5 star review
I am going to start by saying I am not sure if the 5 stars is for just Brendon or for the series as whole because I write this coming off tears from reading the epilogue. A powerful, masterfully written epilogue in a voice the reader of this series has not heard before but has been dying for.

I adored how it was written, what it stood for and the hint of more to come. YES, you heard me… it appears Coyote Ridge has more stories to tell!!!

Readers of this series.. and I will pause and say if this book interests you and you have not read the series, please stop reading and go 1-click Kaleb so you too can fall in love with the Walker Family.

Brendon as you guessed is the story of Brendon Walker, the last Walker brother to have his story told and with Cheyenne Montgomery, a country singer who Brendon has been circling around for some time (and a few books).

I adored how this book opened as the reader finally learns how Cheyenne came to be a friend of the Walker family or more specifically how she became friends with Travis the oldest Walker Brother.

I loved how Ms. Edwards puts the struggles we have seen between Cheyenne and Brendon into context; she did not make this story about drama but about two adults attempting to process coming together under complicated terms.

As always Curtis Walker, the patriarch touched my soul, made me smile and put a grin on my face by calling his sons “boy.” And the interactions between the Walker brothers yet again was so much fun to read and portrayed unique bonds between each man.

Those dedicated fans who have read all of Ms. Edwards series are rewarded with mentions of many… as one of those fans I will say I love the use of Z and RT from her Sniper 1 series and now I am even more excited to see what develops between these two. I will also say the use of Sniper 1 in the plot lines was perfect, it made for an engaging story line.

No worries if you only read the Alluring Indulgence series as these mentions are woven into the series really well.

The “why” Cheyenne moves to Coyote Ridge works and “how" Brendon learns to embrace these feelings he has never felt before so worked for me; they truly helped me fall in love with this man who for the past two books was truly struggling to move his life forward.

I loved watching these two come together and learn more about each other; the deeper than the chemistry and attraction that shone through from their first meeting.

The happy Bren and Chey find was one crafted to fit them and made me smile!

And again I will end as I opened….OMG the voice you hear in the epilogue is one I have been dying for and I am so happy that we will be getting more of the residents of Coyote Ridge!

Brendon was the eighth and final book in the Alluring Indulgence series by Nicole Edwards.

Brendon Walker was Braydon’s twin. We knew from previous books that Brendon had been struggling for a while once Braydon began having a life and love of his own. We also learned previously that Brendon was highly attracted to Cheyenne Montgomery, yet neither was willing to acknowledge it, which created anger and tension between the two.

Cheyenne Montgomery was the beautiful and famous country star who had roots in Coyote Ridge, TX. She was a friend of Travis, Brendon’s brother, and ultimately a friend to all of the Walker’s. She was in the process of purchasing and renovating an old Victorian home, which put her in the direct path of Brendon more often then not.

Edwards had been teasing us with scenes between Brendon and Cheyenne for several books now. Edwards finally gave us what we wanted and once they got through the awkwardness, I loved that they embraced it. The drama didn’t come from the relationship but Edwards included another plot reflective of a high profile music star. It added suspense and depth to the storyline.

I loved both characters. Brendon’s alpha protectiveness was appealing. It wasn’t uncommon for today’s themes, but I’m always a huge fan when it’s written well. I was also charmed by Brendon’s shyness, gentleness and awkwardness towards Cheyenne. It was endearing and a mix that worked well.

Additionally, Edwards included the entire Walker clan - encompassing cousins and a few friends - which now leads us straight into two other series: Sniper 1 Security and Coyote Ridge.

In the end, it was a typical Edwards saga - well written, well developed, sexy, entertaining, teasers for the future and a well written epilogue that brought us full circle with the Walker Clan. A truly enjoyable series and a promise for more greatness in future spinoffs.

Wow....just WOW!!!! Nicole Edwards has done it again! Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. Hot and sexy! Such a classy way to end this series and seamlessly leads you into the spinoff series. This is my favorite ALL TIME series!! I just love the Walker brothers but how can you not. Another awesome book from Nicole.

Say it ain’t so! I hate that this is the end of the Alluring Indulgence series, while at the same time so happy that these men have each had a chance to find happily ever after.

To say life for Brendon Walker changed when his twin brother, Braydon, fell in love would be an understatement. Still learning to live with his new normal, Brendon is finally coming through the darkness. And the light on the other side? None other than country music star, Cheyenne Montgomery.

For Chey, Brendon has always been the one to make her heart go pitter-patter. But the last two years haven’t endeared him to her…or vice versa. She wants to help him, just as he wants to protect her. Can they let each other in, when everything says they should stay apart?

