Librarian's Note: This is an alternate cover for ASIN B00A10IVQY

THIS IS A COLLECTION OF THE FIRST 3 BOOKS. INCLUDED BONUS DELETED SCENES IN BOTH HATTER AND WOLF.

Her Mad Hatter:

Alice is all grown up. Running the Mad Hatter's Cupcakery and Tea Shoppe is a delicious job, until fate--and a fairy godmother with a weakness for bad boys--throws her a curveball. Now, Alice is the newest resident of Wonderland, where the Mad Hatter fuels her fantasies and thrills her body with his dark touch.

The Mad Hatter may have a voice and a body made for sex, but he takes no lovers. Ever. But a determined fairy godmother has forced Alice into Wonderland--and his arms. Now, as desire and madness converge, the Hatter must decide if he will fight the fairy godmother's mating--or fight for Alice.

Long length Novella ~ Approx. 40k words. Additional pages are sneak peeks to future books!

This is not erotica, just a good old fashioned romance.

Gerard's Beauty:

A not so classic retelling of Beauty and the Beast, as seen through the eyes of the villain...

Betty Hart has had it with men. Jilted in love, her life now consists of shelving books by day, watching too much Anime by night, and occasionally dressing up like a superhero on the weekends with her fellow ‘Bleeding Heart’ nerds. Men are not welcome and very much unwanted. Especially the sexy Frenchman who saunters into her library reeking of alcohol and looking like he went one too many rounds in the ring.

Gerard Caron is in trouble. Again. Caught with his pants down (literally) he’s forced to seek asylum on Earth while his fairy godmother tries to keep Prince Charming from going all ‘Off with his head’. Maybe, messing around with the King’s daughter hadn’t been such a great idea after all, not that Gerard knew the silly redhead was a princess. But his fairy godmother knows the only way to save his life is to finally pair Gerard with his perfect mate, whether he’s willing or not.

From the moment Gerard lays eyes on the nerdy librarian he knows he must have her, but Betty is unlike any woman he’s ever known. He thought Betty would come as willingly to his bed as every other woman before her, but she is a woman who demands respect and even… horror of all horrors… love. Is it possible for a self-proclaimed Casanova to change his ways?

Long length Novella ~ Approx. 41k words of the actual story. Included in the Amazon page count are teasers from future books, thank you!

This is not an erotica, but it is a good old fashioned romance.

Red and Her Wolf:

Long ago there lived a beautiful child. Her name was Violet. Fair of skin, with blonde hair and large blue eyes. Born of wild magic, she was a woman with a child’s heart. Innocent and lovely, but not at all what she seemed--you see Violet went by another name: The Heartsong.

She was the child of fairy magic, the physical manifestation of all fae kinds unbridled power. Cosseted and pampered, she grew up in isolation, never knowing who she really was, or why there were those who’d seek to harm her.

Ewan of the Blackfoot Clan is a wolf with a problem. He’s been sent to kill the Heartsong, but the moment he lays eyes on the blonde beauty he knows he’ll defy the evil fae he works for to claim Violet as his own.

This is the tale of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, as it really happened...

This is not an erotica, just a good old fashioned romance.

Marie Hall is a USA Today Bestselling author and has always held a dangerous fascination for creatures that go bump in the night. And mermaids. And of course fairies. Trolls. Unicorns. Shapeshifters. Vampires. Scottish brogues. Kilts. Beefy arms. Ummm... Bad boys! Especially the sexy ones.

Then the day came she realized apart from the sexy bad boy she married, there'd be no vampires/shapeshifters/mermaids/fairies/or even stinky trolls in her future unless she wrote about them. More often than not she can be found roaming the wild, lush tropical forest she calls her backyard (a.k.a. Hawaii) and day dreaming constantly about her latest project.

Her Mad Hatter is the first book of her Kingdom Series.

Her Mad Hatter is an adult, entertaining and very descriptive version of the childhood tale of Alice in Wonderland. It’s just as twisted and fun as the original story only with more twists, surprises and additions us adults can enjoy. I had a lot of fun reading this one. It was emotional, exciting, fun, funny, sensual and memorable. It’s definitely my favorite of the three stories.

