"As we draw closer to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, one thing is for certain-fear is at an all-time high and will continue to rise among those in the world who do not know Him. In fact, the Bible says that in the last days men's hearts would fail them because of fear. For those who do not know Jesus Christ, the future is uncertain. There are those who sense bad things on the horizon and others who think all is well.
Thankfully, Believers have the Word of God to rely on as their guide during these turbulent times in which we live. Jesus has already forewarned us of what is to come, and God's Word gives us the security we need for the days ahead. When we put our faith in the Scriptures, we will not fear the future." I think the number one thing you will learn in this book is that the Word of God is your armour you need to put on to defeat fear: It acts as a defensive and offensive weapon (Ephesians 6:10-18). You not only need to put it on, but you have to speak it out of your mouth like a sword and cut off the head of the devil and fear. He says the way you do this is by finding and memorizing Scriptures that speak to the fear you are endeavoring to overcome. For example, if you are having fear of lack, you can say, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I SHALL NOT LACK!" (Psalm 23:1). Another example is if you are dealing with a sickness, pain or disease in your body. You can confess, "by His scourging I am healed!" (Isaiah 53:5). If you are worried about you and your family getting a virus, you can say, "nothing shall any means hurt me or my family" (Luke 10:19) When you make these declarations, the angels of God go to work to bring them to pass. Your declarations release the angels of God!
The author teaches we require to pay more attention to what the Word of God says than what the fear-filled world says. He says, "There is no denying that we live in a fear-filled world, where being afraid is the norm. Most people have one or more nagging fears that affect their thinking on a daily basis and impact them in ways they do not even realize. In addition, the media seems to be committed to pumping fear into the minds of the general public through their negative reports. If we give attention to what is going on in the world more than we do the Word of God, we can easily become victims of fear and its negative consequences." In my words, "TURN THE NEWS OFF, AND TUNE INTO THE WORD OF GOD!"
The author talks about how fear is a spirit. However, in God's love, fear is driven out. He encourages his reader to know what the Bible says about the grace and love of God, and mediate and declare what we know about God's love when we are feeling afraid. God will never leave us or forsake us. As far is the east is from the west, God has forgiven you your sins. For God so loved you that He gave his only Son for you that you should not perish, but have everlasting life. He will never leave you or forsake you. The good work He has begun in you, He will complete. Fear not.
My favourite chapter in this book is chapter 11 entitled Combating Fear of the End Times. I think this chapter is apt for the world we are living in at this time in history. He says, "Satan has launched an all-out attack on everything pertaining to God, and is unleashing demonic activity in the earth like never before. It is his last-ditch effort to deceive as many people as possible before Jesus returns." God's Word tells us in advance what will happen so that after it's come to pass, we will know He is truly God.
This book will suit you up to overcome fear in all its forms: anger, lust, lack...fear be gone in your life in Jesus' Name. The blood of Jesus be against fear in Jesus' Name.

This is the first book by creflo dollar that i read. It gives a fresh perspective on a topic seldom touched. Gives very new insights. Sometimes the book may seem to be repetitive but anyways an excellent piece.

Wow! The book is simple in its narration and relates to our life so well, not being lesser than any self-help book. Often times we miss recognizing that most of the works and outcomes are out of fear. And Creflo Dollar puts them in an exquisite way that helps us stop and look back to our life and rectify them. This book helps us better our core-self and lead a confident lifestyle.
