When the stars are watching, there is no escape… unless we become the “where.”
Aunia is on a desperate quest to find the sea-witch who may hold the truth of her father’s fate—whether he yet lives or is lost forever—but every turn draws her deeper into conspiracy and danger.
Haunted by betrayal and hunted not only by enemies, but by former allies, Aunia and Mathias must clear their names and stop Arch Vicar Bibb and his wererat army from starting a war and provoking prophecy’s doom.
Deadly enchantments rise. The Eldarghast tree is awake. And Aunia must decide how much she’s willing to risk before Choice decides for her which world—mortal or faery—survives.

I received an early release ARC of this book and TF Burke does it again! This book continues the great pacing exhibited by this author in the first two novels. The story is very unique with lots of Faerie Lore as well as fantastic world building. I highly recommend this series to young and old alike. Getting to visit this world is a treat that I hope many others will get to experience it as I have.
The Dama Star slides ever closer to the Harp constellation, leaving one world—either mortal or faery—all but certain to perish in Faeries Don’t Hide. Aunia and Mathias are drawn deeper and deeper into the complex and mysterious web of the augury as they continue their quest to save the worlds in the third installment of T.F. Burke’s Heart of the Worlds series. Someone is pushing the Dama Star toward the Harp constellation in an attempt to bring the prophecy to fruition, and it’s up to our heroes to figure out who and stop them. But that’s just the start of their problems. Aunia’s father is still missing, forcing her to choose between following leads on her search for him or following the mystery of the augury. This leaves Mathias caught between duty and love. Will he stay on the path the follows the Dama Star or will he help the girl he loves? Perhaps he can do both. T.F. Burke weaves a complex tale in Faeries Don’t Hide filled with betrayal, magic, secrets, and the pain of young love. The stakes are clearly higher in this book, both for the world as a whole and for our characters’ hearts. When the final battle comes, there’s a deadly price for victory. If you enjoyed the first two books of the Heart of the Worlds series, you don’t want to miss Faeries Don’t Hide.
This was a good book for our third in the series. We got reunited with some people we have been looking for two books and that was nice. We had our two main characters grow closer it seems at least by the end realize their more feelings for each other. And we definitely had some plot twists in family lineage be revealed and I was quite surprised by some of those. Overall we were back in the human world for this third book and that def helped my brain be able to wrap around things better. We got to meet new flyers and that was interesting and new players in the game of this Journey. Will we save the world both or just one? Guess you will have to read to find out. I’m excited to see where the next book on the journey will take us. If you haven’t been immersed in this world go read because it def takes you for a ride!
When the stars are watching, there is no escape… unless we become the “where.” This is book three in the Heart of the Worlds series. It’s a YA fantasy full of folklore and mythology We got reunited with some people we have been looking for two books and that was nice. We had our two main characters grow closer, it seems at least by the end realize their more feelings for each other. Overall we were back in the human world for this third book and that def helped my brain be able to wrap around things better. This has so much backstory and high stakes, that I am immediately drawn in each time I pick it up. The romance is more mild than normal romance , but the higher fantasy makes up for it!
Faeries Don't Hide (Heart of the Worlds) by TF Burke, which is Book 3 of her fantasy series, hits the ground running, continuing the growing epic story that follows Aunia, Mathias, his wild-born pegasus, Tafiriel, and my new favorite character, Darla (right next to my other favorite, the Boggleman). And the story runs all the way into a phantasmal magical display that is well worth the time to read this epic adventure. Book 3 is worth reading for the chapter quotes alone. It’s my favorite parts of this YA gem. Book 3 has some great reveals also, but I won’t say any more than that for fear of spoiling the joy of discovery. If you’ve been following this series, then you gonna wanna continue on with this book.
I devoured this book! This has so much backstory and high stakes, that I am immediately drawn in each time I pick it up. The romance is more mild than my normal reads, but the higher fantasy makes up for it! I'm so invested in the "plot holes," I use quotation marks because it's mid series and I have to wait and spiral in my theories for the time being 😂 I cannot wait to see how it plays out!! P.S. The author also has character deep dives on her blog and I have been eating those up!
First and foremost, I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved this book. I think this book was my favorite out of the series so far. I loved how the two main characters both “found themselves” in this book, and I loved seeing that via the dual POV between both characters. I would definitely suggest reading the first two books before this one for context, as one story goes right into the next. Definitely loved this book though!
High speed chases riding pegasi, '.mid air battles with wyverns and other magical beings, shapeshifters good and bad.Even romance. I loved this exciting adventure. this is not Disney's fairies nor a traditional fae world. But afar more imaginative world rooted in family, magic, glamours and love.So fast paced i felt breathless.Great story
Daring youths, impressive creatures, pegasi, cunning villains, and quirky wizards: I'm definitely enjoying the story so far, though I am still a little confused by the mythology and magic in this world. The well-rounded characters certainly carry the tale. I'm looking forward to their meeting with the queen.
this is one of my favorite series ever. TF knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat, ready for more. if you love faeries, action, love, and all sorts of snark. this series is for you. highly recommend.
Omgosh I absolutely devoured this! I'm so invested! Absolutely LOVE the chemistry and feelings between the ain't characters. Totally invested in the adventures of the Heart of the World series!
I love this series each book is just as good if not better than the last. With excellent world building and characters it doesn't take much to get sucked into the story, I can't wait for more.
Wow!! A captivating third book in the Heart of the Worlds series by TF Burke and I was definitely not disappointed. I was glued from page one. Filled with action, adventure, intrigue, twists and turns, surprises you don't see coming and magic. The characters Aunia and Mathias have a great chemistry. All the characters are well written with a lot of growth. The world building of TF Burke is brilliant, vivid, magical and incredible. I highly recommend reading this book as well as the series!