With Gerard’s Beauty I was unsure which tale it belong with for a brief time (I guess I’m losing my touch). This story is very different from the Beauty and the Beast tale and not just the adult aspects alone. It held many magical elements but no talking candle sticks (bummer!) It’s another story that I got lost in with its mystery, humor and emotion.

Red and her Wolf is another spun twisted tale by Marie Hall. This one has way more emotion, details and addictive qualities than the original tale and (once again) it’s not just because it’s an adult version. No, it’s because it’s so wonderfully written you get caught up and trapped not wanting the story to end.

I cannot wait to read the rest of the collections!

I have read each of the books in this series as individual releases - each has a unique twist to a faerie tale, with a dash of pop culture, a smidgen of danger and a pinch of humor, all sealed with a steamy connection between hero and heroine that makes these stories perfect for the adult faerie tale lover that is tired of the sanitized family versions.

Danika, the faerie godmother to the bad boys of the tales (The Beast from Beauty and the Beast, the Mad Hatter, the Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood and a Genie from Aladdin's days) is convinced that her "boys" need love, and seeks to push, wheedle, spell, cajole and even place them in places to meet their intended.

Each of the characters is flawed with real issues that many will relate to. Their paths are never simple or straight forward, but there is someone for everyone, at least if Danika has her say.

Three fairly quick-reading novellas are in this collection - one that you will whip through and look for more, but will leave you smiling at the end.

I received eBook copies of the 3 volumes that comprise this edition from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

I really enjoyed this box set and I felt like it broke the stories up in a way that didn't feel too long. Although the last book contained in this box set, dragged on, I felt like this is a quick series read that I highly recommend.

Books Contained (links to my reviews):
Her Mad Hatter-3.5 stars!
Gerard's Beauty- 3.5 stars (maybe higher; I'm still very conflicted on my exact rating)
Red and Her Wolf- 2.75 stars

Overall Rating:
3.25 stars

Good books, I would swear they were longer than 300 pages, but I did enjoy the read. This is not a set of books I would have picked for myself. I liked the Hatter and Wolf stories the best, Hatter being my favorite. If your into the fairytale type stories, this series is for you!

The Mad Hatter
Danika was not your usual fairy godmother. She didn’t want the prissy princes and princesses. She liked having her bad boys. And especially the worst of them in the Kingdom. The Bad Five. This included Mad Hatter, Gerard, Wolf, Jinni and Hook. She had been warned to connect them with their mates before it was too late. Especially Hatter’s. So off she went to find yet another Alice.

Alice Hu loved her Wonderland book. She believed at one time when she was in dire straights, Mad Hatter had come to rescue her. Her Hatter, she loved him. No one believed her of course. So on she went in life, no man ever comparing to the one in her dreams. And one day she finds herself being pulled into a tunnel by a white rabbit.

This was an extraordinary story. The author takes the tale of Alice in Wonderland and adds a complete back story to it. Taking the reader from our world into a magical crazy place called, Wonderland. She has you falling in love with the disheveled sullen Hatter and at one point it had me going through quite a few tissues. It looks like there will be five books in this series, one for each of the Bad Five.

Gerard's Beauty
Danika is the fairy godmother extraordinaire. Just ask her and she’ll tell you exactly that. She has four of her Bad Five boys to help find their mates and keep them out of trouble. Only she is a bit late with Gerard. Only one thing left to do if she is going to keep Gerard’s head connected to his body….send him to Earth.

Gerard Caron is in trouble once again. True he had trouble keeping away from the pretty ladies but this time it was not his fault. Unfortunately when it’s the king’s daughter you have been caught with, and your pants aren’t quite where they should be, you are in big trouble. He made an enemy long ago with the head mistress of Fairy Inc. and she is in charge of his verdict.

Betty Hart is living in a small Missouri town, playing librarian and helping take care of her special nephew. After good looking James broke her heart, the last thing she needs is to fall for this seductive Frenchman that’s hanging around the library.