Leaving Brendon’s story for the end of this series seems to me to be a pretty gutsy move on Ms. Edwards’ part. Having read all the books in this series, and having loved them to varying degrees, I was apprehensive about Brendon. He didn’t exactly make me feel the warm fuzzies with his behavior in the earlier books, so I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make it through an entire book dedicated to his struggle. Not only did I make it through though, I devoured it. Turns out, Brendon can give me the warm fuzzies…

That’s not to say I loved every second of it. I was still frustrated by Brendon’s actions and communication at times, and he is probably my least favorite of these brothers. (Someone has to be right? Although they're all pretty awesome.) But I absolutely get the appeal, and Ms. Edwards did an excellent job of making him not only desirable and redeemable, but also a good guy. The story line gave him reason to show off his alpha, protective, growly, dominant side, and that’s what this character needed. That, and the delightfully dirty, panty-melting sex…

Brendon also offered an interesting little mystery too. I loved how it tied into some of the other series that this author has worked/is working on, and it was, as always, great to see the other Walker men pop up and add their two cents. There perhaps wasn’t the level of closure I might have expected from this book – the epilogue bordered on corny, and didn’t necessarily go where I wanted and expected it to. Although as endings go, corny or not, it was lovely; a very rewarding ending for this family, and for those who have loved them through every book, and actually fairly fitting, all things considered.

I am very interested to see where the next series Ms. Edwards comes out with goes. Clearly, there is set-up here for more from the extended Walker family, and I expect that the Walker brothers can’t be contained to this one series, meaning we shall see them again somehow, someway. Alluring Indulgence might be over, but the story of this tight-knit, fun-loving, dirty, sweet and sexy family is far from finished. ~ Beth, 4 stars

Brendon is the last of the Walker Brothers to have his story told. When I read Braydons story I thought Brendon was just behaving like a spoiled child. However now I realise after reading about Brendon that being a twin and knowing nothing else, he had his reasons and all is explained. Brendon's story has tugged at my heart, not just because its the last AI book but because he feels so alone with all his brothers now paired off and happily in love so he is struggling to see where he fits in. Brendon needs to find his happily ever after and he has always had a thing for country singer superstar Cheyenne Montgomery, so when she decides it's time to lay low for a bit and buys a house in Coyote Ridge will Brendon try and persue her. The question is will Cheyenne mirror those feelings considering the last time he wanted to tag team her with his twin to which she point blank refused. So will they get over the hurdles they need to breach? You will just have to read to find out their story. I Love Nicole Edwards books. If you enjoy a flawless very well written and very hot read then this author will blow your socks off. Each and every one of the brothers stories has blew me away and I can never get enough.

What can I say to finish? I am deeply saddened that the final Walker Brothers book has just about landed. However new doors have opened in Nicole's new Sniper 1 security Series which will no doubt be just as good or even better.

“Why are you smiling?” “Because I think you’re cute.” “Cute? You seriously did not just call me cute.” “I did.” “I’m not cute.” “Oh, but you are.”

How sad are we to see the Alluring Indulgence series come to a close and while I am positive that I ill fall hard for Nicole’s other characters coming too the Walker brothers will always be my first love from her. Brendon is an emotional and scorching hot end to a series that proved to me that good guys can be as sexy as any bad boy.

“It didn’t fit at all with all the assumptions he’d been making about her all along. Just more proof that Cheyenne Montgomery was too damn good for the likes of him.”

I feel like I have been through a rollercoaster of emotions when it comes to Brendon. I loved his and Braydon’s fun care free ways in the early books and as their stories developed more I felt both sad for him and anger over how he handled the situations he was forced into. Depressed and bitter Brendon is walking around wasting the blessed life he has been given and earned. Now is finally the time for him to move past it all and come into his own.

“Heavens. She wasn’t sure she was going to survive him. But she was damn sure going to try.”

Cheyenne has not had the easy life that everyone expects from the country starlet. That plus the fact that she has no desire to be “shared” has pushed her away from a man she felt a real connection to. Brendon and Cheyenne have been on each other’s lives but kept their distance because both are convinced they cannot ever truly have the other. But now that his brother is settles and moving on Brendon is starting to realize he wants the same thing. Now to just claim the woman he has known was his.

“Holy fuck, did you seriously not wear panties?” “I didn’t wear them, just for you.” “You’re a naughty girl, you know that?” “Only for you.”

Brendon felt fresh and new to me in the Alluring Indulgence series. With a mysterious subplot involving a stalker and the men of Sniper 1 Security, Nicole has managed to seamlessly cross over her new series and has me fully intrigued and wanting more from them. Brendon is deliciously alpha and protective and loves Cheyenne with everything he has. Brendon starts with him taking care of her in her time of need and I loved the fact that he never stops. Their story is endearing and exciting and the epilogue had me almost in tears catching up with all those I have come to love.

