Dance With Me

Rate this book
Dear Author,
It all started with a brochure from a local dance studio left in my mailbox… Please give us a happy ending, and you won’t go wrong!

Note: I’d like a story that revolves around Argentine tango. Bonus points for featuring men of short stature.

Photo Description:
Two dark-haired, slimly built men are dancing close to each other in the middle of a black-and-white, checkered dance floor. They are wearing dark dress pants with suspenders, white dress shirts, and both are barefoot.

This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group's "Love’s Landscapes" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.

This story may contain sexually explicit content and is intended for adult readers. It may contain content that is disagreeable or distressing to some readers. The M/M Romance Group strongly recommends that each reader review the General Information section before each story for story tags as well as for content warnings.

3.5 STARS--Cute little fluffster filled with romance and dancing. This is the type of in between read you open when you want to cuddle in a case of the squees. No sex but not necessary to tell this story. Teacher Noah has been secretly wooed by a secret admirer for weeks with dance lessons. And this evening is the one where he finally meets his benefactor. And he's in for a little surprise on who his admirer is. (Well not really but work with the moment)

There are no animals in this story but that gif just makes you wanna squee, right?

Thanks to the author and team behind this story.

Oh look what else I had...another gif from my temporary squeeage:

The story's just like that. (Minus the paws)

A lovely written scene with enough background to create a beautiful picture, complete in itself.

Stretching up to 3.5 stars
Very short contemporary story of Noah, who has come out of a bad relationship but not moved on, being bought dance lessons by a mystery benefactor. The story revolves around the day he and his benefactor are to meet, with Noah wondering if it will be his friend and colleague, Marco, who he has developed romantic feelings for. Very sweet story and well done for such a short piece

Dance With Me was written for the M/M Romance Group’s 2014 Love’s Landscapes event. It’s told in third person from Noah Walker’s pov.

Noah had been given free dance lessons from a mysterious person. He takes the lessons wondering who it’s from. Over time he starts to wish it’s from his best friend, Marco Olivares. The story culminates with Noah dancing with the man who paid for his dance lessons.

This is a very short and simple story. There really isn’t much of a build-up and the passage of time is very quick. If you’re looking for an extremely fast read without any angst, this fits the bill. I give this 3 Stars

This was short and sweet. Basically just one scene, but it had a lot of feeling and left me smiling.
After a though break up Noah has been a bit down, and for the last month he's been taking tango lessons after he received a mystery invitation in the mail. He's received another letter, and is finally about to meet the man who invited him. He's not sure who it is, but is kind of hoping it's his best friend Marco that he's been noticing more and more.

A very short, yet sweet story about a man, Noah, finally meeting his secret admirer and hoping that it is his best friend Marco.

It was well written and complete within its scene. The author did an excellent job of emotions within the short amount of words.

Thanks to the author for their time and participation in this event.

Oh this was nice - one of those 'feel-good' stories that ends happily and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Not too drawn-out either. A perfect bed time read. The only problem I have is trying to work out on which shelves I should put it!

Too short to evoke much emotion, I'm afraid. And for that, this is not going to be memorable at all.

This was just way too short and way too predictable for me to enjoy too much. I really didn't feel too for anyone in the story.

This was a short but very sweet story of finding a new love in the form of an old friend that is going the extra mile to get your attention.

This was a romantic read. If only there was a detailed kiss scene included, I would have rated it higher.
