The Bridge #2

The Encore: A Companion Novelette

Rate this book
Natalie’s List of Necessary Vacation Items:

- One small bottle of RICA after wax lotion with Argan oil (Because a lady always tends to her garden.)

- One Diane von Furstenberg red wrap dress (Chris’ favorite. Mainly because of the easy access.)

- Monogrammed swimsuit cover-up, monogrammed tennis polo, monogrammed toiletries bag (Who am I kidding? Monogrammed flask!)

- Body glitter and blond wig (Because Adam lost a bet and I have plans to embarrass the shit out of him.)

- One sandwich hidden safely in Chris’ golf shoes (Chloe and I are never too old to pass the Dutchie.)

Every memorable rock concert must come to an end, but not until the audience is rewarded with a special encore. Join the ensemble of The Bridge Series as they commence the annual Ford/Brooks summer vacation. Full of mishaps, humor, and a few secrets along the way, this novelette can only be compared to the “vacation episode” of classic sitcoms. From the hilarious voice of Natalie Brooks - The Encore.

“All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems… But all these stars are silent. You-You alone will have stars as no one else has them… In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me… You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure… It will be as if, in place of the stars, I had given you a great number of little bells that knew how to laugh”

The Little Prince

Interlude, is in the POV of Chloe’s (Ballad’s witty narrator) sarcastic, take the bull, cousin. We follow her through a heartfelt friendship. The Little Prince plays a beautiful backdrop.

LOVE. Like Ballad, Pullo can pull your heartstrings, make you pee your pants laughing and tears rolling down ur face the next second, and you will feel connected to these characters within a 45 page novelette that most authors can’t achieve in 500. As an avid La Petit Prince fan, I loved the imagery that links the story. You can tell that a lot of thought and detail goes into her writing. I absolutely recommend it and I hope you will love this story as much as I did. Enjoy.

I am beyond selective with my five stars. Here I have been spending five bucks on crap stories that blend and blend. Here is the deal with Pullo's book. The characters are gold. The writing is fun, sarcastic, and unique. The emotions are real. Pullo can pull your heartstrings, make you pee your pants laughing and tears rolling down ur face the next second, and you will feel connected to these characters within each 45 page novelette that most authors can't achieve in 500. You can tell that a lot of thought and detail goes into her writing. She writes intelligent and witty. I absolutely recommend it and I hope you will enjoy her stories as much as I do. Enjoy.

Holy crap! You have to read this book, like NOW. This is the follow-up to The Ballad. I want to shout from my roof top about how much these two books intrigued me, but I can't because my house isn't big enough, so standing on the roof wouldn't do any good. And failing to get the word out isn't an option here. When I wrote my review on The Ballad, I wrote that Ashley Pullo was an author to watch. And with this collection of Novelette's, she did not disappoint or make me a liar.

Here's the thing, Intermission is a collection of 4 short stories or novelette's about the past of the main characters of The Ballad: Chloe, Adam, Natalie, and a new character, Zach Parker. Ashley's writing is so good that as you read each short story, you are given such complete characters and plot that you don't realize you just read a short story, she packs so much into them and they were so well done I didn't feel slighted.

There are different dates given within each selection and they are used as chapter headings. This gives us a guide or time line to follow as we learn about each character. I LOVED IT.

The Interlude:
Interlude is about Natalie Lagrange. I loved her in The Ballad. I loved her witty sense of humor. Natalie is fiercely independent, a risk taker, a little self-absorbed, she speaks her mind and doesn't much care what others think of her. (Gosh, I wish I could be a little like Natalie.)

Natalie wants away from the stifling country club life of her parents. She has big city dreams, she wants the Sex in the City life. She certainly has the personality to carry it off, she just needs a break to get her there.

Her break comes on a train in the form of "sandy brown hair, smoldering navy eyes, bitable pink lips, broad shoulders and muscular thighs"... Zach Parker. The chemistry between them is instant and holy hotness ... I fanned myself several times while reading... these two definitely could cause a fire to combust with the sparks flying between them.

"Holy shit, I thought women like you were an urban legend. I'm Zach, and before we make plans to go to the library, let's discuss the sex."

And they do, in the cab on the way to his apartment where they "enjoy" each other's company all night long. (See...H O T). They do have some conversation while together about dreams and life. An instant friendship develops. The two become inseparable. When Zach reveals his mother's health is failing quickly due to the effects of working at ground zero after 9/11, BAM, my heart was ripped from my chest! I could feel the pain Zach was feeling, I cried his tears when he cried about her life being over. My heart ached for him.