Never heard of Gerard in the fairy tales? That’s because that fairy mistress rewrote his story and removed him from it. This second Kingdom story is as enjoyable as Her Mad Hatter. When two people from different worlds collide, you never know what magic will abound.

Red and Her Wolf by Marie Hunt
Ewan of the Blackfoot Clan was working for a nasty fairy to help provide for his clan. So off to grandma’s house he went for his mission. He didn’t expect to find his mate that night. Nor to have her torn from his clutches just as quickly. For five hundred years Ewan has continued to search in Kingdom to find her, often almost slipping off the edge of sanity. He must find his Red.

Violet, also known as The Heartsong and Red, has been living in Alaska with her Aunt Mir. She is slowly remembering her past. Wolves and death. Her hatred for the big bad black wolf has grown over all these years. She dreams about returning to Kingdom to kill that wolf.

The third book in this series continues as the first two, a well spun story from an old fairy tale. The author did a great job of grabbing this readers emotions to sympathize with the Wolf, so many years of pain and sorrow as he searched for his Red. She also lets the reader drop in and see how the Hatter and Alice are doing. Enjoyable stories.

I've always rooted for the underdogs and the misunderstood "Bad Guys" so the Kingdom Series is right up my alley. Also, retelling of classic stories from a different POV are a personal vice of mine (you should try Cinderella is Evil if you agree ~ http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17... ) Even though each of these stories are short (under 120 pages) they are not rushed and suck-you-in complete.

Like I do with most box-sets, I'm going to Review and Rate each story individually...

Her Mad Hatter
*****

I originally downloaded this book as the Free Kindle Addition and because it was so good I naturally HAD to get the rest of them.

Alice in wonderland has always been one of my favorite "fairy-tales" because it's so dark and "not normal." And, of course, The Mad Hatter's tea party is my favorite part of the story. So naturally out of the 3 books in this set, Her Mad Hatter is my favorite. It's wickedly delicious and crazy just like real love should be. This is defiantly one of those stories I read over and over again.

Gerard's Beauty
**** 1/2

Only reason this got 4 1/2 instead of 5 is because they portrayed Belle as the ultimate gold digging Bitch and lets face it, she was my FAVORITE Disney Princess (what book junkie wouldn't be envious of that library!) This story, like the "hero" in it, was 3rd-degree-burn HOT so I got over the Bitch thing and fell in love with Gerard just as much as his Beauty did. Gerard is your typical Casanova ASS with a sweet heart of gold buried deep down inside. Bonus, Betty is a total Geek/Nerd/Dork just like me and she totally convinced her very macho man to go to Comi-Con with her!

Red and Her Wolf
*****

This was a really hard one to rate. It starts off good, get predictable and then good again. The main reason why it got the full 5 stars is because the plot twists of the book actually took me by surprise, TWICE! and trust me, that's not easy to do. I'm one of those annoying people who halfway through a book/movie/TV show announces "I know who did it." My Dad and I drive people nuts doing that. The other reason why I like this one is because it's a perfect case for why the "truth" of how you see something is not always the WHOLE TRUTH.

I was not entirely sure what to expect when starting this series. I had accidentally bought a book later in the series, thinking it was a book one and then discovering that it was a book one of a spin off of a spin off. I was at least very surprised by the size of the paperback edition. It wasn't easiest book to hold and I couldn't take it with me while traveling, so I read one story at a time.

And I have to admit that I'm quite impressed! The writing style of the stories is beautiful. It's flowery and very descriptive, but I happen to like that. And despite it being flowery it still reads easily and nicely. It almost felt as if the writing was part of the world building, crafting a certain atmosphere that enhanced the atmosphere of the Kingdom.

I also really loved how those stories were all soulmate centred and yet acknowledged that there is a difference between physically being attracted to each other and actually being in love. Every single story took the time to develop an emotional bond between the characters and therefore also an emotional bond between me and the characters.

