The start to Charlie Team is not one for faint hearts. So much heartbreak, missing pieces snd years so many trust issues and one major FUBAR keeps Charlie Team on edge to solve this case.
With the help pf other Protector Teams local and state side they get closer to solving this and saving Bellamy’s future in the process.

I like a good story that's fluid and keeps the storyline going. There's plenty of action, suspense, secrets revealed and new beginnings. I'll say one thing these two are always butting heads. HEA.

This first book in the series, written by four different and very talented authors , introduces the readers to KOA Charlie. A group made up of former military K-9 members who now are part of Hank Patterson’s Brotherhood Protectors.
This story belongs to Bellamy Chance and Octavia Reynolds. These childhood friends were an item 8 years ago until they broke up, she leaves to work in the Peace Corps in Colombia and ends up getting “killed”, or so everyone is made to believe. Because the person responsible would go back to finish what he started.
This leaves Bellamy devastated and never forgetting her. That is, until he’s called to a rescue in Colombia.
From that moment on, the danger intensifies . Who to trust not only with letting them know Octavia is alive, but also in finding out why and how individuals are disappearing in Colombia. Does it involve human trafficking? How to prove who is responsible?

Bellamy and Octavia finally get their second chance, a second chance he thought was lost to him. He grieved, he mourned and after five years he has just begun to rebuild his life, then it all comes to a screeching halt.... she's alive!
As second chances go this is a cracker, yes, they both have baggage and trauma. And yes, they are both in as much danger now as they were before she was "dead". But now they have not only his team, but also the Brotherhood Protectors and if you pair that with their love and their determination to survive for the future they always dreamed of...they cannot fail.
I love these multi author mini series within the Brotherhood Protectors World, especially when the same authors are involved with each mini series and so we get a great crossover between the KOA Teams as well as the Brotherhood Protectors characters.
I have already downloaded the other three books in this mini series and look forward to reading Cooper, Rusty and Ethan's books and seeing more of Bell and O.

Bellamy never got over the death of his one true love - Octavia. He was forever kicking himself for having let her go, and not fighting to get her back when she became engaged. Since her disappearance he and his group have joined The Brotherhood Protectors. One day he receives a letter from a CIA agent saying that with the arrival of the letter that means he is dead and that Bellamy and his group need to go on a mission immediately. Imagine his shock to discover that his mission is to rescue Octavia and bring her back home. Unbeknownst to Octavia, the CIA agent that helped rescue her from the ambush to the village she was in and helped her survive by keeping her safe, left instructions for Bellamy’s group to rescue her upon his death.
Loved that Bellamy and Octavia discover that the love they shared in the past was real and they get to discover who they are now and if they have a future together. All while trying to protect her and to capture the people who tried to kill her in the past, and is trying to kill her now. Loved all the twists and turns.

Another great read in the Brotherhood protector storyline I love these small collection written by favourite authors that slip into this world

Wow, what an incredible story. In Bellamy's Command, Jen Talty weaves a tale that's filled with suspense, danger, intense hard hitting action, corruption, manipulation and of love lost and love foun Octavia and Bellamy have known each other since middle school. They seemed destined to be together until they weren't. Miscommunication and lack of clarity plagues these two. Despite five years apart when she goes missing and is presumed dead, he may have unwillingly resigned himself to her supposed death but part of him never gave up. She lived a life in the shadows for years only to be rescued by the man she never truly stopped loving. Figuring out the who and the why behind her disappearance often has these two butting heads but doesn't stop them from rekindling their powerful love for one another. Stopping the traffickers is KOA's focus and the revelations of those who are involved is only mildly surprising once all the pieces fall in place. Octavia and Bellamy get to live their dream.

I'm a sucker for a second chance. There really isn’t anything I like reading better. And to watch the love between Bellamy and Octavia resurrected from the dead was simply awe inspiring. This was an incredible story of justice and revenge, wrapped around their second chance romance. But there were some difficult topics in this book that made the reading tough going at times, so be aware that there are some potentially triggering themes. The story was off and running nearly from the moment I cracked open the covers. It was filled with action and intrigue as well as a lot of forgiveness and growth. I have loved every previous book in the Team KOA world, and I can’t wait to dive into the next ones.