Out of anger at the devastation of 911, Zach joined the Marines. This is a story of what could have been. I wonder what there story would be had he met her before he made the decision to join the Marines? Would he have chosen to go and fight in his mother's honor having known Natalie and what they have and could have together? I don't know. He represents our true hero's.

"Have you ever wanted something so badly that you would sacrifice a life in order to save one?"

"No, no, you cannot leave me. Absolutely not. What about your family? What about me?"

"This was decided long before I met you and I didn't realize I would fall so deeply in love with you."

Uh, ya, I was a blubbering idiot. Ashley toyed with my emotions with this one.

The Interpretation:
This is about the young 18-year-old, music loving Chloe. As she struggles through young adulthood to find her real self. To discover who she is. This girl's a wild child! Ha! She and Nat sure had a crazy, full young adulthood. These two together experienced underage drinking in a bar, a swingers party, a one night stand and a psychic. Of all these events, it's the psychic who would have the biggest impact on Chloe, even tho she doesn't really believe in them. I loved Madame Clarice, her insight was perfectly beautiful.

"Your aura is a contradiction - only one man will be able to interpret your psyche."

The Intermezzo:
This is narrated by Zach Parker and is truly a sweet love story. Zach comes back home from leave for a few short days, and surprises Natalie. The love story between these two is absolutely stunning! We get to watch as they fall in love with each other.

Zach also visits with his mother. He doesn't know how much time she has left and that scares him.

"I thought I could do it - but I can't. She's alone. How can I let my mother die alone?"

When he returns to Afghanistan, we see him struggle with being away from his love Natalie and his sense of duty. I adored reading their touching, funny and sexy as hell love letters to each other!

"Je ne regrette rien, because I found everything.

The MisInterpretation:
Ah, and here we get to meet the young, 18-year-old Adam Ford from The Ballad. I have missed him! A chance encounter with a beautiful girl at a party sets Adam's future in motion.

"And that's that. My first taste of the unexpected returns to her house never to be seen again. A perceptive mistake - a misinterpretation. And it will forever be the moment that began my pursuit to find the girl that makes me smile."

Pullo had me laughing, swooning, panting and bawling! But it was so worth it. This is a MUST READ!

With the 4th novella in the Bridge series, Ashley Pullo takes us on a short, cute, witty, funny journey, that begins with the annual zany LeGrange now Ford/Brooks vacation, and culminates with Natalie proving she's more than just the party girl.

This is about Natalie, the snarky, funny, quick to speak her mind awesome woman, coming full circle and - dare I say it - growing up! Natalie is my favorite character in this series. I have loved reading about her strength of character and carefree attitude.

I enjoyed how Pullo wove tender moments within the funny, bringing the reader back to her previous work:

"I had the jeweler put it on a twenty-inch chain so it sits lower than your star,"

I loved the ending. Ashley can write funny and snarky, and she can be witty, but dang, she sure knows how to tug those heart strings too.

***The Bridge Series should be read in order****

I was given a warning prior to opening this one. SO I shall give you the same " have your kleenex box handy." I would say this is the most emotional out of the Bridge Series. For me, at least. You see what a beautiful person Natalie is. You view her through Zach's eyes. The story is short but- precise, hilarious, heartfelt. I have yet to read a novella from another author that can pack so much into less than 100 pages. One second you are fanning urself, to the lump in the throat, smile on your face, tears streaming down, another laugh, and it goes on. . . I applaud Ashley again. You amaze me. I already have my perfect ending in my head in case she doesn't touch on these two again. But, GOD, I hope she does.

Cheers to: Edith Piaf, Mario Lopez's dimples, Sladder, tiny American flags, Dickensian carolers, 2. megapixel digital cameras, embarrassing/ loving parents, turkey bacon, plaster molds, last but not least- to the stars.

"I will be your light in the darkness and the pleasure during your despair. I am more than just your star, I will forever be your beacon."

"My first night on base, I looked to the sky and claimed the brightest star. I made her mine and gave her a name. Natalie winked at me. Natalie laughed with me and Natalie reminded me that stars are always present."

This book contains four great stories.
The Interlude- this is the story of how Natalie and the oh so hot Zach met. Although short this is a lovely intense story.
The Interpretation- this is a lovely fun sisterly story of Natalie and Chloe.
The Intermezzo- Natalie and Zach. I loved this story.
The Misinterpretation- in this story we read about Adam and Chloe. Another lovely story.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Another piece of art written by this author.

