The Game Never Changes

by Nicole Jackson

Raven and Jahrein from Hold It Down: Like Sister and Brother are back! The two are now joined by Raven’s cousin Trinity and her new Boo Sincere. Sincere hails from New York, and wants to get his feet wet in Houston’s drug trade. Jahrein is the man to see, and when the two link up there’s no holds barred. Getting money should be the motive, but all bets are off when Sincere brings his cousin and brother Chad and Shareef to Houston. Immediately, the two are sidetracked when they’re introduced to true southern hospitality in the form of two beautiful women. Shareef is instantly smitten by this chick’s poise and beauty. There’s just one problem. Raven is indisputably taken. Still, Shareef is confident that he can get her, and any other woman. But the one thing he doesn’t count on is the hustlers being just as vicious as the ones he’d left back in the Big Apple. Being hard headed Shareef will have to learn that no matter the place…The Game Never Changes.
And stay tuned until the end for a 4 chapter sneak peek of She Got It 2: Gotta Get It

Okay..... Naw this was a good read. It had drama in it. Raven has grown from the first book I must admit she still needs to forgive her husband an b a stepmother to his other son, that baby needs love the love that she giving her seven kids, Jah is the man he knows everything. Sin and Trinty i'm liking there bond I hope that she come around if that other baby is his. I can't wait to see what happens next. On to her next book.

I'm usually a fan of Nicole Jackson's books but this one didn't really work for me. There were quite a few editing issues that were hard to overlook. I'm hoping there will be a part 2 in order to give some sort of conclusion to this story because I feel like the book just stopped at the end.

[Candice M Johnson · Rating 5 out of 5]

The end.....?

I was more pleased with this book compared to some others by Nicole Jackson. I was glad that Trinity didn't get trashed by love like some of her other female characters.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Game Never Changes is absolutely worth the read. 😭❤️

No spoilers, but if you enjoy Nicole Jackson’s style of writing, connected characters, hood drama, loyalty, betrayal, relationships, and people making decisions that have REAL consequences, you’ll probably enjoy this one too.

One thing Nicole Jackson always does well is make her characters feel like actual people. Sometimes you’ll love them, sometimes you’ll want to shake them, and sometimes you’ll be yelling at the book. 😂 But you’ll definitely stay invested in what happens next.

This was another solid entry into the Nicole Jackson universe and a reminder that no matter how many books I read from her catalog, she always manages to keep me entertained.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It’s crazy that Jahrien knew about Raven & Shareef. I just knew Jahrien & Sincere was gonna fall out behind Raven & Shareef’s affair. I’m glad Jahrien was player about the whole situation. He kept his beef with Shareef, and not Sincere. Sometimes getting your lick back just isn’t worth it. Especially when you’re just loud & wrong, and Raven was definitely both! I’m glad Dina came through in the clutch. What can I say … this book was another BOMB 10 outta 10 from the author!

[Kersha · Rating 5 out of 5]

another banger

Nicole never misses with me! I enjoyed Trinity and Sincere’s story a lot. I always love the cheating, drama, mess and spice in these books it’s makes for a great story. Raven & Jah need to get it together, also wanted to know the outcome of JJ and his living situation.

[Shaunphoo · Rating 5 out of 5]

Already!

Jah and Raven have been through some shattt! I love that they manage to stick together through it all. Sin and Trinity had a crazy start in the beginning but in the end it was well worth it. Lawd I just love Nicole books!

[Erica David · Rating 5 out of 5]

Dang

Greed will get you everytime. See you don't mess with nobody wife or mate! But I can say them girls was stupid. 7 kids come on now! How stupid can you be. Now the cousin followed her big cousin and was stupid too.

[Angelia Rhodes · Rating 4 out of 5]

Game Changer

I guess I'm my brother's keeper don't apply here. Jason was a snake I see. I hate that about Jared. Money and women got these men losing their ever loving minds. Geesh!!!

[Chiquita · Rating 5 out of 5]

Enjoyed this book. I really liked Sin and trinity. Great job to the author. I'm looking forward to reading more books

Smh

Raven was outta control man! Sincere was doing the most too! But his brother was doing the most and sadly got what he deserved

[Kris Danielle · Rating 4 out of 5]

TGNC

Good book. Mad it ended at 86%. Shared for what he had coming to him. I'm happy Sin and Trin stayed together. Few errors.

The Game Never Changes

This was a good read, only thing I didn't like was that it ended at 83%. Loved that Jahrien and Raven were in the book!

[Katrina and her Kindle · Rating 2 out of 5]

Having Raven turn into a bop after 50-11 kids was crazy. Sincere immediately shitting on Trinity after having his baby after she done helped his raggedy ass out while fresh out of prison is even crazier. Everybody in the book worked my nerves in the worst way.

[Renessa D Jackson · Rating 5 out of 5]

In this book I was really moved by Sin and his struggle to maintain so far away from home and everybody he knows. Love can feel the sorrow he has as he gets out of the jail with so little money and so little choice. He does not give up and get straight to his grind. Meeting Trinity and getting put on made him even more appealing. He is also understanding and willing to listen, especially when he knows he has done wrong. Now Raven blew my mind in this book. I can understand her original misunderstanding of what went on with Jahrein and Melissa, but when she found out was just him taking care of his son she should have fell in line. Her choices were stupid and immature. Especially when those choices led to her home being shot up endangering her children. Raven has to learn she cannot F*ck outside men without serious consequences.

[Litisha Jenkins · Rating 5 out of 5]

This book

This book right here was good. Nicole Jackson did her thing again. I love the way she use characters from her other books to help the storyline. All the couple's in this book were good couple's and the ladies were some down chicks that didn't take no mess. The men were those get money boys. I just truly enjoyed this book.

[akeyshia · Rating 5 out of 5]

Great read

I love the couples. I see that each couples has to go through lessons learned and experiences before they learn how to love but these stories are written based on reality and i like that. Raven is having a hard time excepting JJ but I know she will come around because in the book Freeze JJ is living with them now.

[Maya · Rating 5 out of 5]

What a book

Another good read,I couldn't put this book down until I finished. I hope this isn't the end of Sincere,Trinity,Raven, and Jahrein. Jealousy is the root of all evil and this book clearly shows it. I'm glad each scandalous person got exactly what they deserved.

[Somora · Rating 5 out of 5]
