The HellBeast's Battle

Rate this book
Love can conquer many things.
Sacrifice even more.
Which is why I jumped into Hell and found myself in the very last place I ever imagined.
A place of discovery.
A place where knowledge is key, and truth is power.
So, as the secrets start unravelling and past lives begin catching up with me,
I am given a choice.
To stay hidden and save everyone I love or throw Fate a curveball and fight for the chance at happiness.
But even I know that love won’t win this war alone.
And the war for Hell’s new throne has just begun.
As old foes rise and new dangers emerge,
The fight for survival will demand everything.
Loyalties will be tested. Blood will be spilled.
And in the end, the HellBeast King must make an impossible choice.
One that could change the Underworld forever.
Where the past meets the present,
And the future of Hell hangs in the balance, as now it is time for…
The HellBeast’s Battle.
Where fate is brutal, the stakes are deadly, and the final reckoning is coming.

I have waited MONTHS for this book… the cliffhanger on book 9 *chefs kiss* the world building all perfection and then you give me THIS BOOK

I spent 100 pages getting a history lesson I didn’t ask for in Greek mythology

And when did Greek mythology even come into it… we are 40+ books into this world.

This book was a pointless filler that did nothing apart from irritate me

My honest opinion.

So we waited months for a history lesson and detailed descriptions of everything. I feel like the book was more about filling pages with pointless descriptions of every fine detail of clothing, rooms, and weapons than actually telling a story. Kinda felt like I was reading a home and gardens magazine. If you can tell a story well enough you won't need fine details of EVERYTHING in the room. Much of that could have been left out. I'm sorry but I did not feel this one. Very disappointed ☹️.

The Hellbeast King

I have loved all of the books in this series this far. The author weaves a tale of bravery, betrayal, love, and second chances.

My only problem with the 10 books I've read in the series is that there are many typographical and grammatical errors. I am not proficient enough in writing to have anything but the greatest of respect for any author. With this being said, there are other people whose job it is to find these errors prior to publication. While these errors aren't major, they do take away from the continuity and enjoyment of what could be a really fantastic storyline. You have everything mythological you could ever wish for. Hellbeasts, demons, angels, God and Goddesses, and my personal favourite, humans.

I look forward to the next book, The Hellbeast King Book 11. Stephanie Hudson has woven a mythological tale of magnificent proportions. Kudos to you my dear.

So many plot twists!

So we finally have made it to the Underworld & what fun it's been. I'm loving the banter between Marcus, Ortho & Jared, it's really been allowed to develop in this book. Unfortunately, Ella has done what she always does - the very thing she's been told not to do! Pomegranates; enough said.

Now getting back to my bete noir. The amount of mistakes in the text seem to be growing alarmingly. It's got to the stage where 2 will turn up in the same sentence. Or really sloppy ones like the use of "integrate" instead of "interrogate". There's virtually no page unmarred by misspellings, punctuation missing or wrongly used or completely the wrong word thrown in. I really don't know who's responsible but someone needs to tighten up the procedures when turning a book into an ebook. It's detrimental to the reader's enjoyment &, quite honestly, it's an insult to Stephanie Hudson's work. So, come on, somebody get it sorted!

I am loving this HellBeast series as every time a new book comes out i can't wait to sit down and devour these. They are just getting better and better if that is at all possible as we are leaning so much more about these two characters and there past lives.

This has so many twists that you never see coming as just when you think you know how this is going to pan out BOOM there is another twist to the story. I would love to be in the head of this author with all the nordic mythology that is in this book.

Everything is not as it seems and what the hell did you do Lerna! as now there are more questions than answers, can't wait for HellBeast Betrayal to find out how this is going to end!

Ah Stephanie.. you did it again. lol - Just so you know. You're the only author whose cliffhangers I'm happy to endure. Can`t wait for The Hellbeast`s Betrayal.

Wow. This book was really good. Greek and Nordic mythology play a huge role here. Ella's true roots are very deeply rooted here... and "Not erything is as it seems, HellBeast". - I would really like to give spoilers... but I still won't. The plot with all its twists and turns is just too good.

"To fight for our right to fly"... - Hm...now I have to wonder: What did you do, Lerna?

What a cliffhanger again!!!

I really loved how there was the Greek and Nordic mythologies implemented into this book.

We get to see Lerna and Ella's relationship a lot deeper and understand how and why everything happened and it was really really enjoyable.

The interaction between Jared, Orth and Marcus honestly reminds me of Keria, Pip and Sophie. Their banter was amazing and I couldn't stop laughing!

