Being a beta means knowing your place. Submit. Obey. Survive. I've played my part perfectly—until him. Dr. Zinc, the brilliant, if insane, alpha prince searching for a cure to the virus that infects us all. And I'm his newest test subject.
He doesn't know that every time he draws my blood, he's one step closer to discovering my I'm not the submissive beta I pretend to be. One wrong move and it's the dissection table for me.
But as his own humanity slips away to the virus, I realize I might be the only one who can save him.
HEA guaranteed.
The Mad Prince is a standalone dark omegaverse romance with medical exam themes. It contains the following psychological darkness, insanity, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, amnesia, beauty and the beast, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, mad scientist, beast transformation, forbidden romance, doctor/patient, scalpels, medical experimentation, and hidden identity.
I love how unique this series is. It’s a hate/ love with me towards all the characters like every book in the series has been, which is the point. This series makes me feel so complicated about everyone’s feelings and decisions because everyone makes decisions on pure instinct, and I loved diving into it. All/most of the characters are pretty evil but it’s not exactly their fault so it twists my feelings.
With each book in the series, I keep expecting them to be similar, but they end up being so significantly different from each other. This one had the same world and story but focused on medical stuff and “medical play” which was way different than the first two.
I think this book would be a good choice for readers who like dark romance and horror who want a sci-fi mixed with omegaverse, truly unique.
5 out of 5 stars, never fails to make me love the books. -Omegaverse -Medical -Enemies To Lovers -Villain -Dystopian -Multi/Dual POV -Beta X Alpha
I fell in love with Swan and Dune in book 1, was fascinated and slightly freaked out by Oleander and Ivy in book 2 and now book 3 brought me Zinc and Tulip and I absolutely adore them.
Compared to the other two couples they actually seem normal and pretty level headed, which of course is far away from what would be considered normal by normal standards, but on Sirius?
The diversity and range of the books within this series is fascinating. The entire world Belle Knock has created is fascinating and so complex. There is always more to the stories and nothing is as it first seems.
I know this genre is not for everyone but if you're open minded for a little craziness and really let yourself get sucked into the stories, I promise you won't be disappointed.
I for one can't wait to get my hands on Dvorak's story and everything else that is still to come in Belle Knocks beautiful crazy sci fi world.
I love all the books by this author and again she has written a great book! I love her books original ideas and her characters are really likeable and feel real. Even though the stories are sci/fi you have complete suspension of disbelief and immerse into the story. They are refreshing and very enjoyable, I can’t believe anyone could not like it, its so great! Xx
This book is terrible. It’s FULL of typos and misspelled words. So many that I wonder how even a cursory edit through word or even google doc didn’t catch them, much less a live editor
It’s also got weak character development and story. Book one was compelling but I made it perhaps to 80% on this one and it’s just bad. So disappointing
I randomly picked this book. When I started reading, I realized I was familiar with the characters and kept on reading. It is a fun book with adult action, crazy characters, women with spunk and handsome men.
I got the book because of the cover and I'm glad I did. It turned out to be a good story. I'm newer to the Omegaverse and this was a different take than what I've seen so far. I do wish there was more to the ending though even the Epilogue was too short.
This is a genuinely unique version of a Jekyll and Hyde story, told with an Omegaverse twist. It's very entertaining. It reads perfectly well as a standalone story, even within the series. It's well written and creative. A good read.