The story of Alice and her Hatter made me cry a little, especially at the end. The story of Gerard and his Betty warmed my heart and made me believe in second chances. And the story of Ewan and Violet was so powerful and strong, that it made me believe in true love again.

I'm really excited to read the rest of this series and the spin off and the spin off of the spin off until I've reached the book I bought initially.

What a wonderful idea, the bad boys of fairy tails get their own romances, Danika, fairy godmother has the task for finding mates for her five charges, this series focuses on the mad hatter, (sweet and sad), Gerard and the wolf, (more mythical), my favourite was Gerard (the French horndog) based on beauty and the beast, sweet and funny, I did like the references to other fairy tales, Gerard calling Belle a money grabbing Ho, did make me chuckle, and Cinderellas daughter being a bit of a dirt!. worth a read if you want to read something different, will definitely be looking out for Hooks story.

The thre stories in this set were just barely okay. I expected so much more.
First story was weirdly interesting, second I did not like at all, and the last one I found lacking.
Kudos for interesting characters but the way the story played out could have been much better.

I downloaded the first three books of the Kingdom Series ages ago, for free. I, of course, was interested because it started off with Alice in Wonderland and I'm obsessed with Alice. I have never read anything written by Marie Hall before and I've never read erotica in the form of fairy tales. Actually my only experience with erotica is Fifty Shades of Grey and ummmm that is crap. So I was hoping for some action and a great re-telling.

The first book is called "Her Mad Hatter", in this story we are introduced to Danika, the fairy godmother to the "bad boys" of Kingdom. There are many fairies in this land and many godmothers. She is entrusted with finding love or being a matchmaker to the most baddest of boys. In the first three books we have the Mad Hatter, Gerard and The Wolf of Red Riding Hood, but their is also Jinni, Hook and a few more.

In Her Mad Hatter, Danika has been trying to find Hatter's match for years and years. Hatter is becoming insane with falling in love and having the girl reject him for the human world. They never stay Hatter says in anguish. This is the last time Danika has to right the wrongs and find Hatter's true love. She must find the right Alice. The one that will set Hatter free from his captivity with time. Danika finds her in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. She is a baker and she is Asian. (I like that bit of a twist). Even Alice is unconvinced. Isn't Alice supposed to be white with blonde hair? But before Alice can really go against the thought she is falling for the Hatter and is mad ways. I am giving this story by itself a 3 star. It was okay, but not great. It was a nice introduction to Marie Hall's world, but I wished it had more character development. The "sex" part was super lame. I guess I'm not the right reader for erotica. All the hot and heavy scenes were just meh and I had when writers/authors say "my sex was throbbing" god.... doesn't that sound stupid? There are better words I'm sure. So I wasn't invested in the story because ewww.

The next story "Gerard's Beauty", gave us more details about Kingdom and the inhabitants that live there. And truthfully I quite enjoy Marie Hall's writing and her story building. I really liked reading about all the characters and how Danika gets the two to fall in love with each other. In the second story we learn of Gerard. Now you might be asking yourself "who is Gerard?" and Gerard would hang his head in misery because it's all Belle's fault for that. You see, Belle and Gerard were meant to be. They were in love or at least Gerard was in love with Belle. Until of course Belle fell for the ever impressive and RICH Beast living in his castle. Belle is such a slut and a bitch! That is what Gerard thinks anyway. Not only that but Galeta (one of the 10 most powerful fairies in Kingdom) hates Gerard and made sure no one knew of his part in, Beauty and the Beast, and made sure he was erased from history. So...with that being said Gerard is partnerless and one of the baddies. Danika decides to put Gerard in the the human world and leave him there until he finds his true love. She also has to put him there because well....Prince Charming is kind of pissed that Gerard was caught with his pants down with Cinderella. Or was it their daughter? Doesn't matter. Betty Hart is destined to be Gerard's better half and in book 2 we get to watch their love blossom over a month. Gerard is well magically castrated for a month and the ultimatum is this....if Betty falls for him before the 30 days he gets his...ahem....libido back. I was happy to read about this story because there was barely any sex. I didn't have to read he put his thing in her hole. Because ew that isn't sexy at ALL! I gave this story 4 stars.

