Eva's books are so thoroughly entertaining. She hinted we, her loyal readers would find this book the most compelling and she was right on target. I loved learning even more back story to these incredible beings not just the powerful angels but their equally intriguing mates. Her stories are always well written, and flow easily from one book to the next. Her writing ability is so great you actually feel like you are there and a part of each and every story. You laugh, cheer, cry and empathize with each character. I wait with baited breath for her next book! If you have never read a paranormal romance I highly suggest you start with the best and this author, EJ Brock is definitely the best!

Awesome Read!
Ms. Eva J. Brock, you did it again! I am so loving this book. I really enjoyed how you explained Michaels and Veranda's relationship. I really enjoyed you bringing out Elizabeth's personality a and showing us some of her powers. Love those twins. Keep up the great work! And yes I have referred this book. Keep 'em coming!

Another one of my favorite books in this series! Heck, I think all of them are one of my favorite books! Hey, I just enjoy this story line that Ms. Eva has created! It keeps me intrigued to whats going on out there in that mansion. LOL! Now we got the Island to keep up with. Man Those Brock kids are something else! This book is definitely worthy of a read! I won't dare spoil any of the story to ya. Time for me to move on to the next one. I know I'm far behind.

Eva J Brock 's archangel is a breathtaking character in body and personality. He and Verenda's connection leapt romantically from the pages from beginning to end. Michael enough said
Michael and Versnda Strong 💪🏼 is a sanction bond that can never be broken... the journey was more then I think any person should bare! But the Master knew differently! What a book 📖 this is! Ms. Eva never leave you disappointed but keeps you wanting more!

*Sighs* This story is definitely added to my books of re-reads. I just Loveeeee Michael and Verenda.
God made a pairing for everything for as He said, "It is not good to be alone". So as we read about humans, spirit mates and everything else the question is asked what about the Archangels, do they not have mates too? And the question is "Yes they most certainly do".
Michael the Archangel, has loved Verenda when she was a spirit in Heaven and Verenda loved him too. So much so that when she learned she would be promised to another, although she loved the other man, she was in love with Michael. So Verenda beseeched the Father on her and Michael's behalf but Verenda had to give something up but she questioned the Father why can't she have both, but the Father calmly told her no and that she must choose. Verenda choose Michael because that is who she belonged to.
Unbeknownst to Verenda, Michael did the same for her, he beseeched the Father for Verenda and the He granted Michael's request. As time and space would have it, when Verenda's time came for her to come to earth, she forgot and because Michael was fighting on the Father's behalf and protecting the other spirit mates for the Watchers, his mate was being used and abused, by the time he got to Verenda the angel of death Sammual came for her which Michael forbade him to do. Michael was torn up. He brought Verenda back but he exacted righteous retribution on those who hurt his sanctioned mate. And that is how their story starts when Verenda wakes up, she is in the arms of her angel but she doesn't remember what she asked for in heaven, well at least not yet.
The Archangel Michael, does not have human emotions or Watcher emotions. His love is unconditional not conditional, he has loved Verenda forever and waited patiently for her to come to him and when she does, when she realizes that it has always been Michael and no one else the floodgates that have alluded Michael for so long while he waited for Verenda burst wide open. He and his love were able to finally be together in every sense of the word.
Their story is so beautiful because it speaks of a true love, a redemptive love, a love everlasting, a unconditional love. A love between the Archangel Michael and His Verenda aka Ruby but don't let the swirling eyes of love fool you LOLL!!! The enemy and his cohorts are learning the absolute hard way that Michael will not tolerate their stupidity against his wife and will make mince meat out of all those foolishness enough to try him.
We get to see Verenda with her earthly daughters and grandchildren and yes every man still goes bananas every time they lay eyes upon her but she only has eyes for her "Michael". Ah yes I couldn't wait to get to their story because I just love them. Next story up is "The Archangel ARACIEL (A Sanctioned Mate Series Book 2)" and he has tortured himself for so long, that it will be wonderful to finally see him at peace and in love again. He has his beautiful granddaughters who he just lovingly dotes upon and he is reunited with his sons and now it is time for him to have a sanctioned mate too.

I do not want to be bias, but since I had the pleasure of meeting the author in person at author event (Urban Reviews) and convinced me to read her first novel of the continuing series: Brock's Redemption; this is still my favorite read until this very day. There was a spin-off character: Ramiel and his spirit mate that I desperately wanted to read after reading "Brock's" story and purchased the eBook copy but was somewhat disappointed since I so loved them in his novel as an introductory character.
Therefore, this is why I was enthused to read about Archangel Michael but was forewarned by author that it is best to keep up with the series before reading this one. However, E.J. Brock wrote this one to whereas I do not believe I need to read the previous series to be able to grasp this one. My only issues was the timelines and events I had a couple discrepancies with while following the storyline. I am unsure if it was rushed, or I missed something in translation, but regardless I was able to complete the novel to its entirety.
Ironically, what I liked about the story was the antagonist and his plotting and scheming. Normally I would go for the protagonist all the way like with Brock in his novel, but in this instance, I am for the cunning Lucifer who keeps trying and pushing regardless of failure. Overall, I will see how this plays out....and who wins in the end.

When you mess with one of Michael's you are truly messing with your life. What a wonderful novel! EJ Brock continues to amaze me with her writing style and I must say this was one of my favorites so far! I will keep reading as long as she keeps writing. The storyline was engaging and I loved how she demonstrated that your latter will be greater than your past and God will make your enemies your footstool! Thanks Eva for a wonderful read!

Michael is the ultimate Archangel. Verenda was made just for him. She brings out the best in him. He helps her conqueror her past. I can't wait to see what he does with his new protégés, Elizabeth and Hannah.

I loved Archangel Michael and Verendas story. I Could not put this book down. well onto the next book.
