I give this book a three out of ten overall since this book is in a series of books, where this book would be in the middle, towards the end. The book is about an amateur soccer team playing near Madrid, Spain, formed up of teenagers who face off against what they have been hoping for all season, to win the league. The book's author, Luigi Garlando, starts off the book by introducing all the characters, being where it is centered on Gastón Champignon, a famous chef and also the team's manager. The team is challenged days before the big game by players of the team they will face. The rival team's players pull ill-spirited pranks against them, like, for example, shutting down the power while Gastón Champignon's team is training, leaving the team to train in pitch black conditions. Yet, Gastón Champignon finds ways to overcome this problem, where he calls one of his friends, and he brings them headlamps and flashlights to use so they can see. Gastón Champignon expresses throughout the book life lessons, from overcoming challenges to relaxing and finding mental peace when you are very stressed.
However, I did feel like I needed some background information in certain instances. For example, the book spoke of some events in the past that I did not know of, not mentioned in the book. Therefore, this hindered my understanding of the book. But yet, I still did like this book, having author Garlando give interesting situations throughout the book that bring comedy to it overall.