Book 3 is all about Red and The Wolf. We all know the story of Little Red Riding Hood? However in this story Red or Violet is a reincarnation of all the evil thoughts of the most powerful fairies. She is part of a prophecy. She has been hidden away in the woods by her "grandmother" or really another powerful fairy. She was made to think she had no powers and that she was a normal girl. But then one day the Evil fairy Minerva and her evil minions finds Red and the grandmother and are instructed to kill both of them. When Wolf sees Violet or Red for the first time, he basically imprints and can't kill her. She is his love and he knows it. However a battle between fairies happens and Wolf or Ewan is "banished" to the corner of Kingdom and Red/Violet is sent in hiding to Alaska with her "Aunt" (this is Danika's best friend in all the world). They live here for hundreds of years never aging and always on the run. Ewan is always getting in trouble and is always searching for Red his love. I think this was the best of the three because there was a lot in this story. We have backstories to the fairies, love blossoming like in the second book and there are fight scenes and tricksters and betrayal and revenge. It was all very well done. Another 4 stars.

After reading these three novellas, I've decided why not. I'll continue on with the series. Next up Jinni's Wish.

There was once a fairy godmother who was assigned to finding true love matches for her charges. The fairy rulers told her that she had only one year left to find matches for her remaining five or each would die. Sounds like an easy feat, however her charges are all villains or bad boys of legend. In this collection we follow The Mad Hatter (really more of a Johnny Depp Mad Hatter), Gerard (aka Gaston from Beauty & the Beast), and the Big Bad Wolf as they find true love. I reviewed each book separately, giving Her Mad Hatter 5 stars, Gerard’s Beauty 5 stars, and Red and her Wolf 4 stars (though it really should have been more of a 3, but I’m too nice to rank lower). Despite the fairy tale basing, these are really meant for an adult audience with plenty of sexy R-rated scenes.

Her Mad Hatter had all the imaginative touches of Wonderland and Hatter certainly did have all the madness of the original character (I would have called him Bi-polar since his personality swung from warm to cold at the drop of a hat). While he was very much based on Johnny Depp’s Hatter with the darkness surrounding him, the nihilistic vibe, quoting passages, and oozing seductiveness making him an easily desirable romantic dark hero. Even Alice had her own quirks with being a Wonderland fan girl, her Hawaii upbringing (BTW, considering I live in Hawaii, thought it came off rather authentic sounding) complete with the stereotypical Japanese lady neighbor. Admittedly, it took me a little bit to warm to the story since the beginning came off like a contrived set-up, but once Alice appeared in her cake shop, the story took off and sucked me in so much that when I wasn’t reading it, I was itching to get my hands on it and continue reading. The body of the story is really Alice and Hatter’s relationship—trying to overcome Hatter’s seeing her as just another Alice or worse yet, linking her to an Alice who had betrayed him in the past, and her trying to reconcile that he was real and wasn’t the idealistic creation of her memory and could scare her, thrill her, aggravate her, or totally laugh in her face and let her down. This a definite must-read for people looking for romance amid the madness of Wonderland.

In Gerard’s Beauty, Gerard, even with being a giant, ham-fisted, sexist pig, had such charm (and room to grow for improvement, which he definitely did do during this piece, since he couldn’t just seduce the girl this time around. He actually had to get to know her and woo her). Yes, the ending was predictable, but honestly in a romance, I would have been upset of things had turned out differently and I did think there was enough in between the pages that kept things interesting and swiftly paced so I was eager to pick up the book whenever I could. Things could have gone crass and crude so easily in this story, but I’m so happy that it didn’t since that’s a quick turn-off for me. And I loved Betty, too (I’m just as much of a genre geek and yes, I cosplay, too, so the moments at the convention rang true).

