The Stella Problem
Almost five years ago a one-night stand turned into the best thing to ever happen to Gabe; his daughter, Elsie. The only problem is her mom, Stella, never wanted more and only wanted to be friends and co-parents. Now, due to some unfortunate living circumstances, he has to move in with her for a bit.
Stella is probably my favourite person in the world, other than my daughter Elsie. I can’t believe my luck that she ended up as the mother of my child. The only problem is, she definitely doesn’t feel anything for me. Now I have to live with her for six weeks and I’m barely hanging on. Having her around constantly is doing things to me and if I don’t do something about it soon, I might regret it for the rest of my life.
I’m living with my baby daddy. To some people, that’s normal, for Gabe and me, it’s not. I like Gabe, I really do. He’s a great dad and just so happens to be my best friend’s cousin. But I’ve never felt anything more for him. That was until he moved in with me and started making me think twice about if I wanted to be with him or not. Seriously? Is it his mission while he’s here to make me fall for him? If it is, it might be working. But do I really want to risk screwing things up for Elsie?

She has done it again! I cannot say enough about this series and these characters. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review last night and I finished it in a single sitting (again). This is my third read by this author and I have been sucked in for each and every one of them! Her writing is so very her, easy to read, and keeps you engaged from beginning to end!
This time, we get to see how Stella and Gabe finally end up giving each other a chance! I loved the chemistry between the two that shone even as secondary characters in the first book, Between Awake and Sleep and this book showcasing them was everything!
I LOVED Gabe in the first book. He's just such a sweet, adorable, nerdy man that doesn't realize his appeal. He gives off all the green flag vibes that every woman wants to find in her significant other! He is considerate of those around him and tries his best to not take up more space or time than is needed. He is the type that you could call at any point and he would drop whatever to come help you. His relationship with his cousin Greya is adorable and the love that shines through there is always evident. But what makes him even greater is the love he has for his daughter, Elsie. While she wasn't planned she is definitely the apple of his eye! Their scenes are always so darn adorable.
Stella is great and I love her for the woman that she is. She was raised to be able to take care of business on her own and when things need done she is going to handle them rather than ask for help. Her chapters were some of my favorites, and seeing her fall in love with the father of her child was incredible. Watching her open up and become less guarded was so familiar to me.
Their relationship is ever so pure but the journey is absolutely the most fun. I love these books and will recommend them forever. They will continue to remind me of Hallmark movies but gives me so much more depth than the movies ever could! If you need a sweet romance to sweep you off your feet look no further! Grab both the books while you are at it!

While this is a stand alone a highly recommend reading book 1 first!!!! We get a glimpse of our characters Gabe & Stella there.

I absolutely loved this book! It got me out of my reading slump. I’ve been so excited to read it considering how much I loved the first book in this series! I can’t wait to read more of her writing!

Stella and Gabe are perfect together. Not only do you fall in love with them you fall in love with their daughter.
