These quirky little comics seem to keep getting better with every issue, and the fourth installment is no different. Though Steve has escaped the vast dungeon complex of the skeletons, he's not out of harm's way just yet. Here, the story takes the strong lead while humor, visuals and self-awareness were the major draws of the previous entries. These portions of the comic are still as wonderful as ever - there are meta moments like the witch blocking the door, unbeknownst that Steve is a very decent impromptu architect - it's just that you can truly feel the plot coming together in this release. Darker and drearier than the past episodes, this one ends with poor Steve alone once again. But for how long?

The more I read these, the more I love them! I just realized I'm already halfway through the series and have my fingers crossed the author will be putting more out ASAP. My nephews and I are completely in love with the character, Steve.
