Willow Blake has everything she's ever wanted - a sexy new boyfriend, a new best friend and a stable life away from the past that haunts her across the country.
But when Reed comes back for a visit from Boston, will she still choose Kellan? And does Kellan even want her? He's hiding something big, and she's determined to find it, all the while not realizing her own life may be at risk.
With lots of twists and turns, Forgiven is a story about love, passion and mystery. Are happy endings really meant to be for two ruined people?

So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
I had really high hopes for this book and was slightly disappointed. For one, the first 25-30% of the book is summarizing what happened in the first book. Second, it felt like there was too much going on in a short amount of time. There's Kellen problems, Reed is back in the picture, scary break-ins, mysterious packages, and anonymous threatening letters. None developed enough, it felt really rushed. The situation with Emmy and Reed was disappointing.... There was no lead up and it was glossed over quickly. Kellen and Willow go from not talking and not even living together to happy in love. I just felt like it needed more plot and character development in this book. I did like that there is a happy ending though.

I really wanted to love this book but it didn't do it for me. This book moved slow like the first. The love story between Willow & Reed was just boring. There was no spark. There was a bit of a twist that helped the story along. All in all it was an alright read.
I really wanted to love the sequel to Ruined but I thought it ended the way it should have been. I could of dealt without reading this one. Overall still a good read with some suspense and drama involved.
This book seems to only be a recap of ruined. Kind of annoying. There is no connection to the characters and i was actually confused about what was going on half the time!
