"Choose Your Own Adventure' Erotica? Yes please!
The novelty makes this so appealing. One does not read this cover to cover, every few pages the reader is given a choice - just like the 'choose your own adventure' books of our youth.

And there's a handy little guide at the beginning if you want to navigate back to your previous choices.
There were some issues with overall writing quality. I'm not sure this story would have received such a high rating if it weren't for the novelty of the situation.
Some of the sexual descriptors were a little over-exuberant... But I'll give it a pass because I appreciate the excitement... Continuity issues: There was a 'cousin' who suddenly became a 'sister' in the course of a few sentences...
Overall, this was a ton of silly sexy fun, and I think you should give it a try!

Holy wow. This was like waking up in fetish land. Paddles in stall fourteen. Whips and floggers in five booths, each one specializing in something different.So... Kari is an aspiring author of erotica - my favorite kind - and she gets tricked by her best friend into attending a BDSM Convention. Turns out little Kari is writing about all sorts of naughty scenes without having any first-hand experience... That's all about to change, but the HOW is completely up to the reader!

unfortunately, I'm not a fan. this was either hot or cold, there was no middle ground at all.
I read 3 different scenarios from this choose your own adventure story, and only one I was somewhat happy with, & that's when I decided to not continue with the myriad possibilities still available for my consumption.
the main character goes from being extremely uncomfortable being at a BDSM writing convention & seriously contemplating leaving, to minutes later, stripping down completely naked for a man she's just met.
I know short stories don't have the time & space for everything to fit in, but a little more warmth & connection would have gone a long way between the hot & cold extremes. the writing itself is not terrible by any means, so this book has/had the real potential to be great.

Did you ever read those Choose Your Own Adventure books growing up? I did, I loved them. I liked being able to make a choice and have the actions of that choice reflected in the story. I also enjoyed that I could read through a few more times to get a different experience. Seeing an erotica version of this...well, I was excited.
A couple of years ago I read an adult chose your own adventure book. It was with zombies. It was called Infected by James Schannep. It was great, we read it as a family - debating the different options. It had some world build and some character development and was a real story, where your choices matter and you learn the best way to survive.
Unfortunately, Fetish Fair lacked those key items.
I read through a handful of different story variations in all of about an hour. It's an extremely simply told lack-luster adventure. I didn't feel any connection or excitement from this book. At all. It should have been fun, it's a BDSM convention, after all. But it wasn't... It was entirely to basic. I went here, he spanked me, he stuck his cock in, I came, the end.

An original idea that will overload your senses. You can choose your own scenarios as you see fit in this unique book by the amazing author Erzabet Bishop.
Each scenario is filled with passion, lust, energy and characters that grab your mind and gets your heart pounding.
The dialog and erotic scenes are incredibly authentic, very seductive and steaming hot.
This is a fun erotic read concerning a number of different fantasies in a predominantly BDSM environment.
There is so much going on in this book that at times it's hard to keep up.
An eye opening look into a sexy world that many don't understand yet widely fantasize about.
A little bit of different action for everyone with an open imagination.
The dialog and the many erotic scenes that follow are incredibly authentic and steaming hot.

Do you remember those wonderful "choose your own story" books from your childhood? Well now is your chance to create your own smutty story. Whoever thought of this was a genius!
Fetish Fair will take you on an adventure through a BDSM conversion where you will create your own smutty story with erotic author Kari as the main character. Each story that you choose is pretty short (maybe 20-30pages from beginning to end) and all of them will end with an erotic happy ending. In this interactive book, you get the options to make decisions for Kari that will ultimately end in a M/F, F/F, or F/F/M ending.
The only complaint about this book for me was that the stories are a bit too short for me. I was able to read through all of the options in just a couple if hours, and I wish that there were more options available to choose from as the story progress. However, this book made for a great collection on mini-novellas.

Choose your own adventure is an incredibly fun type of book. A naughty choose your own adventure? Even better. But the stories were too short. This author had a great flow and interesting events, but then after two or so choices, that story thread would end. Perhaps I am a little biased as I had just read A Million Little Mistakes by Heather McElhatton, which is a do-over novel and had longer sections of story and more opportunities to make choices.
I am disappointed that it wasn't longer, but what was there is a lot of fun and I laughed out loud a few times. The author had an interesting take on her topic and it is worth the read.

This is so much fun! I have not read a chose your own adventure since I was a kid. And they were NEVER like this! WOW!
I loved how the stories could go wither m/f , f/f or a combination of the two. How much fun it was to mix and match, making several stories instead of just one.
This was deliciously naughty and more than steamy. I would SO like to find a convention like this! A great read while sitting on the beach or out hanging out on the patio. I really, really liked it and am waiting for another!

This story took me back to my teenagers years - finding your own way to the story by choosing which way door you pick...
I liked that and did enjoy but its was really short over in few minutes and you get to re-read it in so many different ways. Would have loved if it was much longer and few for twists to the storylines. I felt it was Bam wham its done, as I didn't really connect to the characters as it wasn't much to read about them apart from the main character Kari.

