After leaving the frozen tundra of the north, Madison was more surprised than anyone with how much she has enjoyed living in the desert. Seeing as she had stated on more than one occasion how much she hated the heat, it was an odd move. But it seemed her hatred for sub-zero temps and ice, or really the things that ice could do, won out in the end.
When she’s not writing, she’s enjoying time with her family. Madison and her family frequent festivals in the area, as well as local cultural events, and spend time with family in the area. In the summer she is most likely to be found in the pool with the family and in the winter by the fireplace. Since both her children are autistic, days can be a little chaotic but with her husband beside her, there’s nothing she can’t handle. Luckily he is also an author and able to share in all the activities (and chores) special needs kids require.

I like this author, but I hated Conor! Hated what he did and continued to do. I did not like Claire either but Shen deserved better. My rating is not because of the story or writing. It is purely because I disliked the characters.

Conor picks up at the end of Finn's, with Conor betraying Finn to go to his brother Ennis' family.
Claire and Conor have history. A history of young love that was ended by Conor's responsibility to his sister and his pride.
Now that Ennis no longer has a council member in his hands, he has assigned Conor to get Claire to their side, no matter what has to be done. But how is he suppose to go back to the women he hurt and has avoided at all costs the past 4 years?
Claire outed her former boss and has now gotten her dream job. But problems are still on the horizon between Finn, Ennis, and the Russians. Having Conor work for her isn't going to help make her life any easier. She knows she has to keep her heart safe, Conor's broken her heart before, and now that he's a traitor who's to say he won't again?

Oh my holy heck!!! Good one!
Wow, Claire is a spitfire and Teagan too!! I can't tell if Ennis has a heart or he is diabolical...could be both. I am super happy with the outcome of this book but worried about Boris...he is a little intense. I am liking all the secondary characters as well. I am so happy Conor and Claire could find their way back to each other...love sometimes can prevail!

I loved every single book I have ever read that Madison Stevens wrote. She is an amazing author and her stories just hook you from the start and holds you till the end.
It really did with me. I started reading it and couldn't stop. She is awesome. This book is just really hot and I wish I had a Conor for me. Yeah, that would be really nice.

Yup. Better and better
Totally love Claire. She is a very loving and forgiving woman. I wanted to hit Conner a few times. Finn is amazing as usual. I think we all know who Teagan's admirer is. I just hope he doesn't wait too long to come forward. Claire and Anna are so cool together. Can't wait to see who she ends up with... Keep these exciting and awesome books coming!!!!!

Enjoyed it
I really enjoyed this book, even though Conor was a rat he did it for the right reasons. He really did love Claire and she loved him im glad they made it work for them. I look forward to more of the Kelly Clan!

Kept me reading. Didn't like the Russian component, should have been just gang. It is a continuing story. Will read Noel.