Wow! We always knew that the LaGranges were eccentric, but Natalie was definitely the more twisted of the two "sisters". And that was exactly how the book started. Crazy, eccentric and at points making me want to cringe. But the ending felt like it ripped my heart out, but in a good way though. Despite being brief, it was so much more emotional than Chloe and Adam's story. It was a great novella. I just wished there was more...

THIS I loved!!! I NEED more of Nat and Zach!!! What an amazing story!!! I was surprised by this reaction, considering I wasn't so fond of The Ballad. That being said, I understand the form it was written in, but I think this was written WAY better!!! Great job!!!!

Every time I sit down to read a book I hope for a truly great story. With Intermission I got 4 outstanding stories. Intermission is 4 novelettes combined into one book. Each is its own separate story set in the past. Intermission can be read alone, but since I had already read The Ballad (the first book in The Bridge series) it was that much more enjoyable for me to see these wonderful characters again but now even further into their past.

FIRST - I love the titles of these books. Each has a unique meaning that you will find within the novelettes.

The Interlude – In the Interlude we get a more up close look into the life of Natalie LeGrange and how she meets the one and only HOT as sin Zach “Attack” Parker. Author Ashley Pullo did not hold back with the instant fireworks between these two. Their brief interlude may have been short and red hot, but it left an everlasting burn and desire that only the other can quench. I can only hope that they will get their HEA. Both these characters and their stories really touched my heart. It is a very intense love these two share for one another that can only be understood by reading their story.

The Interpretation – This was a fun and uplifting moment in the novelettes. We get to see Chloe and her sister Natalie take on the night life and party it up like only two sisters could do. These ladies are so much fun to read about. Not only do they know how to get into trouble but, they also have each other’s backs. Chloe and Natalie head out for a night on the town to celebrate Chloe’s 18th birthday. After visiting a psychic Chloe sets out to interpret every little detail of her foretold future. By her 25th birthday she finds a different truth. Living in the moment and seeking her balance in the perfect song.

The Intermezzo – Another glimpse into the stars and dreams of Natalie and Zach. This one had me in tears. GOD I so want these two to work but life right now is keeping them apart. How these two can manage to be apart for so long with such an intense desire to touch the other and hold them in their arms will just rip your heart out. Have no fear it is not all sad. There is that wonderful witty and sarcastic banter between these two characters that makes even the saddest goodbye a time to smile. And then there is the “Zach Attack”.

Oh Ashley you have got to give me more of Zach and please make it a HEA.

The Misinterpretation – Although I am madly in love with Zach I also have a special place in my heart for Adam Ford. After all he is the ultimate mysterious man with a beautiful breathtaking smile he only shares with one woman, Chloe.

In the Misinterpretation we get to see Adam and Chloe cross paths but don’t officially met. Pay close attention to how The Interpretation and The Misinterpretation relate and interlink with each other. This is a very important part in Adam Ford’s life. His perceptive mistake – a misinterpretation will be the moment in life he will not forget but will set him on the path to finding the one girl that makes him smile.

My final thoughts
When author Ashley Pullo writes you don’t just get a story on paper. You get a lifetimes worth of events. She can take you in one direction with her funny, unique wit and attention to detail and then grip you by the heart and have you balling like a baby. And she can do this ALL IN ONE SENTENCE!! Phenomenal writing matched with sarcastic witty humor is priceless when found in an author that can portray it on paper. I truly feel I have found a uniquely talented author in Ashley Pullo. I cannot wait to see what is next in The Bridge series.

On a rare occasion, a book or a series comes along and it’s so touching, so riveting, so authentic and so relevant that it just seeps into your soul. You become so immersed in that world that you take those characters into your heart and they stay with you forever. That is how I feel about the entire Bridge series by Ashley Pullo. This series is why I read. The author was able to build this world of everyday people and evoke so much emotion. Throughout this journey, I laughed…I cried…I hurt…and I loved with these characters. The way she writes dialogue and description draws me into this world with Chloe, Adam, Natalie, Zach and Chris, and I become just as much a part of it as they are. I feel like I lived their experiences right along with them. That is as sign of true talent.

The Encore, the final installment in The Bridge series, takes the reader on a fun summer vacation with Natalie, Chris, Chloe and Adam to Las Vegas and San Francisco. Told from Natalie’s point of view, the reader gets to experience the relationship between Natalie and Chris, which is playful and at times so touching, that I was in tears. It was so easy to fall in love with Chris and his Texan charm.