This was the neatest story ever! Not only was it pretty darn sexy, I got to pick what I wanted the character to do next. Then I could start over and have her choose the other option- all sexy, all steamy and all fun. Loved it!

I liked FETISH FAIR more than I did STORM AT SEA because I felt the story was more consistent, didn’t try to get all weighty with words, and didn’t fail to follow through on the level of sexiness between each partner.
I went twice through this book, first going the f/f route and then the f/m. All the bondage stuff was super sexy. Even in the demonstrative way it was portrayed the secret arousal that the protagonist desperately tried to hide but largely failed was a huge turn-on. It stayed in the more publicly known realm of BDSM with bondage and spanking but it did mention couple of other, lesser known, BDSM aspects in passing.
The f/f storyline I found the lesser hot of the two routes, mainly because it was over so quickly. It had a good lead-in but the sex was quick, rather vanilla considering the surroundings and then the story was done. It left me wanting.
The f/m storyline was far more fulfilling. Same excellent lead-in to the actual sex and even though that storyline ended while it was still going on I felt it was more . . . robust than the f/f sex. A bit more erotic, a bit more experimental, and fit the overall story better. The f/m was still rather standard sex but it played better into the whole BDSM scene than the f/f stuff, playing more into the master/submissive that you might expect out of something like this. The f/f was giving in to the unknown desire but it was just straight sex without flair. I like flair, and not just leading up to it.
Overall I’d recommend FETISH FAIR. In terms of explicit sex it’s not as raucous as STORM AT SEA and the real sexiness is all in the demonstrations, getting dressed, overcoming fear, submitting. It’s a different kind of hot but still hot all the same.

The whole idea of an erotic Choose Your Own Adventure story catered to women still intrigued me. So I decided to give this one a shot also.
For being a photo cover, I thought it was done rather well. It's simple and to the point, and not over the top sexy. It's pretty basic, and works for the story.
The story being, an aspiring bdsm writer gets tricked by her best friend to go to a fetish fair, where the creator of one of her favorite works of erotica would happen to be there giving a panel and signing. There's certainly more plot to this CYOA erotica, and I certainly enjoyed that. And with more plot, there were more scenes!
The story and characters are relatable, and you get to learn a bit about the world of fetish and bdsm, especially if you're new to it, but for anyone that this is old hat, it's at least nice seeing it done right in explaining, unlike that 'shades' book. There's actually a few branches for this one, so it was nice to see which way to go each time, and like the other one I reviewed, we got the option of the main character experiencing scenes with both men and women. And even got to try a bit of both sides of submission and domination. There is certainly something for everyone, and I had a favorite ending in this one, that had more to do with story than the smut.

This was a really interesting way to read a book. After each chapter you get to choose what happens next. There are many combinations to this story so the one I read probably wont be the same that you read which make it more unique to review. I chose the M/F option but there is also a F/F option that I will go back and read at another time. This is the perfect book to have on hand you can spend the entire week reading it with the different combinations and it will be like you are reading an entirely different book.

Fetish Fair - Erzabet Bishop - 4.5 stars
Kari is a BDSM author, but has never experienced BDSM first hand, so her BFF tricks her into going to a 'Fetish Fair' and as soon as they get there, they get separated. Where will Kari go and what will she decide to do ?
I wasn't expecting this type of story and I found it refreshingly different, I really enjoyed this fun book and the unusual concept of choosing which route Kari decides to take, you get to choose which options too (m/f or f/f). I tried several different options and enjoyed them all, my only criticism is that the book finished way way too early, I found myself so disappointed each time the story was over.

I was sent a copy of the book for review through Net Galley, as always, all opinions are my own.
This was the second Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) style erotica I requested. It was twice as long as The Harem Club, which I just finished reviewing, but it felt much shorter. I wish the story arcs were a little longer, or a provided a little more detail because they were somewhat hard to get interested in. Then again the shorter arcs allowed for F/F or M/F choices and I liked that I had that option. Overall, I loved the format and can’t wait to read another.

March 3, 2015This was a fun, quick erotic read and I really loved the "choose your own adventure" element. I would have dreamed of enjoying a choose your own adventure erotica book. but this was intriguing to say the least. I think the BDSM scenes could have been a little more rough but I also understand why they weren't considering Kari's level of expertise in that area. All in all, it was lots of dirty fun!

What a great idea - an interactive book where you choose the next scenario for the character! I don't know how long it took me but I went though every possible outcome and no matter what I chose the story was hot, exciting and kept me wanting more. I love Bishop's writing style, full of heat with a little humor thrown in. And what a great story line, a BDSM writers first trip to a fetish convention. There's hot one-on-one action, some Femdom, FF, something for everyone. Great read and highly recommended!

This is so much fun! I have not read a chose your own adventure since I was a kid. And they were NEVER like this! WOW
I loved how the stories could be either m/f, f/f or a combination of the two. How much fun it was to mix and match, making several stories instead of just one.
This was deliciously naughty and more than steamy. I really, really liked it and am waiting for another!
