This book had traits of Agatha Christie, Robert Goddard and other great crime writers.
The story begins in the summer of 1943, a baby boy is found in a German cemetery, his murdered parents lying at his side. That is where the guessing begins and pulling on the reader's WW2 knowledge. Were they Jews fleeing the Nazis, but why was the boy spared?
This story had me guessing all the way through, when I thought I knew what had happened there was another twist just around the corner.
I enjoyed Alex Thomson style of writing and he has spent time researching the historical part of the book.
I am now seeking this author out as he has the potential to be producing some blockbuster novels.