✔️ underworld
✔️ Greek and Nordic mythology
✔️ seeking fated one

As usual, Stephanie, knocked it out of the park again. I don't usually give 5 stars, but with Stephanie, you pretty much have to. Jared and Ella are at it it again. They are in love and are in danger AGAIN. The book was just awesome and I can't wait for the next installment. I don't give too many details about the books I review and certainly don't write a 14 page thesis about it either. Just know that you will love it like you love all of her other books. Go rent or buy it. You won't regret it one bit.

Yes!

Buddy, this was well worth the wait! Ella and Lerna together, in a little hidden pocket in the Underworld. Finding out they are sisters of all things! And that’s all I’m saying about that.
Jared is working his way toward the Underworld with Marcus and Orth but must make a detour first. And that’s all I’m saying about that!
It’s making me anticipate the last book like an addict jonesing for their next fix! I can’t wait!!!

Liked it!!!

It was good but I was a little disappointed and sometimes board. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and no spice. However, I loved the parts with Marcus and Orth that were sometimes so funny then Jared telling them they were acting like a old married couple. The big surprises with Leona and Ella having Ella learning more about herself and then ending in a cliffhanger about Leona leaving you saying What!!!

Too much of a ruse with no give back

I am a fan of this Hellbeast King series and characters. This is book ten, in the series, but not my favorite. This book took Ella from Jared in the very first scene. Next, this book took the reader on an overly elaborate journey to find answers from Ella’s unknown past life with her family. The main couple don’t have any scenes together except that first scene. To add insult to injury, this book ends in a big cliffhanger. Disappointed!!

The Time of Kings is a gripping time-travel romance full of adventure, high stakes, and emotional depth. Draven and Keira’s story combines political intrigue, passionate romance, and tension-filled timelines that keep the reader completely absorbed.

Fans of the Afterlife Saga will enjoy revisiting familiar faces, but the story also works beautifully as a standalone adventure. Stephanie Hudson crafts a vivid, immersive world where love and fate collide—impossible to put down.

Another amazing adventure!

As usual, Stephanie Hudson has written a wonderfully crazy instalment of Jated and Ella's story. Beautifully weaving elements of both Greek and Norse mythology into a typically Greek katabasis (descent to the underworld), with more twists than a helter-skelter!

Complicated Plot

The Hellbeast's Battle, book 10 of Stephanie Hudson's The Hellbeast King series has a very complicated plot. The twist and turns will have you reading the same paragraph over to make sure you understand it correctly. The ending will have you wondering if you should read it again to make sure you are really ready for the next book.

Another Amazing Book In This Series!

I love everything to do with Stephanie Hudson's books. They take you off to far away places with heroes and heroines. You fall in love with each character. I cannot get enough. Jared and Ella are such strong characters. I look forward to each book that comes out and always will. Stephanie Hudson you are my hero!

So very disappointed

I waited years to finally get book ten which I was told was the final book in the series ONLY TO GET TO THE END ON ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER! If she's going to keep doing this to her local followers she's going to lose them completely. Book 10 was so full of fluff and descriptions of people and places I feel totally ripped off.

I love the Hellbeast books, I would even say it’s my favourite series by Stephanie.

This was just the same, I did find this book very descriptive of surrounding, clothing etc more than usual but it did not deter the story line.

To be honest this book left me with more question than answers. Lerna involvement again has thrown me for 6, I can not wait for book 11 to find out what is going on.

oh HellBeast!

These books are not long enough I need more. I know that you’re writing these as fast as you can, but it kills me because I poured through all of your other books and now I have to wait for the little small tastes of each book as they come out now. But we’re getting there. I know we’re getting closer to being done with Ella and Jared’s story.

The Hellbeast’s Battle (book 10) by Stephanie Hudson is a 4 ⭐️ read.
This one took me a bit longer to read than any of the others in this series, I really struggled with getting into it, I know this one was essential to the storyline but I was slightly bored reading it so had to keep putting it down. I do highly recommend anything by this author this book included.

I found myself putting off reading this book as I fear I will once again be disappointed as I have been by the last few publications. I’m determined to read what will probably be 12 volumes as that seems to be Ms. Hudson’s go to amount of books in a series. (I wish she would finish Vincent/Ari and Pip/Adam’s romances but it’s been years)

I generally don’t look at other people's reviews before finishing a book but made an exception in this case. It seems that the author is continuing rehashing the same old plot points and not really having the story progress. DNF

What was that!!! OMG this is such a crazy journey for Ella and everything she finds out. Not to mention Jared! Absolutely "chefs kiss" 💋 this book is. Non stop page turner wanting to figure out what is going to happen next. Then that cliff hanger, I'm beginning to think Mrs. Stephanie Hudson is the queen of cliffhangers!!! So can't wait for the next book!!!
