An exciting story about witches and vampires. The story starts off fast with the death of Victoria's parents. Then we follow Victoria as she tries to be a normal teenage girl, but that does not last long. Once Victoria gets involved in the supernatural world the story gets a lot of action. Victoria meets a group of teenage witches and a goof vampire. That leads to more trouble and she has to outwit and fight evil vampires to save everyone. The story ends on a cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more. Victoria is a fierce heroine and her friends are great characters. An excellent book with the only problem being numerous editing errors. Perfect for fans of the Vampire Diaries, the Secret Circle, or the All Souls Trilogy. I received a copy in exchange for a honest review. I would to thank the sender for this great book.

Four years ago Victoria Wesley lost her parents. She is the only survivor in her family and she wants justice for her parents killers. Victoria is no ordinary teen, she is a Witch. She meets a group of Witches and a Vampire (Adrien). Soon she doesn't know who to trust, what is right and what is wrong. But she is willing to do what ever it takes, go up against the supernatural to seek the vengeance she needs.
The plot is original with Witches and Vampires and moves at a steady pace. There is a lot of action, drama, danger and supernatural events. I liked Victoria, she is a bit flawed, but what teenage girl is not? There are a lot of characters to follow, but with chapters from the past it is easy to keep up. overall I enjoyed Remains, and highly recommend to those (Y/A & Adults) who like this genre (supernatural/witches/vampires).
