The Infected #8

Impulse: A Whole New Day

Rate this book
The button will be pushed, because life itself hangs in the balance!

It's a whole new day for Bridget Chambers, along with the rest of her friends, as the Infected Protection Bureau's headquarters is totally destroyed, and their best operatives scattered into hiding. It's all part of the plan, but everyone forgot that Impulse isn't just a name.
It's a state of mind.
Now Bridget must work to protect her loved ones, and a world that hates her, against a threat so great that if she fails, humanity itself might just stop existing.
Can she do it? More to the point, can anyone?
It doesn't look likely, not even for the strongest girl in the world. She has to try though, because no matter how bad things get for everyone else, in the end it will be her that pays for it.
Forever.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

Yet another great book in the series

The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 for this installment is because it felt a bit rushed. Not that it detracted from the story all that much, I wold have liked to see a bit more in the way of story and character development. Don't let that put a cloud over the book at all. It was well written and flowed .

Impulse grows up and such

The story is getting towards the end and book is so good I hated to see if end. Impulse is becoming a major player and learning to control herself (sometimes).

I really liked this one! It was well-paced with a lot of plot progression. Bridget was an awesome character and I adored her book and POV. Nothing random or odd this time either.

So yes, recommended. Onwards to book 9, to the end of the series!

Sincerely it ended in such a sad note that its just depressing. Even though the ending is not unusual, it does leave one in a poor mood.
