This meet cute is absolutely adorable!
Jade is so independent and strong but she also has a sweet side to her and i loved watching her grow as a character throughout this book!
Beckett is a cutie pie and i love that he would do anything for jade. He really put in the work to prove to jade that he likes her.
This was adorable and such a great palate cleanser!

Jade is a single guardian to her sister Emma, one day Emma begs Jade to take her to a concert to see her favourite band. Even though Jade doesn’t really want to she agrees and her life changes forever. Enter Beckett, after catching a glimpse of the girl who has no idea who he is, he knows he needs her in his life.
This books is written perfectly, it’s short but not rushed, everything slots together perfectly, you get to know both Jade and Beckett and come to see how they fit together so perfectly. A perfectly paced, rockstar romance with a HEA. The perfect palette cleanser that you could read in one sitting but will be left wanting more. I couldn’t get enough of these two characters, it was incredibly refreshing that everything wasn’t “all or nothing” like it can be sometimes. Sometimes you really just need to read pure goodness to keep you going. Emma was also the perfect portrayal of a teenager and you can see the bond she has with her sister will never dim.

This books is written perfectly, it’s short but not rushed, everything slots together perfectly, you get to know both Jade and Beckett and come to see how they fit together so perfectly. How adorable is this meet cute.
Have you ever dreamed of being noticed in the sea of people at a concert? Personally picked out by the artists? That's exactly how Jades night goes
Beckett keeps finding ways to sink deeper into her life. Jade has real-life problems, and I think it's refreashing to see. she's caught up in everyday life without even realizing it. Beckett is a bit cheeky and a tad forward, but I guess you can't expect much else from a rockstar. It's nice to see them come together in a way that heals a little of the loneliness they both feel.
Overall, this was a light escape that I whirled through and exactly what I needed

This was a nice read. It's a short book with the perfect amount of romance and a palette cleaner.
Usually for such a short book I would be worried everything was so rushed and a lot of main details would be left out but surprisingly this books didn't do either of that. The pacing of the romance between Beckett and Jade was perfect. You got to see how their romance started and how it developed.
For a short book, you even get to know Jade's little sister as well and to know what she's like and how she feels towards Beckett.
In general it's such nice short book that didn't feel rushed at all.

This was just so sweet🥰
Rockstar meets normal girl, he falls first, and our FMC Jade is reluctant to let the relationship go anywhere as she focuses on being the sole caregiver for her younger sister after their parents passing.
But Mr Rockstar doesn’t give up😍 (Green flag) and it just becomes the loveliest wholesome little relationship 🥰
“Because you don’t look at me like I’m some famous rockstar, waiting to see how quickly you can get me into bed or spend my money. You look at me like I’m just… me. And I can’t remember the last time someone did that.”
And the Little sister- Emma, I love her. I was just like her at 14😂 honestly she had me laughing out loud!!

This is a super cute love story. Rock star meets a single mom(Guardian) raising her little sister after their parents passed away. In a twist of fate that they meet after he throws a concert that she attends with her little sister. Is it love at first sight? For him maybe but for her she is reluctant to let anyone in and love her. But he falls first and hard. Will his career get in the way of pursuing the relationship he wants???

2 stars - I had such high hopes for this one, but it just wasn't for me.
The FMC, Jade, is the main caretaker of her little sister, who's the biggest fangirl of a rock band. Jade takes her sister for their concert and ends up meeting Beckett, the lead singer. They run into each other a lot and the story goes on.
One thing I love about rockstar romances is that they're always FUN, it's the rockstar lifestyle, with intense and wild characters. This one was just pretty boring to me.
I couldn't get attached to the characters, this book was around 160 pages so I was already expecting some scenes to be fast-passed but there were a lot of useless, meaningless, scenes.
I also had a hard time with the style of writing, it was always very overdetailed and written in the most poetic way, and for me it just didn't work in this book. There were times that she was describing the most mundane things in this big theatrical way, that honestly I was rolling my eyes and shouting things like "you're just holding a fucking mug, that's all!".
As for the MMC he was just too overly sweet, and then there's a scene where he fucks up in the most wtf way and goes back to being this good romantic guy. To me he was just a very flat character with no layers to his personality, his past, etc.
I really tried to enjoy this one, but because it was such a small book I didn't want to DNF so I just forced myself to finish it, but honestly it just didn't work for me.

Like story
Except the destruction of the band. So that is why only four stars. I could never figure out where in the states this was taking place. Also where was he from with a southern accent. It would have been nice to have his pov also.

Strings of Fate is the meet cute concert experience that every girl dreams of! When a rockstar falls for a regular girl, and it’s love a first sight. Plus he writes a song about you! Sighhhhh. Why can’t this be a reality? Anywho, Strings of Fate is a fast paced, heartwarming , rockstar romance. The story follows the MCs, Jade and Beckett. Beckett was all in on Jade from the get go. Jade made him work for her love and I enjoyed the journey. Shoutout to little sis , who was a great secondary character. This was a cute palate cleanser which is perfect for a one sitting read. So grab a glass of wine, your favorite cozy blanket, and curl up on the couch with this heartfelt romance.
