About the author

He graduated from Kyoto University with a degree in Economics. After working for a life insurance company for several years, Kishi started his writing career as a freelancer. He has twice won the Japan Horror Novel Award, and boasts bestselling status in Japan with multiple works adapted to the screen. The Crimson Labyrinth marks his American debut.

une oeuvre absolument magistrale, le T2 est encore mieux que le T1 puisqu'on commence à entrer dans le coeur de l'histoire (et encore !!). toute la tragédie commence, et c tellement foreshadowed c incroyable, j'adore tout ce qu'on y apprend et à quel point c'est dystopique, tout est super bien pensé et c'est tellement remarquable. j'aime bcp trop saki, satoru évidemment homme de ma vie, et le triangle saki satoru shun est meilleur dans le livre et leurs relations sont INSANE, si malsaines mais c'est si brillant. mon amour pr shinsekai yori encore + pr le roman qui traite tout mieux que l'anime, C BRILLANT JE VEUX TROP LA SUITEEE

Suite directe du premier volume, qui se concentre cette fois sur l'adolescence des personnages.

Toujours une très bonne lecture. Là où le premier volume nous mettait face à des dangers immédiats, ici Saki doit faire face à une menace plus inattendue pour elle, celle de la société dans laquelle elle évolue, tandis qu'elle voit ses amis disparaître les uns après les autres.

Je suis toujours très fan des passages qui se concentrent sur l'organisation de cette société, en particulier sur les réflexions presque philosophiques entretenues par la cheffe de la commission de la morale.

What just...

I don't think the second volume was as strong as the first, but then the weird thing is that it was over before I knew it. Like what just happened? Like, the story was over without me realizing it? Not as engrossing as the first volume, but not boring at all either. Strange feeling.

Like the previous book, this had parts that are amazing and parts that are kind of boring. I liked the beginning of this book a lot, but it slowed down in the middle a lot.

Le récit s'enchaîne mieux que dans le tome 1 même s'il souffre des mêmes défauts. Plusieurs péripéties résoluesen avec un côté deus ex machina. On en apprend plus sur ce nouveau monde et son fonctionnement.