“You are the brightest light in my darkest days.”

While told in third person, which is not always my favorite, Brendon is a smooth and easy read that I was able to do in one day. I could not put it down and was looking for any opportunity to sneak back to Bren and Chey and their sweet and sexy story. While it is incredibly sad that the series is coming to an end I am happy that while the end is here I am certain we will see more from these boys in future series.

SIMPLY AMAZING!!
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book. I'm a HUGE Nicole Edwards fan!! It's bittersweet to see the Alluring Indulgence Series come to an end. If you haven't had the opportunity, I highly recommend getting to know the Walkers!! Kaleb, Zane, Travis, Ethan, Braylon, Sawyer, and Brendon are a close family in search of their own happiness. These alpha males will have you itching for more!!

Brendon is having a difficult time, now that his twin has found love. All of his brothers are experiencing their happily ever after. It's too much when the one he wants to peruse is now residing in his home town. When he learns of her problems, there is nothing th hat will keep him away!
Cheyenne Montgomery is a rising country singer, well on her way to fame! Planting roots in Coyote Ridge will allow her to take better care of her grandmother. Getting her home ready gives her a much needed break from being on the road. The Walker's are like the family she never had, their support means the world to her. Will she loose that bond when they realize the secret she is keeping? Does spending too much time with a certain Walker change the coarse of her life?
Grab Brendon now and find out how their story plays out!!!

This series is one of my absolute favourites so I find it hard to believe it took me well over a year to read it !!!! I could kick myself really I could !!!
I loved getting reacquainted with all the Walker brothers it was like coming home especially finally getting to know Brendon- the quite twin didn't disappoint he was as alpha as all his brothers if not a little bit more !
His relationship with Cheyenne was one of my favourites and as with all the series hot as hell. Even though I know there are spin off books the end did make me cry I've watched these band of brothers grow into the men they are today each finding love some in very unusual places but at the end of the day we can't help who we love !!!

God damn, I love you, Nicole Edwards! This was such a bitter sweet ending. There is no doubt that NE will create another series to hook me in but I'm so sad to see the Walker family go. They all found their HEA with their own unique stories - I seriously feel like I'm part of the family.

It's never easy to say goodbye to a favorite series but it's particularly bittersweet parting ways with the Alluring Indulgence series by Nicole Edwards because the Walker brothers are characters I've gotten to know and love over the course of eight books. This is a series that's very much interconnected so even though each new book spotlights a new couple, there’s a strong sense of history that comes from getting to know these characters so intimately. Going into Brendon, this history was somewhat of a drawback as the title character, Brendon Walker, wasn’t exactly my favorite person after having sabotaged both his familial relationships and his budding romance with fellow protagonist, Cheyenne Montgomery. I was expecting more of his selfish behavior, but within a few chapters (okay, it was more like one), his blundering charm and his effort to win over Cheyenne had me eating out of the palm of his hand.

After having Brendon and Cheyenne’s romance teased in previous books, I knew it was only a matter of time before they acted on their mutual attraction, although I must admit that, after a fairly volatile start to their relationship, it came as a pleasant surprised how quickly things developed between them. Despite the massive amount of baggage between them, I appreciated that Cheyenne didn’t punish Brendon for his past decisions but instead helped him realize there was a good guy beneath his bad boy façade. Cheyenne’s genuine kindness and sweet disposition was a perfect complement to Brendon’s rough edginess. The pairing of a down-to-earth country princess and a rough-and-tumble cowboy just works.

It was both strange and fascinating to come across a Walker brother who wasn't naturally smooth and easily able to charm the opposite sex. Encountering Brendon's frustration with himself over his inability to communicate with Cheyenne was actually refreshing because, as a result, he tried harder to compensate for the areas in which he thought he was lacking. And yes, I mean in the bedroom. He may not be a sweet talker but he had no problem finding the right words to explain in explicitly dirty detail how much he desired Cheyenne. Brendon seems to be the Walker brother with the most insatiable sexual appetite and it was like Nicole Edwards saved the best for last, putting him in readers' hands with an implied "You're welcome." This is me saying thank you and job well done.

After two years of pent-up tension and hurt feelings that played out over the course of several books in the series, I was grateful for the relative lack of relationship issues between Brendon and Cheyenne. Of course, things aren't exactly smooth sailing but thankfully the majority of the drama and suspense unfolds through another outlet. The romance between Brendon and Cheyenne is the heart of the book and the Walker family is the soul. Brendon represents the progression of the Alluring Indulgence series, which initially focused on getting the resort off the ground and embarking on a new dream between the brothers, only to grow into one expansive narrative encompassing the tight-knit Walker clan as they extended their family with each new book. This book sets out to fix what's been broken and to tie up loose ends, all while seeing to it that the final Walker brother gets his happily ever after.

