This book is a typical nonfictional book that can be introduced in Kindergarten. It goes over the alphabet in relation to corresponding pictures that go with the letters. For example, "Aa" is used for "alligator". It gives students the opportunity to understand the alphabet and have fun reading. This author relates letters and uses pictures to show real-life experiences for young readers. This book is durable, colorful, and educational!
I really like this book. Like other "letter" books, it shows each letter and example of a word that starts with that letter. What makes this special are questions that come after the word that encourage interaction between reader and child. Also, the objects described are all found in real paintings. After reading this book I'll be looking for some more Baby Einstein books.
This book has large cardboard pages that are easy for little fingers to turn. I like the page with the village flying kites the most. I like to point to kites and see them flying in the sky. I also like to pretend to eat the fruit and look at the bunny and lizard.
This book uses pieces of art, identifying items in each work that start with certain letters of the alphabet. It's also interactive; there is a question to ask the child about each item.