One of the many things I enjoy about this series is how love prevails - not just romantic love, but love between family and friends. I enjoyed the witty repartee between Chloe and Natalie in this novelette. I felt like I was getting a unique look into a close relationship between two girlfriends. Ashley is a powerhouse at making you laugh at the beginning of a scene and then closing it with you in tears due to the heavy emotion it brings to the reader. I’m amazed every time. And yes, the reader does get more of Chloe and Adam “Private” Ford… and I have to say the reader gets to see a whole new side of Adam. I have never laughed so hard!

I don’t want to give anything away from the plot because it is such a fun and charming read. All readers of The Bridge series do not want to miss this quick read. And Ashley truly comes full circle with the ending. It’s emotional, poignant and just perfect. If you haven’t had the opportunity to read this series, I strongly encourage you do so. Ashley takes the reader on an authentic journey with ordinary people and makes it extraordinary with her quick wit, smart dialogue and eloquent description.

I would like to thank Ashley Pullo for creating one of the best series I’ve ever read. It’s truly a sensory experience and I appreciate you sharing these wonderful characters with us. Thank you for giving us one last experience with them. I am truly sad that the journey is over. Le fin.

After finishing The Ballad and falling so madly in love with it, I immediately went to Amazon and got this. What I loved so much about the first book was the relationship between Chloe & Adam, and I knew going in that these novellas weren't going to cover that so I was maybe a wee bit wary about whether that would affect my enjoyment of this world.

It was a dumb thing to worry about, because I was not disappointed at all. The book has four novellas in it - one teenage Chloe before Natalie goes to Connecticut and the pre-Adam years of spontaneity encouraged by a psychic & the last one showing a teenage Adam crashing a party in Toronto with his friends...fate is a funny thing.

I did love Adam and Chloe's stories here...I love them so it is not a hardship to read about them in their younger years, but as hard as it was to believe going in, I think I actually enjoyed the other two novellas even more that focused on Chloe's cousin Natalie (who we met briefly in The Ballad) and her new best friend/lover/perfect match Zach.

Zach's a marine and pretty amazing and they seem perfect for each other, but life gets in the way for them as he disappears off to Afghanistan leaving her with his apartment to stay in (rent free for a year) and a job in the big city. I don't know how it's going to end for these two but the last letter in The Intermezzo novella was beautiful and haunting and made me root for these two almost as much as I was rooting for Chloe and Adam. I don't think I will ever be able to hear Edith Piaf sing that song without thinking of Zach and Natalie...I cannot wait to see what becomes of them, for good, for bad or for worse.

Anyway, this is a wonderful little universe and if you loved The Ballad, then this is a really nice accompaniment and you won't be disappointed.

The moment I met Natalia – I just knew she is a force to be reckon with, and I can’t just to wait to read more about her in Intermission.

Intermission is a group of four Novelettes told from different POVS.

First in the Interlude, where we met and get close to Natalia Le Grange, whom we all loved from The Ballad. I love her feistiness and wickedness. She is an amazing girl with a strong personality who is not afraid to go after what she wants and speaks whatever her mind tells her to. Her life was pretty much boring, and she wanted to have a break and experience life in the big city, until she meets Zach Parker on the train. The chemistry was undeniable, and you can practically see sparks everywhere. The two of them together can ignite my kindle. They become inseparable since then. Then Zach revealed about his mother’s health – which was greatly affected working at ground zero after 9/11 – my heart went out to him. It was what made him decide to join the Marines. Then, this would just make you wonder – what if they met first – would his decision be any different? Would he still enlist? Or would he stay with Nat?

In the Interpretation, we got a glimpse of Chloe as an 18-year-old fun loving girl who is in search of herself. The next is the Intermezzo, which is narrated by Zach whom I can’t help but fall in love with. He came home from leave for a short vacation and surprised Natalie. I don’t know how these two made it, considering Nat, but watching them together would have made you say they were meant for each other. I wished they’d end up together, but Ashley has something different in mind. Lastly, the MisInterpretation, to see the 18-year old Adam Ford was just refreshing. I was so glad to see him. This story tells about his chance-encounter with a beautiful girl in a party that would change his life…

How can these short stories be that amazing? Beautifully written, filled with emotions, and you wouldn’t have the heart to put it down until you finally reach the end.

