.
Although the plot was sound, and could have been riveting, the writers limited reserve of descriptive prose became tedious. I read it, and will probably try to read the sequel, I wish the author would expand his own reading and vocabulary.
