I love this author's writing style. The fact that I got emotionally distraught within 4 pages is exactly why. I am devouring everything I can from him right now after having read the 3:53 AM books. The writing he does is always so realistic but peppered with so much veiled emotion. I just love it and can't get enough.

3.5 stars. I did enjoy this very brief story. I picked it up as an Amazon freebie.
Without knowing much about the character and his trials and tribulations, the reader sstill feels empathy for him.