I have said it before and I will say it again- I love this author. Much like The Ballad and Interlude, The Interpretation is handled with care. I devoured it much as I had done the other two. This author provides everything I am looking for in my books- through story, well developed characters, witty/intelligent writing, sharp banter, with an underlying philosophical wisdom.

Another short novella from The Bridge Series, The Interpretation, is a coming of age story told through the beautiful and witty POV of Chloe- nothing stereotypical about this story because Chloe is 110% unique. I absolutely loved the relationship between Hootie and the Blowfish. Once again Ashley Pullo’s work is hilarious, and put a damn smile on my face through the whole thing. I cannot get enough. That’s what she said.

Cheers to: sex minutes, a Slow Comfortable Screw Up Against the Wall, tattoos of a two-story colonial with a picket fence, aunt E’s dirty book collection, Ad-rock from Beastie Boys, growing trees, Princes among stars, whiskers on your chin, hope in a bottle, Fire Island, overall shorts, Frisbees, Rita Hayworth, Spike and Buffy on the roof, Marky Mark, epiphany named Pablo, & last but not least- living in the . F*in. Moment.

If you feel comfort in any of the random words I cheered, randomness in general, hidden meanings, Hootie and Blowfish, music defining a moment, stringing words together as inside jokes, really sharp authors- then you, yes you, should absolutely pick up this book and the series because it is, like, amazing.

I can not wait to get in Adam's head. I know Ashley Pullo can probably write a mean male POV, and add the fact that Adam is pretty amazing=one hell of a book.

4 1/2 stars! This was simply breathtaking!! Rarely do I read a book and become so obsessed with a BBF. So obsessed, so completely in love: he is my current Top, seriously swoon worthy, and his French...sigh!!
This book is a series of 4 novelettes, that becomes part two to this amazing series that I was recommended to read from a fellow Vixen. I feel this book could totally be read as a standalone, yet it was great to catch up with favourite characters from book 1.
The main stories were about Natalie's forming relationship with Zachary. Absolutely gorgeous, starting with a flirtatious train ride that turned into more. I loved their coming together, the banter, the sexiness. Just lovely, and natural and organic without any created drama. The angst comes when things around them are revealed, which I'm not willing to share. Read this blind, like I did. The ensuing love letters, emails, continuing to get to know each other through distance, was just... (Sigh) delicious!! I ached for them, falling in love.
Spacing out these novelettes, are stories in Chloe's point of view, and also Adams point of view, who we met in book 1. Only these take place before Chloe and Adam even met, and are a wonderful window of time, allowing us to know the spirit of these favourite characters even better.
Natalie and Zach's story remains open, I am desperate for Zach to come home to Natalie safe. Really looking forward to reading the next book!! I highly recommend this series, it's quickly become one of my favourites this year.

I went into this book having not read any of the Bridge Series before, but I don't think it mattered. I fell in love with each individual story and their characters. The author was able to give me peaks into everyone's past that I didn't feel I was missing anything. With such short stories, that very difficult to do, but the author was able to make the reader feel connected to the characters and experience all of the stories beautifully.

As the synopsis says, this is 4 individual stories, told from different points of views. The first three don't seem related, but they are all pulled together in the fourth story. I went through a roller coaster of emotions while reading. One of the stories was a fun read, The Interpretation, which had me laughing out loud. The Intermezzo was so sad I had tears in my eyes many times. Then there was the sexual tension in The Interlude.

My suggestion is to pay attention to the little details in each story. They may become relevant later on. I think if I were to re-read this book, I would put more of the puzzle pieces together.

This one was a little hard for me to write a review for, because I loved The Ballad, and I think Ashley is an amazing author. However, I was not as big a fan of this one. I realize it's supposed to be a short story, and just a small relationship in the course of Natalie's MANY relationships, but it sort of hit me as a waste of a grand story. Now, before anyone gets offended, it's not that I hated the story, I enjoyed it very much. It was quirky and funny, and touching all at the same time. And of course I love Ashley's wonderful way with words, and her ability to paint a scene so well. It's only that I so enjoyed the chemistry between Natalie and Zach, and I recognized the possibility of writing this into a full novel. Instead, at the end I was sort of left feeling uncompleted and disappointed that was where they were leaving things. It's my hope that the next full novel of Ms. Pullo's is Natalie's redemption.

Beautifully written closure to the series. Don't read this book without reading the previous three.

I'm not sure how the author packed so much into so few pages, but thank goodness she added the encore that tied up so many loose ends and gave me the HEA feeling I needed to close out the series and say goodbye to my new book best friends.

