Just ok

The book was ok .....there was a few helpful tips in this book .....not really for people using peaceful mode.

Bought this for my 9-year-old nephew for Christmas. I've played Minecraft a little, and read through to see what it was like. There are maybe 100 1-2 sentence tips accompanied by black and white photos. It's self-published, and has a print-on-demand look. The text on the last tip was cut off. Content-wise, there were maybe 2-3 things I didn't know, same for my nephew. And of those, we couldn't get 2 of the tips to actually work (on PC version). Seems most of this info could be found on the internet, but still might be a good book for someone who is relatively new to the game.

You should try it...

It's good and gives advice on mine craft. Sadly some of that stuff does not work on Xbox 360 or pocket edition.