And Red and Her Wolf, I felt obligated to finish as a link in the chain so I don’t miss important information, but this one fell short. I can’t stand the alpha type. Ewan, though wildly, darkly sexy, made me hate him early on when he “marked” (bit Violet, making her his) without her consent. He forced loving him on her just because he had to have his mate and wasn’t willing to even chance getting no for an answer. Ugh. Then I noticed the Scottish accent. Eh gads, could we be more stereotypical? I can come up with at least a dozen books I’ve read with Scottish Alpha werewolves (at least his name isn’t Connal). It’s like they’re Scottish more often than not in indie paranormals. Then there’s Violet. Even though she’s drenched in blood, and has been decimating wolves for several years, she’s oddly naïve and acts like a damsel in distress the large majority of the time. And her powers of drinking other people’s souls in are disgusting and nauseating. The storyline really didn’t have much to do with the Red Riding Hood story at all. And I was bored and irritated by all the fairy politics. Even Dannika was rather scary at times. The storyline itself is the typical fantasy journey with the journey feeling overly long, and honestly I’m glad to finally put Ewan and Violet behind me so I can move on to Jinni!

I got linked to this through a giveaway because it was free over the weekend. I thought to myself, "I'm going to regret reading this, probably, but it's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland fanfiction, that's never not entertaining." So I started reading it.

I dropped and returned this (free! free!!) book two pages in.

That, in and of itself, is nothing new for me either, given my tolerance level for misogyny is very low. On top of that, the writing just wasn't doing it for me. I mean, this is the first line, in the opening pages that repeat the summary:

"Bad boys need love too."

I mean, ignoring the missing comma, everything about this sentence just reeks of cliché and my long suffering sigh can be heard from the recesses in the outskirts of our galaxy. I understand there's an appeal for the whole "bad boys" archetype in its varying forms and incarnations. Heck, I enjoy quite a few of them myself! When I read a sentence like this one, though? It generally means I can only expect a bunch of shallow traits and tropes slapped together, not a real character of any real substance. Admittedly, I can't review much more on that given how early I (figuratively) tossed this book away from me.

Moving on from that, the first chapter opens with the fairy godmother describing her wand and how the magic of it feels like. I don't even know how to describe this scene. It read like it was trying too hard, attempting to be poetic in its explanation of how magic feels, and it could have been interesting imagery but I don't feel like it was well expressed at all. And then I got to page two, which opens with this:

"Of course, that stupid fat cow--"

Nope, I'm out, I am not going to tolerate this. I get that this character is supposed to be arrogant, that's established fairly well, I'll give this book that, but I am not interested in what she has to say. It doesn't help that the rest of the page is more of the same misogynistic rhetoric. Describing the Disney version of Cinderella, the narrative goes on to insult both the Fairy Godmother and the movie's titular character in varying ways, the latter in particular. It's unpleasant, it's gross, and it's nauseating.

Finally, there's the completely incomprehensible "a classic Mary Sue if ever there was one" line. No one talks like this about real people. It doesn't matter if Cinderella is fictional to us, in the context of this book, it's established that the events in the movie really happened. Which then means that this character just called An Actual Person a Mary Sue. The mind boggles at the sheer lack of sense in this.

At the bit where Danita, the fairy godmother/third person viewpoint character/misogynist, starts describing how she wants to gouge Cinderella's eyes out with a rusty spoon, I went back to amazon to delete this book from my library. This was an unpleasant interlude, and I can read considerably more entertaining badfics elsewhere.

This book sat on my Kindle for probably around 5 years before I finally decided to read it. It had come highly recommended from a friend, but I just wasn't sure if I would like it. When looking for a new book to read, I figured since it's February--the month of love!--why not give it a go? My first thought after reading the first page: This is pure gold. It's one of those 'it's so bad, it's good' books.

As someone who doesn't read romance, I probably should've read something else after each novella just to give myself a break, but it's probably better that I didn't. I don't know if I would've came back to it right away if I waited. I did enjoy the stories, but my biggest issue was I didn't feel like there was much plot. The first book had no plot at all, and I was bored halfway through. The second book had some plot, so I liked it a little bit better, but I liked the third book the best as it had the closest thing to a full story arc. I found the characters a bit laughable too. The way they viewed relationships and how they treated sex and lust as equal to love. It's a romantic fantasy, but I still think the characters should question why certain things are happening to them and be wary, even if they want to appear that they are "going with the flow".