Wow what an ordeal Octavia has been through the last five years. Now her contact is dead and she has to follow instructions to get out of Columbia without getting caught. Bellamy and his team retired from the military after a search and rescue mission in Columbia where their K9s very strangely didn't do their job to find bombing victims in Columbia and then refused in a new K9 group headed by Octavia's fiance, Eric, as revenge for not finding Octavia. Now Bellamy and his team live in Hawaii working for the Brotherhood. Their next mission is a rescue out of Columbia. What happens next is a lot of surprises and danger before the reader gets to the end. I received an ARC and I am voluntarily reviewing it as I enjoyed the story.

Working in a remote village, Octavia Reynolds was believed killed during a raid which wiped out the whole village. That was five years ago, and her father and Bellamy Chance couldn’t get past it. Bellamy and Octavia loved each other but with some miscommunications they separated. She did peace Corp work in third world countries and he in the military. A DEA agent saved her and nursed her back to health which took a long time, but they had to keep that secret from everyone as her life was in danger and she was determined to prove her ex-fiancé was the traitor. A great mystery to hold you glued to the pages.

Heart wrenching, twisted, evil, family, second chances, love and more on this page turning roller coaster. I was in Hawaii with Bellamy, then in Columbia and man on man this one was intense. I just finished it, and my heart is still racing with the depth of evil, the depth of love and family isn't just blood. Buckle up, brace your heart, there is some ugliness but just know there is a HEA. Just a wowzah! This was a good story. I liked Bellamy and the other members of his team. I was invested in the story and intrigued by the mystery of Octavia. Although I felt for what Octavia endured, I could not understand why she blamed Bellamy for so many of the events in her life. I wasn't really feeling Octavia because of that attitude. Maybe if the attitude had not started before the Columbia trip, I could understand, but it began well before that occurred.
There was a good amount of action, danger, and suspense. I thought at times, the way the story unfolded was a bit confusing. The further I read in the book, the more the situation became clear. There was a nice ending with an HEA.

Jen has started Team Charlie with chaos & mayhem. Bellemy & Octavia's second chance comes at great cost. We get turmoil, guilt, anger, betrayal & love so deep hitting as your turn pages. You get lots of twist & turns to just an unjust. Absolutely loved the K9s that steal your heart. You will adore Bellemy but take awhile to like Octavia. A banging start to this team.

An awesome series starter. Octavia disappeared 5 years ago and is believed to be dead. Bellamy and his team are sent to pick up a package after a DEA agent is murdered. They find Octavia and she has been through hell. Can they find who betrayed her and left her for dead? A fantastic emotional story. I read an arc of this book and this is my review

What a great start to the Team KOA Charlie series. Bellamy is a former Marine Raider now working for the Brotherhood Protectors. A cryptic message from an FBI agent working undercover has the team traveling to Colombia where they find his Octavia ex girlfriend who was declared dead. Lots of suspense and twists in this one.

I am not a big fan of this kind of second chance story. But there are always exceptions, and this was one. The fact I like the author and love the series may have an influence, but genuinely liked this story too. Some huge twists. Talk about is she or isn't she. Good job.

Annoying Heroine
Brilliant writing as always but the heroine Octavia really annoyed me. She goes through a hugely traumatic experience but her attitude to the “love of her life” Bellamy seems so immature and arrogant.
I also felt the ending, whilst showcasing her typical selfishness, seemed a bit abrupt.

4.5 🌟 stars…Holeeeeee Guacamole!!! What a twisting and turning journey that Bellamy must go on to finally find what he never thought he would again. This is an all of the feels, murder and mayhem journey filled with evil and yet brings the love of a lifetime!

This was an intense, tragic page-turner that hooked me from the beginning. The storyline involved a woman presumed dead, a sadistic villain, and the new Brotherhood Protectors K9 team. It was a great book to start off Team KOA Charlie.

I was lucky enough to get an ARC Copy of this book, and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is a well written story with great characters. I would encourage everyone to get this one it is worth your time. Just so you know the dog helps make the story.

What happens when Bellamy gets a scrambled message from an undercover DEA agent to head back to Colombia with his team, their K9 dogs and retrieve a package..twists, turns, action, suspense and the package…which he discovers is Octavia his ex girlfriend who he thought died 5 yrs ago but is still alive.