Brendon, as the title states, is about Brendon Walker, the identical twin brother of Braydon Walker and the fourth oldest of the Walker boys. Brendon was an absolutely fantastic read. I wish I could give it 10 stars. It sucked me right in from page one and held me tight until the ending that I did not want to happen at all. I laughed out loud, I cried, I shouted NOOOOOOO!!, I cheered for Brendon and Cheyenne, I wanted to kick some butt, and I just all around loved this book. Brendon has been through a lot in the past few years, and he has not dealt well with those changes, going from the super sexy, fun loving guy that we met in Kaleb to the super sexy, grumpy, drinking too much, ill tempered guy that emerged sometime during Holidays with the Walker Brothers. He especially has not dealt well with his twin Braydon falling in love and wanting to have a separate life that does not include Brendon in all aspects, or with the fact that the gorgeous and talented country singer Cheyenne Montgomery refused his lascivious offer of fun. Although I am so sad, because I cannot believe the Alluring Indulgence series, or as it is better known as the Walker Brothers series, is finished, I am also over the moon, because Brendon is Nicole Edwards at her finest!! Nicole Edwards ended this marvelous series that I will read again and again with a huge bang!! Anyone who has read this series wants their own Walker Brother, because he or she definitely wants to be a part of the Walker family.

Bravo, Nicole Edwards on a job so well done that it will stay with me forever. There were no loose ends left untied in this one. Brendon was the perfect ending to this wonderful series about family and unconditional love. Can I talk about the Epilogue to Brendon??!! OMG!! The Epilogue to this book is one of the best epilogues to the end of a series that I have read. I truly thank Nicole Edwards for this one. Oh, and the added bonus of RT Trexler and Z from Sniper 1 Security making their appearances in Brendon to help Brendon protect Cheyenne was so fabulous and has me so pumped up for Never Say Never, book 2 in the Sniper 1 Security series. I absolutely love the way Nicole Edwards is always able to weave all of her series together, and that is one of the many reasons that Nicole Edwards is one of my go to authors. She writes, I buy and enjoy. I can honestly say I highly recommend Brendon or better yet, the Alluring Indulgences series.

Favorite Quotes
"I told you I'm not a nice guy. And no, I don't want to share you. But it's all I've ever known, Chey. I don't know any other way. I don't know how to talk to women, how to make them feel special. And I want all that shit with you. I'm just fucking clueless as to how I go about that." -Brendon

"I love you, Brendon. I love you with all that I am." -Chey

"I'll do whatever it takes to keep you. I think I've known since the day I met you that you were it for me. I didn't deal with it well, but I think I've known it. Does that mean it'll be easy? Probably not. Since we have two different lives, I'm sure it could get rather difficult. But I'm willin' to stick it out if you are." -Brendon

"You are my dreams, Chey. You're everything I never thought I'd have. You're the brightest light in my darkest days." -Brendon

This was the BEST I think of all the books. It wraps up the entire Alluring Indulgence series. And I think Brendon is the sweetest...though he was clueless with his feelings...he was still sweet. I still love Kaleb (he's the first) and Sawyer, but there's just something about Brendon's story that is intriguing and yes alluring. The sex is still HOT no taboo moments unlike some of his bros. But it was still amazingly HOT!!!!

Perfect ending to the series...(hmmm will there be a spinoff????? too many characters were introduced in Brendon...the cousins, the friends....there might be a story there....)

Wow just wow

I knew the last book was going to be tough to read and especially since it was on Brendan and Cheyanne. Those two hit around the bigs forever not doin a thing and just picking each other's buttons. This was one of the top most fav sires I have to say I've ever read. I have a tendency to enjoy the family books and this series had that and so much more. Nicole Edwards is an awesome writer and I can't wait to see what she does next. Till I read again

Again 5 stars because its Nicole. I loved that Brendon finally got his life together and he was fighting for what would make him happy. He finally started to talk about his feelings and so did Breydon. I loved the book...I did...but for some reason the last couple books have left me wanting. I don't feel fulfilled. I cant pin point what it is....but I'm left unsatisfied.

Brendon finally gets his happily ever after a and it's bittersweet. I'm so happy for Brendon but I'm so sad to say goodbye to the Walker family. I'm only hoping the nieces and nephews get their books....that way I can still get my Walker fix and know about the wedding and babies.