I'm not saying Marie Hall's writing is terrible--in fact, I did find myself enjoying it despite the lack of plot and overuse of cliches. I just think they would've benefited from having a stronger plot and a full story arc while also including the romance aspect. Again, I don't read romance so I don't know if this is the type of formula they all have. These books showed a lot of promise, I just wish she had taken them a bit further.

Overall this is a fun and quick read. the way the stories are separate but still are intertwined makes this feel less like a collection and more like one big story.

HER MAD HATTER
Her mad hatter was not quite what I had believed it would be. I thought it was going to be a less than plot-driven tale of the Mad Hatter and his Alice. I was so deliciously wrong.
An erotic and oddly deep and heartfelt tale of a person madly in love with a dream and a dream that believes himself trapped in a nightmare.

GERARD'S BEAUTY
A lovely retelling of- not beauty and the beast- but of Gaston' s (Gerard) story. In this iteration, Gerard is our unlikely hero and he must find a new love in order to save his life.
A really unexpected look at a classic villain and a classic love story. Hot and steamy and full of unexpected depths.

RED AND HER WOLF
The longest and most complex of all three stories, red and her wolf is the story of darkness becoming more than that. it is the story of how far one will go for true love's sake.
A surprisingly dark twist on a children's classic, we follow Violet in her quest to learn of her past, her heart, and- if all goes well- her future.

This was 3 books in one; which I loved.

The first book, "Her Mad Hatter." Was amazing, I fell in love with the characters and my heart broke for The Hatter. He was such an amazing well rounded character and that ending, nearly ripped my heart in two. I'd give it, 5/5. I also devoured this book in one night, I couldn't stop reading it and couldn't put it down for more than a minute because I kept wanting to know what was going to happen.

The second book, "Gerard's Beauty." Was a very interesting take on the classic Beauty and The Beast story. I loved Gerard; even if he was an ass most of the time, but once his punishment was upon him, we saw a completely different side of him and it was great to see the character growth of him. I'd give it 4/5.

The third and finale book, "Red and Her Wolf." Had a sexy Scottish packmaster; which who doesn't love a sexy Scottish man? But I found this one a little slower and for me, it didn't grab me like the other 2 stories did. I still loved it, but I didn't want to devour it like I did with Hatter. I would give this one 3/5.

The princesses finally got their ever after, but what happened to the others? What about the bad boys behind the stories?

The five bad boys in Kingdom are left with limited life because their soulmates are no where to be found. Mad hatter, Gerard (beauty and the beast), Ewan (the big bad wolf from little red riding hood), Jinni, Hook (Peter pan). These are the very attractive bad boys of Kingdom just looking for trouble, and their fairy God mother Danika must start finding their soulmates living on earth. These women will give the boys a run for their money, for they aren't going to sit around and be played for a foolish girl. Alice, Betty, and Violet have a fire in them that'll make Hatter, Gerard, and Ewans blood boil with a passion to do anything they ask to please them. Daniela must act quick for the boys fade fast in Kingdom and in some cases it's making them go mad (literally). Each story is a hot romance from the fairy tales we have grown up hearing and its about time the others get a happy ending too. "Bad boys need love too"

DNF
This was a 3 in 1. I read Her Mad Hatter a few years ago and wasn't overly impressed with it but didn't think it was the worst so I thought I would try this collection.

I read through half of the second book before realizing I didn't see a point to finishing it. I only read 2 chapters of the third book because it became clear it would be the exact same thing.

These are very quick reads and very simple, with little to no plot and barely any character creation or development. The blurbs contain all the backstory you need and I didn't see a point in finishing them because I already knew exactly what was going to happen: Boy meets girl. Girl tries to deny attraction to boy and fails. They fall in love. Happily ever after the end.
