Algebra I: A Process Approach stimulates students to think critically. Algebraic concepts and skills are developed through problem-solving tasks. The course begins with problem-solving strategies, then moves through the real numbers, equations and inequalities, graphing, functions, systems of equations and inequalities, polynomials, products and factors, quadratic equations, rational expressions and equations, and radical expressions and equations. The student text includes readings, problem sets, and discussions of solutions.
