An excellent trio of early prehistoric fiction

A fine collection of novels set at the dawn of time. The stories are interesting as representatives of what was known regarding remote prehistory from 1890 to 1920 or so. Keep that in mind while reading. I would recommend these novels to anyone interested in paleo fantasy fiction.

I bought this book because it included a prehistoric novel by Jack London. All three books were entertaining and well written. Each authors' imagination provided a glimpse into what the prehistoric world might have been like, some logical, some not.

The first two books are hard to read, but the 3rd book The story of Ab is really exciting.

This was a great series and now I am reading it to my son who is a dinosaur fan. The writing is beautiful and has an old fashioned quality to it.

Steady progression back when

The three books were fluid enough to follow the story line. No super heroes but archeology from the male point of view

Boring

Writing has not been updated to current style. Difficult to get into. Put me asleep. The cost was minimal, thank goodness for that.

All three were written before1920 and are a sort of science fantasy like a Tarzan novel. Good stuff.