If you can, read these books back-to-back. I made the mistake of reading the first two and then tried to take a mental break by inserting another short book. . . but that was kind of like a rebound date. It was irritating and I probably unduly harshly judged that book because it was just distracting me from the characters I wanted to spend more time with.

Congratulations to the author for putting together a sweeping saga that wraps us in a journey of real and meaningful moments that encapsulate the best and worst of life.

I'm really looking forward to whatever this author's next project is.

I strongly recommend the entire series.

Being an only child like Chloe and Natalie, I've always wished that I had a cousin or a twin with whom I can do silly girly stuff. And, this book unfortunately, not only made me envy Chloe and Natalie's relationship, it bought me to a borderline jealousy over two fictional characters. Cause what's not to be jealous about, when you fight over who gets the freebie donut at Timmy HoHo's. Or the encouragement to follow your heart's desires, and have someone there to comfort you when what your heart desires may not be the right thing to do. Admittedly, I didn't enjoy this book as much over Natalie's story from "The Interlude", this book taught me to live large and seize the day. So Carpe Diem!!

P.S.: Looking forward to "The Refrain" and fingers crossed that there will be more mention of Zach... Please Ashley, pretty please... *puppy eyes*

As if I couldn't love Zach more...The Intermezzo is told from Zach's POV (Ashley Pullo does a kick ass job of a male marine POV) and takes us through his visit home before Christmas how he copes with missing her while he's away.

Zach sees more of the wonderful person behind Natalie's smart remarks, Natalie finds it harder and harder to be away from Zach. Time and distance don't change the adorable exchanges that make us love this couple so much, you feel the yearning they have for each other through every email and letter.

You need to read The Interlude to have context for The Intermezzo. I read both last night in about 2 hours and am still thinking about Zach and his Natalie. They have a love story that is so real it hits you right in the gut, and now you can't imagine one without the other.

Intermission is made up of three short novellas and a short story told from 4 different POVs.

In this book, we hear from Chloe, Natalie ( Chloe's cousin ) , Zach and Adam. These are mostly told through their teenage years , except for Zach. Each story is super concentrated, full of wit, sarcasm, snarkiness, and a LOT of sexy. Even if they are short stories, the author did a phenomenal job of getting the reader through a vast range of emotions. I laughed so hard, I may or may not have shed a tear or two , I gasped and my heart clenched. As always, the writing is impeccable and prose-like, giving each story and book fluidity and top read of the year power.

Definitely a series worth reading.

Intermission is a follow up to The Ballad. It is four short stories in which we get to know younger versions of Natalie, Chloe and Adam, and we are introduced to Zach Parker. I loved these stories! And I absolutely adore Zach!
I finished The Ballad earlier today, and I immediately started reading Intermission, finishing within a few hours. Each story is a quick read and made me love these characters even more.

I gave this 5 Stars ~ I absolutely loved Natalie & Zach's story, actually more than I enjoyed the Ballad. It was fun, witty but there was still that underlying sadness to the story. The combustible chemistry they shared was truly unique as well as their sense of humor. Kudos to Ashley on this one!

The final book (sad, but true) of the foursome, Chloe, Nat, Chris and Adam! A quick trip to Vegas, which has a lot of slots, and a new beginning in a new city. Witty, clever and fun story line of 4 best friends who can overcome anything. A quick awesome read to finish up their journey!

What a perfect little addition to the Bridge series. This book is from the POV of my favorite character Natalie. This book had me laughing and even tearing up. It takes you along for the ride to Vegas and other life changing events the characters go through. Can't wait for more.

I was provided a copy of the series by the Author for an honest review.

I am gone do this different since I read all three book, one right after the other, I am gone write the review for all three book in the series. I have to start by saying that I love the series, I love how they turned out to be, and love the characters, this series is really different from what I am used to reading, and its ok with me cause I love it, I felt in love with each book from the first page to the last.

BOOK 1 The Ballad

The story begging with Chloe and Adam, they are married they being married for a long time now, they have kids and they are a happy family, it is Chloe birthday and she just keep thinking wow she just turn thirty five, she spend the day with her family, the next day they land it in Paris, it was their first time leaving the kids alone with her parents, they had a great time in Paris, now that they are home Adam is gone be gone for a weeks cause of work, Adam is a lawyer.

What can I say this is a great story, about how two people felt in love, and started a family, while reading it I kept thinking ok this is too good to be true, I was waiting for some kind of tragic to happen, but guess what it never came I just love the book.
