About the author

Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy called as Cho Ramaswamy (Tamil: சோ ராமசுவாமி) is a comedian, editor, political satirist, playwright and lawyer in Tamil Nadu. He is the founder and editor of the Tamil magazine, Thuglak. His popularity in the Tamil Nadu literary circles is mainly due to his impartial assessment of political issues, and the audacity with which he publishes his viewpoints.

Cho is probably India's Forrest Gump, but unlike Gump, has really been involved in all the major events, with the who's who of politics, journalism and cinema. The book gives an almost impartial account of post independent Indian politics till the '90s. Funny, honest and filled with interesting experiences, this book is a great read. Much respect for the author.

The most versatile personality of Tamilnadu, has penned this book, which is about his experiences in drama, film and politics world. The books gives a view into the life of Cho and his numerous experiences while meeting with actors, political leaders, ministers and PMs.

இதிகாசத்துக்கு "தேவரிஷி பிரகஸ்பதி" என்றால்,
கலியுக அரசியலுக்கு, "சோ".
1960களுக்கு பிறகான இந்திய அரசியல் பின்புல வரலாற்றில், தவிர்க்க முடியாதவரவாக இருந்திருக்கிறார், திரு.சோ.

1950களில் தொடங்கிய அவரது பொதுவாழ்க்கை,
அதாவது வழக்குரைஞராக, சட்ட ஆலோசகராக, நாடக சினிமா நடிகர்/இயக்குநராக, தேர்ந்த பத்திரிக்கையாளராக, அரசியல் ஆலோசகராக
கடைசி வரை இருந்துள்ளார்.

திரு.சோ அவர்கள் எவ்வளவு தைரியமானவர் என்பதைனையும்,

போலவே, 2015லும் இரண்டாம் முறையும் மோடியே பிரதமர் ஆவார் என தனது நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.

ஆகவே, இவரது கட்டுரைகளில் சொல்லியிருப்பதை "மிகைப்படுத்தல்" என்பதாக நம்புவதற்கில்லை.

The book is about the author's experience with various personalities covering the key events in Indian political history. What started as a personal memoir soon took a turn describing the political events of the day and the people behind it and the decisions that went with it. Cho's satire is unmatchable and reading this book was a whole new experience. Loved it.
